Installation Environment

To ensure proper cooling of the camera, should avoid the place of poorly ventilated, pay
attention to water, moisture, lightning. To install the outdoors, you need to place a waterproof box
where the camera is fixed;
The machine should be installed horizontally or wall mounted, to avoid in severe vibration of
the place, do not put the other devices on the machine.
To avoid electric shock and misfire
Remember that do not touch the power and the camera with wet hands;
Do not spill liquid on the camera, to avoid causing a short circuit or fire inside the machine;
Do not put other equipment placed directly on the upper of the camera;
Non-professionals do not disassemble the cabinet, to avoid damage and electrical shock;

The packaging machine is by seismic design and experiments, during transport to ensure that
the camera will not be accidentally damaged, so during transportation of the machine, it is best to
use the original packing material and carton;
Avoid moving camera in subcooled overheated spaces, to avoid condensation inside the
machine and to affect the life of the machine;

Restore the factory settings, as follows:
Step 1 Cut off the power of IP device, all the indicate lamps are off.
Step 2 Press the “RST” button with a pin, don’t release.
Step 3 Connect the power to the IP Device, the “STATE” indicate lamp will flicker. Hold
on another 30 seconds.
Step 4 Release the pin. Now, you can access the IP device now. Reset successfully

3 equipment and installation
3.1 Operating Environment
Operating system: Windows2000server/ professional/ XP

3.2 Equipment Installation
1. Connected to the network
1) The network camera is connected into your network or use crossover network cable to
connect directly to a PC.
2) DC12V power supply is turned on.
3) Network connection under normal circumstances, within 5 seconds the connected lamp
(orange) at the network interface lights up, the data indicator (green) flashes, then the
camera's physical network connection is completed.

2. Installation
1) Fix camera:Stents one-piece structure is used in this series camera ,using four PA4 screw fixed
in the position of the need to install the camera base, as shown:
2) Three axis adjustment of bracket:Loosen the nut of camera, three axis adjustment can be made.
Through shaft connection between adjusting and support base, realize the horizontal direction (P)
0 ~ 360 °regulation; adjusting bracket spherical connection can realize the vertical direction (T)
0 ~ 90 °regulation and rotation direction (R) 0 ~ 360 °. After adjust camera images to a suitable
scene, tighten the adjustment nut, complete the installation, as shown:

4 IE client
4.1 Preparations
The default IP address of IP device is 192.168.1.19. Default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0.
May modify the IP address of the network camera, such as the network camera modified to
address 192.168.1.194;To access the IP device, the IP address of the PC should match the address
below. Such as:192.168.1.171。
test whether the network camera starts normally. Under WINDOWS system in accordance
with <Start → run → command>operation to open a command line window, type Ping
192.168.1.19 in the command line window, if not display "Request time out", the show starts
normally;
When using a browser (Internet Explore) to access the network camera for the first time, you
must temporarily reduce the security settings to install ActiveX components to the network at one
time, select “Tools”-“Internet Options”-“Security”-“Custom level”-“ActiveX
controls and plug-ins”,enable the “Download signed ActiveX controls”, click “OK” and restart
the web browser.
4.2 Began to visit
1) Enter the default IP address of the IP device on Browser: http://192.168.1.19, Login page
appears as shown below:
2) Carefully read the web page prompts, if you need to install the controls, click the "click
here" button, then follow the prompts to complete the installation of the controls
successfully;
3) If you use IE browser versions below 6.0, please upgrade your browser to version 6.0 or
later;
4) Enter Username: 888888 (factory default administrator user) or 1 (normal user);
5) Enter password: 888888 (factory default administrator password) or 1 (user password)

