High Definition Digital Video Camera
QUICK START GUIDE
IMPORTANT The DV Camera MUST be set to ALWAYS ON MODE and it must be
POWER ON before inserted to the Underwater DV Housing
Setting the DV Camera to ALWAYS-ON MODE
Step 1 Step 2
Flip out the LCD panel (or press Move the Joystick leftwards to enter the
the ON/OFF power button) to turn “MODE” menu
on the DV Camera

Choose SETTING menu, press to enter Highlight “Auto off”, press to enter

Set the DV Camera to Diving Mode before Installing to Underwater Housing
The Special Diving Mode program installed in the DV Camera corrects the Mirrored Image
showed onto the Reflected Viewing Panel of the Underwater Housing which provides Normal
Views convenience for the user. To activate the Diving Mode , please follow the steps
mentioned below -

Mounting and Installing the DV Camera to Underwater Housing
Step 1
Position the “Support Tray” to the mounting hole of the DV Camera, tighten the screw using
the hexagon key provided. Make sure the “Support Tray” is straightly aligned with the DV
Camera
Step 2 Step 3
Tie in the “Pulling Strap” to the strap hole Flip the LCD Panel back to the original
for pull out convenience of the DV Camera position with the display facing outward
Step 4
MAKE SURE to TURN ON the DV Camera, slide the DV Camera into the underwater housing thru
the “Guiding Slot” of the housing until it was fully inserted and securely seated
Step 5
Place the “Pulling Strap” buckle underneath the support tray
Step 6
Clamp and slide the Locking Latch to securely close and lock the housing caseback.
Step 7
Slide and push the Safety Lock upwards to “ Lock “ position to prevent accidental opening of
the caseback underwater
Step 8
Flip the external Mirror View Panel outwards until it stops at approx 40 degree position
Step 9
Push the RED Locking Knob upwards to secure the Mirror View Panel in place and prevent it
from flipping back underwater due to the resistance of the water current
(Slightly flip the view panel backwards during push-to-lock process if you found it difficult to
lock the Locking Knob)
