*MOUNTING TO STEEL STUDS (MIN. 18 GA)
Although these brackets are engineered for both
wood and steel studs, Trueform strongly
recommends outfing the wall with wood studs
when possible. Therefore, mounng screws are
not included for steel stud applicaons.
If brackets must be installed on steel studs, we
recommend using 5/16” hex-head sheet metal
screws. Also note that applicable steel studs
should be no thinner than 18 gauge.
MOUNTING TO WOOD STUDS
Complete mounng hardware is included for wood
stud applicaons only.
Trueform Adjustable Stud Brackets and T Brackets can be mounted to either wood studs or steel* studs.
Each Adjustable Stud Bracket (FSB-B1-AL
or FSB-B1-AS) includes the following:
Part B1
Part AL or AS (depends on sink depth)
3/8” swivel foot (1 per bracket)
3/8” x 2” hex head screw (1 per bracket)
5/16” x 1-1/2” hex head wood screw
(2 per bracket)
5/16”-18 x 1” bolt (2 per bracket)
5/16”-18 nut (2 per bracket)

Step 1. Installing T Brackets
Step 2. Installing Adjustable Stud Brackets
It is important to note that brackets must be mounted to wood (or steel*) studs and must be perfectly leveled,
both independently and to each other. Do not measure from the floor when leveling brackets since the floor may
not be level. *See previous page for details on steel studs.
1. Mark the stud wall where you would like the center of the sink to be.
2. Determine the desired finished sink height and mark the stud 1” below. For example, a finished height of 34” (ADA
height) would result in a mark at 33” from the finished floor. This is your T Bracket installaon height (T-Height).
3. Set your laser level to the T-Height.
4 Determine and mark the distance from Center to where the le and right brackets will be mounted. The
Bracket-to-Center dimensions are found on your Trueform Custom Drawing. If there is no stud where
the brackets will be aached, either a full stud must be added or an exisng nearby stud must be packed to meet
this distance. Doubling up studs is recommended for T Brackets.
5. Clamp the T Bracket to the first mounng stud so that the top of the horizontal arm meets the T-Height.
6. Use your torpedo level to ensure the horizontal arm is level.
7. When the T Bracket is level and at the appropriate height, run the 5/16” drill bit in reverse at each hole to create
an index which is perfectly centered in each hole.
8. Create holes for the 5/16” x 2-1/2” hex head wood screws using the 3/16” drill bit.
9. Drive the 5/16” x 2-1/2” hex head wood screws into the studs using the 1/2" socket.
10. If necessary, repeat steps 4-9 for the other T Bracket. Note that if the other side of the sink touches a wall,
a T Bracket may not be necessary and wall cleang may be used.
1. Make a mark 6” below your T-Height and move the laser level to this height. This is your Adjustable Bracket
Height (B1-Height).
2. Mark lateral locaons along the wall so that the distance between any two brackets does not exceed 32”. You may
need to add studs in these locaons, however, doubling them up is not necessary. Be careful to maintain at least a
4” distance from any sink drain locaon.
3. Clamp Part B1 to the mounng stud so that the top of the horizontal arm meets the B1-Height and the front face
of the vercal length is flush with the front face of the stud. Note that B1 can be mounted in an “upside-down”
orientaon should condions require it.
4. Use your torpedo level to ensure the horizontal arm is level.
Each Adjustable Stud Bracket has 2 parts:
B1: Stud Mount
AL or AS: Supporng Arm
The arm will arrive to you in one of two
lengths and is determined by the
countertop depth of your sink:
AL(Long): Counter depths 20 1/2” - 24”
AS(Short): Counter depths 17” - 20 1/2”
B1 comes in a single size and must be
installed such that brackets will be both
level and spaced across the mounting wall
properly. B1 can be installed with the
vertical stud mounting plate oriented
either upward or downward.

Step 3. Cleang & Seng the Sink
5. Use the 5/16” and 3/16” drill bits in the same manner as the T Bracket installaon steps 7 & 8.
6. Use the 1/2" socket to drive the 5/16” x 1-1/2” hex head wood screws into the stud.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for all Parts B1. The wall can now be closed up and finished with drywall or le.
8. Aach Parts AS or AL slightly less than hand-ght to Parts B1 using the 5/16”-18 nuts and bolts so you can adjust
Parts AS or AL to their final locaons.
9. Set the distance from the center of the swivel feet to the finished wall, which is determined by subtracng 1-3/4”
from the overall sink deck depth.
10. Use the 1/2" socket and 1/2” box wrench to ghten the hardware. Due to the tolerance between the bolts and
the slots, it is important to apply slight downward pressure on the swivel foot during this step. The top surfaces
of Parts AS or AL and B1 should be flush.
11. When all brackets are complete, the swivel feet should be level with each other and approximately 1 1/4”
below the finished sink height when the leveling screws are midway between the top and boom posions
with room for adjustment in both direcons
1. Cleang is oponal but recommended. Once the wall has been closed-up, you may install horizontal cleang
on the back wall (and side walls, if applicable) between brackets at the T-Height. Ensure the distance between any
cleat and another support does not exceed 32”.
2. When the heights and measurements of all components have been verified, apply silicone to all contact points
(top of horizontal T Bracket arm, top of Adjustable Bracket swivel feet, and top of each cleat [if applicable]).
The sink is now ready to be set.
3. When seng the sink, the T Brackets will contact the underside of the 1” thick sink deck. The swivel feet will
contact a built-up area underneath the front of the sink basin (either by plywood or concrete). Note that you will
arrive with this surface already prepared.
4. Ensure that all all swivel feet are making contact with the underside of the sink, and use the 9/16” socket to
adjust the swivel feet height as necessary to level the sink.
B1-Height is equal to T-Height minus 6”.
T-Height for an ADA-level sink (i.e. finished height of 34”) is 33” plus the thickness of the finished floor.

The following instrucons are for our indoor products sealed with our topical sealer.
Now that your concrete is installed, you'll want to properly care for it. Follow these simple guidelines to keep your concrete
looking beauful for years to come:
Avoid dragging sharp, hard objects across the concrete surface to prevent scratching. Minor white scratches should be
expected throughout the piece from use over me. Applying Pledge every now and then can fill in minor scratches and give
your pieces a nice sheen.
Avoid using or leaving acidic foods and beverages (lemon juice, mustard, vinegar, wine, soda, tomatoes, bananas,
pumpkins/gourds, etc.) perfumes and colognes, cleaners that contain vinegar or citric acids, and other harsh chemicals or
solvents (ammonia, acetone, hydrogen peroxide, etc.) on the concrete surface. Clean or remove these substances as soon as
possible as they may “eat” through the sealer (which can leave a light hazing) and could possibly expose or stain your
concrete. There are, of course, other items and products that may damage your sealer. We have tested against the most
typical stain agents, but please use standard precauons to keep your concrete protected.
Avoid using abrasive soaps, cleansers, or scrubbing pads that can wear down the sealer. We recommend using mild,
non-abrasive, non-ammonia, non-citric acid, non-vinegar, non-bleach soaps and cleaners.
Please use standard care and precauons with your concrete products. Concrete is extremely durable; however, it is not
invincible. Excessive force can do damage to your piece.
