
Step 2: I A P F T
The small end of your 50mm Compact Refractor Telescope is called the Focusing Tube.
Just like the previous step, you are simply going to insert the silver end of the Angle
Prism as shown in Figure 3, into the corresponding opening in the Focusing Tube.
Secure in place with the set screw as shown in Figure 4.
Step 3: A T T
Locate your Tripod and pull the central piece connecting the three legs downward until
the legs are fully spread apart. This central piece should be parallel to the table or surface
the Tripod is placed on.
Next, you will want to remove the Large Hand Screw and corresponding nut from the
boom of the Telescope as shown in Figure 5. Place the Telescope on the Tripod Base
making sure to line up all the holes and push the Large Hand Screw back through and
secure with the nut as shown in Figure 6.
Now just point and look!
