operation may result

certain dangers. It is therefore highly recommended to read this manual thoroughly and adhere to the following precautions.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
*
To
prevent an electrical shock, do not open the housing
of
the unit.
In
any case
of
malfunctioning, only have the unit serviced by an approved and qualified service centre.
*Do not expose to any water
or
to avery humid environment. Do not operate the unit when your hands are wet as this
may cause ashort circuit.
*For safe driving, keep the volume low
in
order to concentrate on traffic conditions.
*Do not clean the unit with alcohol, only clean with asoft dry cloth.
*Ifthe unit has been kept at ahigh temperature
or
in
ahigh humidity environment, cool down the car interior before turning
on the unit.
*Do not use the unit for along time without running the vehicle engine, it may drain the battery and the engine svehicle
may not be able to start. .
*Before final installation in the dashboard opening, connect the wiring and make sure the unit is working properly.
*Only use parts provided with the unit to ensure proper installation.
*Do not route wiring in places that the heat may melt the wiring insulation.
*When replacing the fuse, ensure that the new fuse has the capacity recommended by the manufacturer.
*

must
not
watch
any
video
or
photo
files
while
driving.

*Do not operate the player with scratched, bent
or
broken discs. When adisc is not loaded properly,
do
notforce it into the
disc loader.
*Never insert
any
other objects into the disc loader like acoin
or
pin, etc as this
may
cause damage
or
ashort circuit.
*Do not use different disc formats other than 12cm round discs.
*Please dispose
of
used batteries according to the regulations in your country.
*
If
the unit is disconnected to the battery, it will lose memorized data.
*
If
the source disc has poor sound quality due to scratches,
dit
or
abad recording, the playback sound quality
may
be
poor.
Remote control:
*
Do
not
let
the
remote
control
fall
onto
the
floor,
where
it
may
become
jammed
under
the
brake
or
accelerator
pedals;
*
Do
not
short-circuit,
disassemble
or
heat
the
battery;
*
Do
not
dispose
of
the
battery
in a

BASIC OPERATION

POWER
Press the button to tum on the unit.
If
adisc is already in the tray, it will begin to play once .

PLAY/PAUSE
Press the button first time to pause playback (still mode). The sound will be muted during still mode.
Press the button twice to resume normal playback.

SD/MMC CARD
Slot
Insert SD/MMC Card, the unit will play the files automatically.
Note: Once the cards
could
not
ejectautomaticallyafterpressing,
just
take
it
out
manually.

Press the button

to stop mode. As some disc the unit can recall the location where stopped, such as DVDs and audio CDs.

PLAY/PAUSE to playback to resume playback from the location where playback is stopped

from the beginning

the disc.

Installing the battery
Slide the tray out on the back
of
the remote control and insert the
battery with polarity (+) on top as shown.
Use and care
of
the remote control
Point the remote control to the IR window on the front panel for
operation.
Notes:
Using the battery incorrectly can cause malfunctions. Take note
of
the following points for the remote control:
*Keep the battery out
of
the reach
of
children. Should the battery
be swallowed, immediately consult adoctor.
*Use one CR2025(3V)lithium battery.
*Remove the battery
if
the remote control is not to be used for a
month or longer.

The PBC allows the userto play Video CDs interactively.

SPECIAL FUNCTION PLAYBACK
MP3 PLAYBACK
When playing MP3 disc, anavigation menu will
be
displayed automatically ifthe disc
is loaded
in
succession.
In
the menu, use UP or DOWN button
in
the cursors to choose
folder, then
press"
ENTER/PLAY" button to confirm.
In
the folder, use UP or DOWN
button
in
the cursors to select the file, then press "ENTER/PLAY" to play this file.
USB FUNCTION INTRODUCTION
1.
USB device available on sale now are version
1.1
and 2.0. The DVD unit mainly supports
1.1
version, but due to multi-
functional design
of
this version, some non-compatibility case may happen.
2.
Due to various compact format and parameter without astandard, so it
is
inevitable that if some problems happen during
playbacking.
3.
WMA format
is
exclusive to WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, and be compressed and played by this player.

SPECIAL FUNCTION PLAYBACK
SD/MMC CARDS FUNCTION
The unit support the following cards: MMC CARD: MULTI MEDIACARD
SD CARD: SD MEMORY CARD
1.
Turn on the player.
2.
Please insert the card (SD or MMC) .
3.
Use "MODE" button switch DVD to CARD. After loaded, anavigation menu will be
displayed automatically ifcard is loaded in succession.
In
the menu, use
UP
or DOWN
in
the cursor to select afold, then press "ENTER/PLAY" to confirm, in the fold, use UP
or
DOWN button in the cursor to select the file, then press "ENTER/PLAY" to play.
4. This unit can play the format such as MP3, CD and JPG.
Notice:
When playing disc, the unit will
be
stop amoment.
•When the disc is working
in
the tray and the card function at the same time, the unit will play disc first.
In
that case, you can
•use "MODE" button switch DVD to CARD, the card function is valid.
DVD player will load disc priorly, press 'MODE' to select different situation.
•When reading card, there is no marker.
You
can press 'MODE'
to
switch
to
DVD situation.

selected, apicture recorded

standard 4:3 format always displays
in
the 4:3 aspect ratio.
•The display format

DVD titles may vary; please refer to the

•Ifthe DVD title is recorded

16:9 wide display format while
the TV
is
astandard 4:3 screen, horizontal compression of
the image will result.
•Some DVD titles may
be
recorded
in
special formats.

such
cases, the DVD titles will always appear
on
the screen
in
their
original format, regardless
of
which TV display format
you
select.

select the whole setup menu and on-screen display language.
1.3 LAST MEMORY
LAST MEMORY: This function is convenient when you want to continue viewing
adisc from the point where you were watching before. Unlike the resume function,
the Last Memory function
is
effective even the DVD is removed from the player.
Last Memory may not work reliably with some VCD that feature PBC.
•When Last Memory
is
ON. Each time when you open the tray to remove the disc.

•If your monitor support only NTSC or PAL and had you inadvertently selected the wrong
screen type, the screen will become flickering and black-and-white.

Sets the preferred subtitle language as the default when playing DVD.(lf available in DVD disc.)
4.4 DISC MENU
Sets the preferred menu language as the default when playing DVD.(lfavailable
in
DVD disc.)
4.5 PARENTAL
The parental control function works
in
conjunction with the different censorship classes assigned
to DVDs. These classes help to control the types of DVDs that the family watches, There are up
to 8censorship classes for DVDs.

•The PARENTAL control can be changed when PASSWORD MODE is set to OFF, operation
refer to next section
