Urban Sports Junkie Pro Pogo 60110 User manual

GENERAL WARNING
Using a Pogo is a great fun and an excellent way to master a new
skill and keep fit. But like any other moving product it can also be
a dangerous activity which may result in injury or even death if
you allow the Pogo to get you into a dangerous situation. Use this
product at your own risk and use common sense when riding, and
follow these tips to reduce your risk:
• Check that that the rubber tip is firmly in place prior to use, if it is
loose or damaged do not use the Pogo and replace the part.
• Always use the correct protective equipment, helmet (make sure
your chin strap is securely buckled), knee and elbow pads.
• Use correct shoes or trainers
• Select the location for riding carefully; pick a smooth dry surface
away from any motor vehicles
• Avoid wet sand, grass, gravel or leafy areas or have hazards such
as drainage grates or sudden surface changes.
• Only allow riders with the appropriate weight range for your
particular Pogo model to use it.
• A child’s weight does not necessarily indicate that the product is
appropriate for them to maintain control of the Pogo stick.
• Children should always have the correct adult supervision when
using this product.
• Parents should always determine that the product is appropriate
for the specific child’s maturity, skill and ability.
GOOD PRACTICES FOR SAFE POGO USE
Pogo’s are designed for use on solid, flat, clean and dry surfaces,
such as pavements level ground free from debris like rocks and
gravel. Use on wet or uneven surfaces seriously contributes to
possible accidents and impairs safe landings.
• Never use in poor visibility or at night. Always consider the risk
of damaging surfaces such as carpet or flooring by use of the
Pogo indoors.
• Always hold the Pogo in an upright, vertical position when
jumping, and do not push the Pogo away from you as this can
affect your balance, landings and may damage the Pogo.
• Direct parental supervision is required at all times. The product
should only be used in appropriate areas and controlled
environments away from potential traffic hazards, and avoiding
causing distress or nuisance to other members of the public.
GETTING SET TO POGO
Always wear the correct protective equipment when using your
Pogo, a safety helmet (insuring that the chin strap is adjusted and
fitting correctly), knee pads and elbow pads. Never use the Pogo
barefoot or in lose fitting foot ware, trainers or shoes should be used
at all times, making sure that shoelaces if appropriate are tied and will
not get tangled in the pogo foot pegs.
