2IO-VENT-SS
Notice: Prior to installing, serious consideraon must
be taken to ensure this venlaon system will operate
properly if integrated with any other type of mechanical
system such as a forced air system or an air handling unit.
To ensure proper operaon and compabilies of both
systems, the airows of the Heat Recovery Venlator
(HRV) or Energy Recovery Venlator (ERV) must be
balanced by the installer, by following the procedures
found in this manual.
The way in which your HRV/ERV is installed may make a
signicant dierence to the electrical energy consumed
when operang. To minimize the electricity use of the
HRV/ERV, a stand-alone fully ducted installaon is
recommended. If you choose a simplied installaon that
operates your furnace or air handler for room-to-room
venlaon, electrical energy consumpon and operang
cost will be greatly reduced if the blower of the system's
furnace or air handler has an electronically commutated
(ECM) motor.
Limitations: The product is for residenal applicaons
only and must be installed in accordance with all naonal
and local regulaons, building and safety codes.