6) Click [OK] button to enter the network camera preview screen. As shown below:
4.3 Introduction
4.3.1 Real-time monitoring
[Network Mode]: TCP and Multicast, can choose according to your needs.
[View Real-time Video]: Click the button , the preview window will play real-time
video of all channels; Click the button, the preview window real - time video play of all channels;
[Stop Watching The Video]:Click the button , the preview window will stop play
the real-time video of all channels;
[Audio]: Click the button , the button turns orange.
Note: the audio equipment is adaptive, without the user's own settings.
Microphone Input: Input audio from the audio input port of IP Camera, access to the device
on the computer and start the audio function, then can hear speech sounds, to achieve the audio
microphone input. Audio parameters required to be set in the "Settings -> Channels -> Audio
Parameters":

Set the audio input type to “Mic”, when you start a Mic Boost, audio sound will be
amplified.
[Talkback] Click the button , the button icon will become orange. The computer's
microphone input port connected to a microphone, audio output device connected to speakers,
speak into the microphone, speakers play the speech sounds. Talkback IP Camera can set the
output audio volume, as shown below:
Note: Only support by the device with Talkback.
[Snapshot] Click the button per time, IP device will automatically catch a
snapshot with BMP format, and will create a folder by the name of the current date. The default
snapshot path in the local computer is C:\Temp, the snapshot is named with: Device name_1_time.
For example: video server_1_09_26_37. Size and image resolution of the image file is consistent,
if the preview image has superimposed character and time display, you have to capture the images
superimposed character and time display.
[Record] Click the button , the button icon will become orange, recording starts.
Click the button again to stop recording, the icon turns back to be white. The IP device will create
automatically a folder named by the current recording date, and save the recorded file in the
format of *.mp4.in Disk D. The recorded file is named with: Device name_1_time. For example:
“D:\20110305\video server_1_092637.mp4”. If d disk space is full, it will automatically jump to
the next disk to save the video file. If there is not enough disk space, the oldest video files will be
deleted and re-save the latest video files.
4.3.2 Replay
[Video Replay]: Select the "Replay" tab, enter the video replay pages, local computer: as
shown below:

Front-end equipment: front-end SD card recording file search
Select the recording time to replay, click “Search”, there will display the file list in the
segment time under the “File List”.

1. Choose the one you want to replay and click matching icon to playback. After the
video has finished playing the preview window will stay on the image of the last frame.
2. Download: Click the button below "Download" to download remote video files.
3. RTSP historical playback: Click RTSP can play history video files by streaming.
Note: You need to install VLC and QuickTime player software before playing.
[Preview Image Size]: Click the button , , to preview the images with a 1x, 2x,
full-screen of image size, the selected size of the button is indicated with a white background,
when full-screen, you can click the right button to restore.
[Image Buffer]: Click the button , , , , , to set the image buffer
level to 0, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 respectively; larger the number is, greater the image delay is, but the
image is better fluency, selected buffer button will represent with a white background.
4.3.3 Parameter settings
[Parameter settings]: Select the "Settings" tab, enter the parameter setting page, as shown
below:
Parameter settings include: basic settings, network parameters, channel parameters, alarm
parameters, and front-end storage.
4.3.3.1 Basic Information Set
[Device Name]: Click " Device Name " line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown
below,

Input the name of the device, then click OK to save. You can modify the name.
[Synchronize the date and time]: Click the "Time Setting" line, it will unfold the settings
page, as shown below:
Click the button , the date and time displayed in the
preview window synchronize to the computer system date and time.
[User Management]: Click "User management" line, it will unfold the settings page, as
shown below
The default administrator username / password: 888888/ 888888, you can modify the user
name and password and click "OK" button; after modified the user name and password to re-login
page to view real-time video; Similarly, you can also modify the default username password of
two ordinary users 1 / 1,2 / 2.
[Time to Reboot]: Click "Time to Reboot" line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown
below:
Enter the time to reboot, click "OK", to achieve that the IP Camera reboot at a specified time.
[Restore to Leave Factory Default Parameters]: Click "Restore to Leave Factory Default

