have read this manual and have developed a thorough understanding of how the Bike Rack
works.
WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction
manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. It must be
understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors that cannot be built into this
product, but must be supplied by the operator.

WORK AREA
•Keep work area clean, free of clutter, and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas can cause
accidents.
•Keep children and bystanders away while loading the Bike Rack. Distractions can cause you
to lose control, so visitors should remain at a safe distance from the work area.
•Be aware of your surroundings. Using the Bike Rack in confined work areas may put you
dangerously close to sharp tools and rotating parts.
PERSONAL SAFETY
•Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when using the Bike Rack. Do
not use the Bike Rack while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
A moment of inattention while operating a Bike Rack may result in serious personal injury.
•Use safety apparel and equipment. Use safety goggles or safety glasses and work gloves
when assembling and using the Bike Rack.
BIKE RACK USE AND CARE
•Do not modify the Bike Rack in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function
and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which
the Bike Rack was designed.
•Always check for damaged or worn-out parts before using the Bike Rack. Broken parts will
affect the Bike Rack operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
•Do not exceed the Bike Rack load capacity.
•Store idle Bike Rack. When Bike Rack is not in use, store it in a secure place out of the reach
of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
ASSEMBLY
Step 1.Assemble the Left U-Frame (A), Left Main Rack Frame (C), and one Frame Support Bar (E).
A. Slide the first section of the Main Rack Frame onto the top bar of the U-Frame until it just fits onto the
bar. (The bottom of the U-Frame will have a foot.)
B. Slide the Frame Support Bar onto the top and bottom sections of the U-Frame. The top of the Frame
Support Bar has a wing nut and fits between the two sections of the Main Rack Frame.You may need to
maneuver the sections in order to fit it into this space. Be sure the wing nut is loose enough to slide the
bar.
C. Continue to slide the Main Rack Frame and Frame Support Bar onto the U-Frame, fitting the second
section of the Main Rack Frame onto the top bar of the U-Frame.

Step 2. Connect the bottom of the U-Frame to the bottom of the Main Rack Frame. Fit the Bottom
Support Bar (G) into the brackets and secure with two Clip Pins (H).
Step 3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to assemble the right section of the right section of the bike rack. (Use parts
B, D, E, G, and H.)
Step 4. Connect the left and right sections. A. To connect the back U-Frame sections, fit one Spacer Bar
(F) between the top bars and one Spacer Bar between the bottom bars. Secure with two Clip Pins (H) per
bar.

(Step 4 cont.) B. The bottom sections of each Main Rack Frame fit together and secure with a Clip Pin.
C. After the sections are in place, tighten the wing nuts on the Frame Support Bars.
Step 5. Screw the Plastic Stoppers (I) onto the long wing bolts that are on the U-Frames. The bolt and
wing nut may need to be adjusted so that there is room to install the stopper. If the bolt is difficult to
adjust, it may help to apply some WD-40
Installation
Set the bike rack in the pickup truck bed and adjust the wing bolts to securely fit the width of the bed, holding
the bike rack in place. Make sure the wing nuts are tightened against the frame bar.
Adjust the V-brackets on the Main Rack Frame to support the top of the bike tire. The V-brackets can be
loosened or tightened with the wing nut. *It is highly recommended to use tie-down straps (sold separately)
with this product to further secure the bikes.

MAINTENANCE
•Maintain your Bike Rack. It is recommended that the general condition of any Bike Rack be
examined before it is used. Keep your Bike Rack in good repair by adopting a program of
conscientious repair and maintenance. If any abnormal vibrations or noise occurs, have the
problem corrected before further use. Have necessary repairs made by qualified service
personnel.
