important information about safety, use, and disposal.
Before using the product, please familiarize yourself
with all operating and safety instructions. Please keep
all documents for future reference and pass these
documents on, together with the product, to any
future owner. Please refer to vornado.jp for the most
current version of our owner’s guide.

INTENDED USE: This product is intended to circulate
the air in indoor living spaces only. This product is not
intended for commercial or industrial uses.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for
damage caused by failure to follow these instructions
or improper product use. Any such actions will
invalidate the product warranty.
Risk of re. Your appliance (Model 683DC only/
not available in Japan) is equipped with a
detachable power supply. Use only the power
supply unit provided with the appliance.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from

- Do Not use this device if condensation is present.
If the product is brought in from the cold to a warm
area (e. g., during transport), condensation can
occur within the unit. Let the device reach room
temperature, before using it.
- Do Not use this product on wet surfaces. Do not use
this product in a bathtub, shower or locate product
where it may fall into a bathtub, laundry, swimming
pool or other water container.
- Do Not immerse this product in water or allow
water to drip into the motor housing.
- Do Not use near furnaces, replaces, stoves or
other high-temperature heat sources.
- Do Not position this product too close to draperies
or other loose fabrics as they may be drawn into the
product, cutting off airow and damaging the motor.
- Do Not carry this product by the cord, or use the

cord as a handle as it can damage internal wiring. Do
not unplug product by pulling on cord or place the
cord under strain. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the
power cord.
- Do Not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover
cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
- Do Not route cord under furniture or appliances.
Arrange cord away from trafc area and where it
will not be tripped over. To avoid a tripping hazard,
safely coil/store the power cord.
- Do Not tamper with or modify this product in any
way.
- Do Not allow the power cord to come in contact
with water or wet locations.
- Do Not place power cord near heat sources, such as
heaters or radiators.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION: Only a proper
100V~50Hz / 60Hz AC outlet may be used to connect
to public power supply.
DANGER
Risk from Electrical Shock. Contact with wires
or components that are under voltage could be
potentially fatal!
- Do Not touch the product with wet or damp hands.
- If the power cord or plug is damaged, or if the
product is damaged due to malfunction or dropping
in any manner, stop use immediately. Due to the risk
of electrical shock, all servicing requests should be
made with NF Imports.
- Do Not stretch the power cord or put the cord
under strain.
- Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply
mains before removing the guard.
- Do Not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
input or output opening as they may cause risk of
electric shock or re, or damage the product.
- Turn off all controls before unplugging. Unplug from
wall outlet if not in use for extended periods of time.
- Do Not open appliance housing while product is
plugged in. To avoid risk of shock, all service and/
or repairs must be done by a Vornado Authorized
Service Center. Only original replacement parts may
be used.
- For safety reasons, always unplug the unit in the
event of a thunderstorm.
- The model 683DC uses only the separable external
power adapter (PC3-0185) and powercords that are
included with this product.
WARNING
Risk from Improper Installation. Please take
care to follow these guidelines to avoid risks to
people or property.
- Ensure that wall power outlet is easily accessible so
unit can be disconnected during an emergency.
- To reduce the risk of re or electrical shock, do not
use this product with any external (solid state) speed
control device.
- To reduce the risk of re or electric shock and injury
to persons, do not use in a window.

Save energy by maximizing the performance of heating and cooling systems. When you use a Vornado Air Circulator, you will not have to
set your summertime thermostat as low or your wintertime thermostat as high.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
(81 - 96 CM)
1. Support the Circulator Head (G) with one hand.
Use your other hand to loosen the Adjustment
Collar (F) by gently rotating it counter-clockwise.
2. Slowly raise or lower the Pole to the desired
height and secure into position by rotating the
Adjustment Collar clockwise until tight.
Note: Before adjusting
the height or rotating
the head, check that
the power cord is not
tangled and able to
move freely.
After adjusting height,
ensure that the
Adjustment Collar is
fully tightened and
engaged to ensure
Circulator Head does
not rotate and bind
power cord.

STAND ASSEMBLY
1. Place the circulator head face down on
the ground on a soft surface.
2. The upper pole and lower pole are
pre-assembled with the Fastening Nut
(D) secured on the underside of the
base. Rotate Fastening Nut counter-
clockwise to remove and set aside.
3. Loosen the Adjustment Collar (F) by
gently rotating it counter-clockwise.
Extend the poles by 3-4 inches and
retighten collar.
4. Insert power cord (A) into the top of
Pole and pull through the bottom.
5. Push the circulator head into the pole.
Push until the Lock Release Button (B)
snaps through the Hole (C).
6. Assemble Legs onto the base of Pole
by pushing each Leg onto the grooves
(E). Replace Fastening Nut (D) by
rotating clockwise to secure all the
Legs in place.
NOTE: Do not
overtighten

1. Remove the 3 screws located in between the
ribs of the inlet grille at roughly 10, 2, and 6
o’clock positions. Screw locations are also
indicated with an arrow () on the circulator.
Do Not remove the 2 screws on the pivot
arms. Release the Front Grille Clips located at
the 2, 5, 7 and 10 o’clock positions. For more
information, please check the product page on
our website(www.vornado.jp).
2. Dust or wash Front Grille with a mild dishwash-
ing soap. Do not place grille in the dishwasher.
The excessive heat can distort the plastic.
3. To reattach - align the Front Grille Clips with
the holes and rmly snap each clip back into
place. Replace all the screws.
CLEANING

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury to persons, unplug the circulator before removing grille.