Parameters" line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown below:
Click “Restore” button and reboot the IP device, all the parameters will be back to the factory
default parameters, except for the device name and IP address & port.
[System Update]: Click "System Update" line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown
below:
This is used for system upgrade. Click “Browse…”to choose upgrade files of “*. itm” format,
and then click “OK”, until the webpage displays “The program has been updated successfully,
please login again”, the device will reboot automatically.
4.3.3.2 Network parameters
[Network Parameters]: Click "Network Parameters" tab, display the settings of following
parameters below:
[IP Address & Port]: Click " IP Address & Port " line, it will unfold the settings page, as
shown below:

You can modify the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, web port, transmission starting port,
remote host address and port, alarm host address and port, multicast addresses and ports, etc.can
also set up web service port, UPNP, PPPOE dial services start state, click "OK", then click on the
left "Save parameters" button and reboot the device, then take effect.
[DDNS]: Click "DDNS" line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown below:
Select the Enable domain name, select DDNS provider, enter the application DDNS
username / password, domain name, DDNS server address and port, set the local mapping port
and update interval, click "OK." Enter the domain name in the IE address bar, if the normal
domain name to access the device indicates success.
[FTP Parameters]: Click "FTP Parameters" line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown
below:
Start FTP upload, modify computer IP ftp host IP to start ftpserver service, click "OK"; After
starting ftpserver server, set the server IP and FTP directory and start the service, set the alarm
linkage for upload the alarm recording and snapshot to FTP and trigger alarm or start timed
capture uploaded to FTP, the pictures and videos will be uploaded to the computer specified

directory.
[UPNP]: Click "UPNP" line, it will unfold the settings page, as shown below:
Connect the device to the router with UPNP function, WEB service port of devices, data
transfer port, parameters configure port, front-end video file transfer port will be mapped. Status
display maps.
[Streaming Protocol]: Click "Streaming Protocol" line, it will unfold the settings page, as
shown below:

5. Frequent Asked Questions
5.1 Fail to Access the IPCamera through the Browser
Possible Cause: The network is disconnected?
Solution: Connect PC to the network to test whether the network access can work normally.
Firstly clear the cable fault and the network fault caused by PC virus till Ping the network
between PCs successfully.
Possible Cause: IP address is occupied by other equipment.
Solution: Disconnect the IP camera and network, and then connect the IP camera to the PC
solely. Also, reset the IP address according to appropriate recommended operations.
Possible Cause: IP address is located in different subnets.
Solution: Check the settings of the IP address of IP camera, the subnet mask address and
gateway.
Possible Cause: Unknown
Solution: Restore to the factory-set default state by pressing the restore button behind the IP
camera.
5.2 Can Not Play Video after Program Updating
Solution: Close all the browser pages; search “NetViewX Control.cab” file under the
C:\Windows\Downloaded and delete it. Then connect the IP camera by the browser again, the IP
camera real-time view will automatically display after install the plug-in again.
5.3 Fail to Browse Images Normally in Windows98
Solution: Install the DirecteX8.0 or higher version. Update the IE Explore to 6 and above
versions.
5.4 Can Not Get Data Passed Through Switch
Possible Cause:
The address is written wrong?
The bindings of port and physical address are done or not?
When configuring the firewall rule, whether take IP camera into account.
Solution:
Before searching the network fault, please make sure to use the ping command in the
command mode to connect the IP address. To check the message returned from ping is a very
important step. If no message is returned, it indicates that some faults must exist in the network.
If the IP address and Mac address are bound, adding a new binding of IP address and Mac
address of the IP camera within the exchanger is required inside switch.
If the IP camera never be recognized when configuring the firewall rule of switch, it’s

necessary to allow the communication on ports 3000, 3001, 3002, 3003 and 80 for the IP camera.
Otherwise, any data packet will be filtered and can’t reach target.
5.5 Errors OccurAfter Updating
Delete the buffer of the browser. The detailed steps are as follows: open the tool menu of
browser to open the Internet option, and then click the “Delete File” button in the second item
(temporary file of Internet) and check the “Delete All Offline Contents” option. Then confirm, and
login the IP camera again.
