THE SOLUTION
Sport Clips in partnership with VAULT has developed a stylish enclosure
supporting the Microsoft Surface PRO 4 for easy check-in and check-out of our
clients. The unit is made in the USA from high quality 6061 aluminum and powder
coated in black and brilliant red to match the Sport Clips brand. The solution is
packed full of features and allows us the exibility to handle any specials needs
your store might have.

Carefully unpack Sport Clips kiosk on
clean surface.

Remove the back plate.

The following tools (not included) are needed to install this product: Electrical tape,
a power drill or Phillips head screwdrivers (small [PH0] and medium).
Verifone VX805 PIN pad assembly:
Unpack the Verifone VX805 PIN pad.
Remove the one rear screw.
Caution: There is a small spring
on this screw which will be required
for reassembly.

Locate VX805 cable.

Replace the rear cover.

Carefully press the VX805 cable
into place.

This portion of the assembly is complete.

Remove the (4) faceplate screws located
in each corner and carefully remove the
faceplate. Once removed, place the kiosk
assembly in the upright position.

Kiosk assembly: On a clean surface,
carefully place the kiosk face down to
prevent scratching (use a cloth to protect
the red faceplate if needed).
Rotate the VX805 mount as shown and
re-attach using (4) screws included in
VX805 bracket set.

On the back of the kiosk, remove the one
screw from VX805 mount as shown.

Mounting the VX805 PIN pad:
Using the PH0 Phillips head screwdriver,
install the VX805 on the mount using (2)
screws from the included mounting bag.
These screws are small and easily lost;
an extra is included.

Carefully route the VX805 cable
through the channel as shown.
Use caution not to over-bend the cable.

Carefully remove the P-Clip as shown.

Re-attach the P-Clip, ensuring the VX805
cable is routed through it and laying at
on the surface.

Route the other end of the VX805 cable
through center of the kiosk as shown.

Microsoft Tablet installation:
Carefully unpack the Microsoft tablet,
power supply and power cord.
Route the tablet power cord from the
bottom of the mount into the enclosure
as shown.

Route the power cable between the 90
degree USB cable and the keyboard
cable as shown above.
Version 4 has an additional P-Clip used
to route the power cable.

Ensure there is enough cable length to
reach power connection on the tablet.
Loosen and adjust P-Clip if needed.

Locate the tablet power plug.

Connect tablet power plug as shown.
Use small amount of electrical tape to
secure the power cable to the tablet. It
should be a slim prole so its not visible
once the faceplate is attached.

Locate the USB cable.

Attach the USB cable to tablet as shown.

Carefully place the tablet on the
enclosure ensuring all cables lay at. It’s
critical that the tablet lay at against the
enclosure.

Ensure the faceplate is positioned evenly
around the perimeter, then carefully
install the (4) faceplate screws on the
back of the enclosure.

IMPORTANT! Attach the red faceplate
from the right side rst, ensuring all
cables are contained neatly within the
enclosure. As the left side is brought
down, exert slight outward (leftward)
pressure to ensure the faceplate seats
correctly. There should be no exposed
wires or gaps between the faceplate and
the kiosk backplate. If there are, verify all
cables and the tablet itself are at.

enclosure to proper alignment.

parts to the store for kiosk installation.
All unused parts should be saved for
potential future use.

The tablet power button can be
accessed through the top/left of the
enclosure. Be sure to use an appropriate
tool to avoid damaging the button (do not
use a paper-clip).
FUN FACT! The end of a lollipop stick is
the perfect tool for reaching the tablet
power button.

Connecting the Kiosk
Locate the USB hub and Ethernet to
USB adapter below.
IMPORTANT! The following steps are
color-coded and should not be confused
with the Sport Clips network diagram.
These steps pertain only to the kiosk
connections as shown.
USB hub, data cable and power adapter.

white or silver).

Color-coded Kiosk Cables
Connect the color-coded cables as shown.
IMPORTANT!
If you only have one kiosk (Guided,#1), connect the unlabeled black cable from the
VX805 PIN pad into an available USB port on your POS.
If you have two kiosks, connect the unlabeled black cable from the VX805 PIN pad
into the remaining USB port on the USB hub for Kiosk #2 only (the standalone kiosk).
