Remove the grill by turning the
locking knob
4Place the grid back on the
machine and
Attach a 35kg Safety Bond to the
reservoir of the Swirl Fan via the
safety ring and the other end to the
lighting barrel the Swil is mounted
on.
6. Connect an IEC power cable to a
240V Socket or a dimmer to control
speed and output of the unit.
5. Mount the Swirl Fan (XL) in a truss
construction and make sure the
truss clamps are connected tightly.
Connect the safety cable which is
attached to the motor to the truss.
7. When the machine is disconnected
from the power supply, and when the
blades are not turning anymore, remove
the grill to remove remaining confetti or
to refill machine.
Please ensure Locking Knob is
reattached after replacing the grill
EMPTYING / RE-FILLING
Turn off the Swirl Fan on the dimmer or by unpluging from mains supply

Fill the reservoir of the Swirl Fan
with confetti. Max fill is 3kg confetti
or snow and 4kg metallic glitter.
Make sure that the confetti stays under
the blades of the fan so the blades are
free to move.
If you overfill the unit, the blades can’t
move and the motor will be damaged.
