MANUAL: Pump runs when pressed,
remaining only thermal protection.
Maximum time hand running is 15
seconds.
OFF “0” (RESET): No starting possible in
any circunstance. Pump alarm reset and
siren stop along 4 minutes.

Green Pilot:C MOTOR RUNNING. Light up
when pump is running. Flashing pilot ledD means unit is in “HAND” position.
Amber Pilot:D HIGH LEVEL. Light up when
over Alarm Level.
Green Pilot:E VOLTAGE. Light up when
there is supply voltage.
DisplayF LED: Shows level height in

Connection
It’s recommended to use suitable terminals in all connection wires.
VERY IMPORTANT to select the correct voltage in the voltage selection terminal blocks (see
“Internal confi guration” section, point “K”).

Single phase installation

Sheet 6
ITM-0157-ED1
Level transducer connection with 4-20 mA output
Connect a level transducer to two 4-20 mA
wires. This input is protected against short
circuit and polarity reversal
Transducer signal is software-fi ltered to avoid
level oscillations caused by water turbulence or
transducer movements.
Transducer cable shield must be connected to
protective earth terminal block.
N.B.: In case of sensor failure (signal <2 mA),
the display will show the message “Err-SEn”.
Optional elements
External siren and alarm output (C & D control
terminal blocks):
The unit offers a volt-free contact N.O.; it will
activate with level alarm and will run on an
external alarm.
Auxiliary alarm fl oat switch input (E & F control
terminal blocks):
Install an extra fl oat to more security, in case
of failure, 4-20 mA transducer provocates two
pumps to start. The fl oat must close its contact
when level goes up.
Klixon over-temperature switch inputs:
If klixon inputs are available and will not be
use, IT’S STRONGLY NECESSARY to short
circuit them, other way, over-temperature alarm
will be activated.

Interactive adjustment
If you move any adjustment (alarm level, stop time or transducer range) the LED display will blink
indicating its numeric value.
It is very important to select the correct sensor
range. this adjustment is located in the frontal
board. Turning the adjustment will show the
selected value in the LED display.
Only alarm level adjustment is
necessary to set all start and stop
levels.
Same distances are automatically
set between all level. Using the
AUTO-SETTINGS-MENU is possible
to check all levels.

Levels auto-scaling
WARNING:
Before opening the control box it is necessary
to turn main switch “OFF” position.
After opened, to do the adjustment it is
necessary to manually turn the main switch
“ON” poistion. In tha moment, the control
box will be electrically energized, all security
cautionsmustbe atteded. Donottouch any high
voltage electrical parts. When all adjustments
are already made you must turn the main switch
“OFF” position before closing the control box.
System adjustment

Sheet 8
ITM-0157-ED1
Current adjustment is only possible with the motor pump connected other
way a no-current motor alarm will appear. When a pump is adjusted the other
pumps must be “0” position to prevent other pumps start.
Before adjusting, the maximum position must be selected.
This must be done for each pump.
Don’t forget to turn main switch “OFF”
position before closing the control box.

Sheet 10
ITM-0157-ED1
In case of overload or phase failure in any pumps there will be a thermal trip of the pump 7 seconds
after detection.
If there is a thermal alarm in the pump, the other pump will start automatically.
If there is any alarm level, transducer fail or thermal alarm in any pump, the alarm will activate.
It is a volt-free contact output N.O. (see “Internal confi guration” section, point “I”).
If the pump is in “AUTO” the system will start the pump only one second each 23 hours of no running
time. This prevents any pump jamming during long non-activity cycles.

Problem Cause Solution
The system doesn’t work
•
and the power-on pilot light
is off while main power
supply voltage is present.
Blown control fuse.•
Wrong input connection•
Phase failure.•
Supply over-voltage.•
Replace with appropiate fuse.•
Connect accurately.•
Check phases.•
Verify voltage.•
The system is working but•
the contactor does not
activated.
Voltage selection error.• Verify voltage selection.•
Pump alarm trips.• Low overcurrent adjustment.•
Input phase failure.•
Anormal excessive motor•
consumption.
Low current consumption <0,5 A.•
Klixon input not use.•
Check motor consumption and adjust•
the current.
Check three supply phases.•
Verify pump. The pump motor is•
overloaded.
Check pump.•
Short-circuit the non used Klixon•
inputs.
Display shows “Err-SEn”
•
message. The transducer isn’t connected•
Transducer current is <2 mA.• Connect the 4-20 mAtransducer.•
Check transducer.•
