1. Unfasten 3 screws in cover
evaporator front.
3. To prevent water drops, cover connection part between pipe suction and connection piping line with insulating material provided
with indoor unit.
4. Wind finishing tape around liquid pipe, gas pipe and electric wiring.
2. Open cover evaporator front and disconnect gas pipe and liquid pipe from
connection piping line.

5. Connect hook of power cable and insert is securely into the fixing part.
6. Check if pan drain is securely positioned at the end of drain hose. If
loose, firmly secure it with cable tie.
* In case there is interference with piping line when cover evaporator front is closed, move piping line close to evaporator, close cover
evaporator front and fasten screws.
* Well done. Installation has been completed.

◇ Wiring and part shapes may differ per product model. Therefore, make sure to refer to wiring diagram
attached to each model for installation.
(Refer to wiring diagram attached at the end of the manual.)
1. Connect piping lines by distinguishing between piping lines of standing type A/C and split type A/C.
(If connection piping line is long, additionally fill up refrigerant by referring to pressure table. However, make sure that
difference in the length of connection piping lines of standing type A/C and split type A/C is within 5m.)
2. Connect the power line of standing type A/C (wiring No. 4 and 5) first before administering air-purge process. After
completion of air purging, additionally connect signal line (No. 6) and wiring of split type A/C (No. 1 and 2). Caution is
required because there is danger of electric shock during this process.
CCAAUUTTIIOONN
☞Be sure to use designated wires and make it as short as possible
☞Use an exclusive power supply for the air conditioner
☞Use an electricity leakage interrupter having suitable capacity.
☞Grounding resistance should be under 100 ohms and the grounding wire should be connected firmly to the terminal of
out door unit.
☞When connecting wires of indoor and outdoor unit, the numbers of terminal block and terminals of connecting wires
should match exactly as shown below.
☞Terminals of connecting wires should be fixed firmly using wire fixing tool to the same direction of terminal board.
3. For Multi-one model, power is supplied to outdoor unit through power line of the indoor unit of standing type A/C.
Therefore, even for cooling operation of split type A/C only, power plug for the indoor unit of standing type A/C must
be inserted into power outlet to enable cooling operation.
☞Make sure to deliver product to customer after completing installation.

Air Purging Method
5
◇ The connected piping between indoor and outdoor units contains air inside. Air-purge is the process to remove this
air.
Existence of non-condensable gas, such as oxygen or nitrogen gas, inside piping line causes increase of discharge
pressure, heating of compressor, degradation of the performance of air conditioner and refrigerant noise, etc.
Therefore, air-purge is an essentially required process.
◇ Air purging by refrigerant of outdoor unit (in case length of piping is of 10m or less)
▶Connect piping lines of indoor and outdoor units. (Service valves of gas and liquid are both closed.)
▶Loosely fasten nuts (④) for connection of gas service valve (so that the nuts can be unfastened by hand).
▶Remove nut caps (⑧,⑨) and port cap (⑩) of service
valve.
▶Using a hexagonal wrench, rotate spindle (⑦) of liquid
service valve by 90°in anticlockwise direction. Hold the
spindle in position for 8 ~ 10 seconds. Rotate it again by
90°in clockwise direction to close. Then, completely
fasten nuts (④) for connection of gas service valve.
▶Press side of the service port (⑥) of gas pipe service
valve 2 or 3 times (for 3 seconds per time) to completely
remove air from inside the valve.
▶Completely open gas and liquid service valve spindles
(⑤, ⑦) by using a hexagonal wrench.
▶Close all of nut caps (⑤, ⑥) and port caps (⑦, ⑧) of
service valve. Otherwise, refrigerant leakage may occur.
◇ Air purging by vacuum pump (in case length of piping is of 10m of more)
▶Connect piping lines of indoor and outdoor units. (Service valves of gas and liquid are both closed.)
▶Connect low pressure hose (③) of manifold gauge to service port (④) of gas service valve.
▶Open valve of the low pressure hose (①) of manifold gauge, connect vacuum pump as shown in the picture and start purging.
▶Run vacuum pump until gauge pressure reaches [-76cmHg] (for 10 ~ 20 minutes).
▶Close valve of the low pressure hose (①) or manifold
gauge, wait for 3 ~ 4 minutes and check if scale of
pressure gauge has changed. If scale of pressure gauge
has changed, check connection part to prevent refrigerant
leakage in advance.
▶Turn off vacuum pump and disconnect low pressure hose
(③) of manifold gauge from service valve.
▶Completely open gas and liquid service valves by using a
hexagonal wrench.
▶Close all of nut caps (⑤, ⑥) and port caps (⑦, ⑧) of
service valve. Otherwise, refrigerant leakage may occur.

◇ Multi-one model is assembled with solenoid valve inside the system. Therefore, for refrigerant purging, the closed
solenoid valve must be opened. Follow the instructions below.
▶Connect power line of the indoor unit of standing type A/C to terminal block of outdoor unit.
▶Connect power plug of the indoor unit of standing type A/C to cabinet panel box.
▶Solenoid valve opens with a clicking sound.
(Valve is opened for 1 hour only when supplying power for the first time. _ Supply power again after 1 hour.)
▶Administer air purging according to the attached [refrigerant purging method] or [purging by vacuum pump].
▶Continuously administer air purging in the same way when connecting frame-type piping.
▶After completion of air-purge, pull out power plug of the indoor unit of split type A/C. Then, connect signal line and split type A/C wiring to
the terminal block of outdoor unit.
▶Administer test operation.
▶When no abnormalities are detected, finish up piping process (finishing up wiring and insulation materials).

Check the hose and connection status of manifold gauge.
Then, check if there is a pin at the end of low pressure hose
(③). Valves of low and high pressure hoses (①,②) must be
closed.
Connect hose in the middle of manifold gauge (④) to
refrigerant container (⑤). Refrigerant container must be
prepared so that refrigerant can be charged in gaseous state.
While placing low pressure hose of manifold gauge (③) over
the service port of gas service valve (⑥), open the valve of
refrigerant container (⑤), slightly open low pressure valve of
manifold gauge (①) and remove air from inside the hose
(③). Immediately after removing air, connect ③and ⑥and
close the low pressure valve of manifold gauge (①).
Start cooling operation of air conditioner.
Open and close low pressure valve (①) by checking the
pressure of manifold gauge. Repeat pressure check and
additionally fill up refrigerant according to the pressure listed
Close low pressure valve of manifold gauge (①) and stop the
operation of air conditioner.
After closing the valve of refrigerant container, disconnect
manifold gauge and reassemble nut caps and port caps (to
prevent refrigerant leakage).
