CAREFULLY BEFORE FIRST USE.

This lamp is supplied with a 5W LED bulb
that provides equivalent light output of
a 35watt incandescent, but lower energy
consumption.
The LED bulb can if desired be replaced
with up to 35watt halogen incandescent
bulb, but the lamp will run hotter.
WARNING! THE LAMP WILL GET
HOT IN USE; AVOID CONTACT WITH
THE HOT LAMP, ESPECIALLY DIRECT
CONTACT WITH THE BULB.
BULB FITTING TOOL
A Suction cup tool is provided to assist in
fitting bulbs, as it is difficult to grasp the
bulb once positioned in the lamp body.
1 Press the suction cup onto the
face of the GU10 bulb.
2 Then you can use the suction cup as
a handle to insert or remove the bulb
from the lamp base.
3 Remove the tool from bulb by lifting the
edge of the cup to release.
4 Keep the tool in a safe place so that
you have next time a bulb needs
replacement.
5 CAUTION! Do not use tool on hot
bulbs. Remove tool before operating
light fixture.
NOTE: The exact type of suction cup tool
may vary from the one shown here.
TO FIT / CHANGE THE BULB
To fit bulbs into lamp bases - using the
fitting tool align the pins with holes in
the lamp base, locate and rotate 1/4 turn
clockwise to engage. Remove the fitting tool.

Before changing a bulb, switch off;
disconnect the plug and let it cool for at
least 10 minutes.
Replace it with a bulb of the same type
(GU10 type bulb) , with a rating of
240volt and 5watt for LED tpe bulbs; or
240volt and no greater than 35watt max.
for halogen incandescent bulbs.
TO REMOVE BULB
Ensure the lamp is unplugged and
cooled. Using the bulb fitting tool, turn
the old bulb 1/4 turn anticlockwise and lift
out of the lamp base.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & CARE
1 Use the base clamp to fit to a stable
object in a dry location.
2 Use the lamp indoors only.
3 Keep out of the reach of young children
and pets.
4 WARNING! The lamp will get
hot in use, especially when using
incandescent bulbs - avoid contact with
the hot lamp, especially direct contact
with the bulb.
5 Use only GU10 type bulb of 240 volt
rating 5W LED type recommended
or 35watt maximum Halogen
incandescent.
6 To clean the lamp use a clean dry cloth.
Wait 10 minutes after disconnecting to
allow time to cool.
7 The electrical parts can only be
serviced by a qualified tradesman,
in compliance with standards/
specifications.
Warranty
Arlec guarantees this product in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Arlec also warrants to the original first purchaser of this product (“you”) from a retailer that this product will be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase; provided the product is not used other than for the purpose, or in a
manner not within the scope of the recommendations and limitations, specified by Arlec, is new and not damaged at the time of purchase,
has not been subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect or damage, has not been modified or repaired without the approval of Arlec and has not
been used for commercial purposes (“Warranty”).
If you wish to claim on the Warranty, you must, at your own expense, return the product, and provide proof of original purchase and your
name, address and telephone number, to Arlec at the address below or the retailer from whom you originally purchased the product within
12 months from the date of purchase.
Arlec will (or authorise the retailer to) assess any claim you may make on the Warranty in the above manner and if, in Arlec’s reasonable
opinion, the Warranty applies, Arlec will at its own option and expense (or authorise the retailer to) replace the product with the same or
similar product or repair the product and return it to you or refund the price you paid for the product. Arlec will bear its own expenses of
doing those things, and you must bear any other expenses of claiming on the Warranty.
The Warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under a law in relation to the product to which the Warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the
goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
