HOW TO
UPLOAD A JOB TO TRACMAP
ONLINE USING A USB
Before we start:
Note: To be able to get jobs off your TM5 device with
a USB you must have a USB dongle for your device.
You will also need a USB with some storage space on
it.
The dongle plugs into the bottom port on the
left hand side of the device.
Ensure you insert your USB into the end of the
dongle before you start the following steps.

RETRIEVING THE JOB FROM THE DEVICE
1. From the home screen press the ‘menu’ button
on the device.
2. From the menu use the arrow keys to select
the ‘manage jobs’ option.
3. From the manage jobs screen use the ‘tab’
button to select the ‘active’ and ‘finished’ tabs
in yellow, then use the arrow keys to select the
‘finished’ jobs tab.
4. In the ‘finished’ jobs screen a list of your
completed jobs will appear. If needed, use the
tab button to highlight the job list in yellow (as
seen in the photo) and then use the arrow keys
to select the job you would like in blue.
5. Once you’ve highlighted the correct job in
blue, click the ‘menu’ button on the device and
a pop up list will appear (as seen in the photo).
From this list select ‘export’.

6. From here select the correct USB drive
and file you’d like the job to be saved in.
Once you’ve selected this correctly in
blue you can use the ‘tab’ button down
to the ‘OK’ button. Which will then take
you back out to the ‘manage jobs’
screen displaying the following
message. Once this message has
disappeared you can remove the USB.
UPLOADING THE JOB TO TRACMAP ONLINE
1. Start by opening Tracmap online on
your computer and make sure your
USB is inserted into your computer.
Once you’re on Tracmap online select
‘JOBS’ from the tabs along the top.
2. From the jobs screen, select the dark
blue ‘Upload Job’ button.
3. From here select “choose file” and you
can should then get another pop up.

4. From here, you can navigate through
your files to the USB Drive and then
highlight the job you are uploading in
blue, then click the ‘open’ button.
5. Once you’ve selected the file and click
the ‘open’ button you will then be sent
back to the ‘upload file’ pop up. Here
you can see the file name has been
populated and you can proceed to click
the ‘upload’ button.
6. When you click upload another pop up
will appear (as pictured to the left)
which will populate a job number.