Use the brush attachment on your household
vacuum cleaner to vacuum any accumulated
dust off the Front Grille and Air Inlets.
Note: The motor
is permanently
lubricated and
requires no oiling.
CLEANING
BLADE REMOVAL Pliers recommended.
1. First, remove the nut from the shaft
by turning the nut clockwise to
loosen. Pull the blade straight out
from the shaft.
2. Wipe the Blade with a damp cloth.
If your circulator is used in a greasy
environment, such as a kitchen,
mild soap or a common household
cleaner may be necessary. Do not
use solvents. Do not place blade in
the dishwasher. The excessive heat
can distort the plastic.
3. To reattach - be certain the at
side of the shaft aligns directly with
the corresponding at side on the
blade’s socket. Push the blade all
the way on the shaft until it bottoms
out. Do not use a hammer as this
could result in bearing damage.
Reinstall nut.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury to persons, unplug the circulator before removing blade.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Model 683DC Only - Ensure the AC power cord is plugged into the power supply and ensure DC power
cord is plugged into the circulator.
Ensure unit fan speed setting is selected.
Unit is damaged or in need of repair. Cease usage and unplug. Contact Consumer Service for assistance.
The outlet is worn or damaged. Try another outlet or contact a qualied electrician.
Unit set to a low speed setting. Adjust to a higher speed setting.
Airow is blocked. Remove obstruction.
Adjust direction of airow towards the user.
The unit fails to power on.
Airow is weak or slow.

- カバーを取り外す前にスイッチを切り、プラグがコンセ

さい。電源コードを引っ張ると芯線が破損する可能性が
あります。またプラグをコンセントから抜く際は、電源コ
ードを持たず必ずプラグを持って抜いてください。
- 電源コードは、絨毯の下を這わせたりラグなどの敷物で
覆ったりしないでください。
- 家具や家電機器など重いものを電源コードの上に載せ
ないでください。電源コードにつまずくことがないように
出入りの多い場所には設置しないでください。つまずか
ないように電源コードをまとめたり収納したりしてくださ
い 。
- 本製品の分解、修理、改造は一切行わないでください。

スタンドの組み立て方
1．本体の送風面を下向きにして柔らかい
床に置いてください。
2．スタンドのポールの上部と下部はベース
の底に固定されている固定ナット(D)で
仮留めされています。固定ナットを反時
計 回りに 回して 外してください 。
3．調整ネジ(F)を反時計回りにゆっくり回
して緩め、ポールを8～10cmほど伸ばし
てから、再び 調整ネジを締めます。
4．電源コード(A)をポールの上から差し込
み、下から引き出します。
5．サ ー キュレ ー タ ー ヘッドを ポ ー ル に 差し
込みます。ロック解除ボタン(B)が穴(C)
にカチッとはまるまで深く差し込んでく
ださい。
6．それぞれの脚を溝(E)にはめ込んで、ポー
ルのベースに取り付けます。そのあと、固
定ナット(D)を元の位置に戻し、時計回り
に回して脚を所定の位置に固定します。

1. 本体背面2時/6時/10時の位置にある3つの
ネジ(右図の〇)を外してください。ネジの位置
は矢印（➡） で示されています。アーム部の2
つのネジ（右図の×）は外さないでください。2
時/5時/7時/10時の位置にある4か所の爪を
ずらすとカバーが 外 れます。
詳しくはホームページ(www.vornado.jp）の
製品情報ページをご覧ください。
2. カバーはホコリを落とすか、汚れを食器用中
性洗剤で洗ってください。食洗機に入れないで
ください。高温によりカバーが変形する可能性
があります。
3. カバーを元に戻す際には、爪を穴に合わせ、
元の位置にしっかりとはめ込みます。最後にネ
ジを締めます。
お手入れ方法
カバーの外し方（533DC/633DC/683DC日本未発売） ドライバー が 必 要 です。
警告：感電や負傷を防ぐため、カバーを取り外す前にサーキュレーターのスイッチを切り、プラグをコンセントから抜いてください。

お手入れ方法
プロペラの外し方 ペンチの使用をお勧めします。
1．まず ナットを 時 計 回りに 回 して 緩 め 、軸 か らナットを 外 し
ます。次にプロペラを軸からまっすぐ引き抜きます。
２．湿らせた布でプロペラを拭きます。キッチンなど油分の多
い環境で使用している場合は、中性洗剤または一般的な
家庭用クリーナーをご使用ください。溶剤は使用しないで
ください。また、食洗機には入れないでください。高温によ
りプロペラが変形する可能性があります。
3．プロペラを戻す際は、軸の平らな面がプロペラの軸受け
の平らな面と接していることを確認し、プロペラを奥まで
しっかり押し込みます。ベアリングが損傷する可能性があ
るため、カナヅチを使用しないでください。最 後 に ナ ッ ト
を再度取り付けます。

考えられる原因と解決方法トラブル
プラグが外れていませんか。プラグをコンセントに差し込んでください。
ACコードがアダプターに、またDCコードが本体にしっかり差し込まれていることを確認してください。（アダプタ
ーは683DCにのみ付属/日本未発売）
風量設定がオフ（〇）になっていないことを確認してください。
製品が破損し修理を要する場合は、直ちに使用を中止し、(株)エヌエフ貿易までご連絡ください。
ブレーカーが落ちていないか確認してください。その他電気配線等の故障がないかを確認し、故障している場合
には専門の業者に修理を依頼してください。
サーキュレーターの風量設定が弱く設定されていませんか。風量設定を強めてください。
空気の流れが妨げられている場合は、障害となるものを取り除いてください。
空気の流れを感じられるように本体の向きを調節してください。
