petrol pressure washer is ideal for professionals. The quality Annovi Reverberi pump, the

cleaning by tradies and residential use. Please read and understand the content of this
manual in conjunction with the engine manual for safety guidelines, start-up, shut-down,

Before starting
The pressure washer is shipped without oil. You must add an adequate amount of
engine oil before rst use. The engine will be damaged beyond repair if it’s started
without oil. For oil type, please see “Recommended Oil Type” in the engine section of
this manual. Fresh regular RON 91 fuel must be used in this unit. DO NOT use premium
or Ethanol based fuels.
Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions in this manual before
proceeding with use of the product or recommended maintenance tasks. Keep this
instruction manual for future reference.

The high-pressure jet must not be directed at persons, animals, live
electrical equipment or at the appliance itself.
The appliance must not be directly connected to the public drinking
water network.
For protection against injury, wear earmuffs and safety goggles.
Wear safety gloves during use to protect hands.
Wear non-slip footwear that will protect your feet and improve your
footing on slippery surfaces.

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
This equipment is to be only used for the purpose for which it is designed and intended.
TO AVOID DAMAGING THE PRESSURE WASHER DURING USE it is critical to adhere
to the pump precautions, engine precautions and pre-start inspection. Seek assistance if
required when moving or lifting the pressure washer.
Work area safety
• Intended for outdoor use only. DO NOT operate in conned spaces or indoors, carbon
monoxide released in the exhaust can kill.
• Do not operate in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids,
gases or dust.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a pressure washer. Distractions
can cause you to lose control.
• Beware of uneven or slippery work surfaces. Slip/Trip/Fall is a major cause of serious
injury or death
• This pressure washer is not weatherproof. Exposure to rain, damp conditions or
extreme temperature can cause damage or serious injury.
Personal safety
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a
pressure washer. Do not use a pressure washer while you are tired or under the
inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention may result in serious
personal injury.
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Wear suitable face
mask if there is a danger of inhaling mist containing hazardous material. Wear hearing
protection if working nearby to the pressure washer.
• Always wear safety apparel. Wear waterproof insulated gloves and non-slip protected
footwear or boots.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the pressure washer in unexpected situations.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties or jewellery. Keep your
hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
• Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of the pressure washer allow you to
become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause
severe injury within a fraction of a second.

• For your own safety, do not operate your pressure washer until it is completely
assembled and installed according to the instructions and until you have read and
understood all of the safety guidelines.
Pressure washer safety rules
• Do not force the pressure washer. Use the correct pressure washer for your
application. The correct pressure washer will do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it was designed.
• Do not use the pressure washer if the engine switch or trigger does not turn it on
and off. Any pressure washer that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.
• Switch off the engine, disconnect the spark plug lead and depressurise unit
before making any adjustments, service or storing pressure washers.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the pressure washer
accidentally.
• Store idle pressure washers out of the reach of children and do not allow
persons unfamiliar with the pressure washer or these instructions to operate the
pressure washer. Pressure washers are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain pressure washers and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of
moving parts, leakage of water and fuel and any other condition that may affect the
pressure washer’s operation. If damaged, have the pressure washer repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained pressure washers.
• Use the pressure washer and accessories etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to
be performed. Use of the pressure washer for operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.
• Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of
the equipment in unexpected situations.
• Do not alter or misuse the tool. These tools are precision built. Any alteration or
modication not specied is misuse and may result in dangerous conditions.
• NEVER leave running equipment unattended. Shut down before leaving worksite.
•ALWAYS release pressure at the end of use.
• NEVER move equipment by pulling the hoses.
• NEVER activate the spray gun with no nozzle in the wand. This will cause the “O”
ring to be dislodged from the coupling and the unit will not function properly.
• NEVER lock the spray gun in the on position.
• NEVER operate with the hose coiled or kinked. Ensure the hose is unwound and as
straight as possible to avoid damage to hose.

• ALWAYS spray the ground to test pressure.
• NEVER exceed the recommended pressure rating of the unit.
• NEVER change quick couplers with the nozzle under pressure & without the gun
safely in the lock position.
• NEVER spray water directly at the pressure washer.
• Locate the equipment on a solid level surface so the oil can be distributed evenly
inside the crankcase.
• PRACTICE & TEST using the pressure washer on each new material & area you
spray. The pressure washer is extremely powerful and can damage property if
untested.
• ALWAYS use the safety lock latch on the lance gun when the pressure washer is
on but not in use. This will reduce the risk of accidental discharge.
Additional hazards and risks
• Mechanical hazards. Be sure the engine is lled with oil before startup. ENSURE
hoses are connected properly before operating. BE CAREFUL not to come in contact
with the exhaust when the engine is hot, it can cause severe burns. ENSURE that the
repairs to the motor and equipment are carried out by suitably qualied personnel.
• Fire & explosion hazards. PETROL is extremely ammable and explosive under
certain conditions. ENSURE that the petrol is only stored in an approved storage
container. DO NOT refuel while it is in operation or hot. Allow engine to cool before
refueling. DO NOT refuel the motor in the vicinity of sparks, a naked ame or a person
smoking. DO NOT over ll the fuel tank and avoid spilling petrol when refueling. Spilled
petrol or petrol vapor may ignite. If spillage occurs, ensure that the area is dry before
starting the motor. ENSURE that the fuel tank cap is securely tted after refueling.
NEVER spray ammable liquid.
• Noise hazards. EXCESSIVE NOISE can lead to temporary or permanent loss of
hearing. This pressure washer can produce sounds of up to 103dBA during operation.
Ensure hearing protection is worn when in use. WEAR an approved hearing
protection device to limit noise exposure as required by Occupational Health and
Safety regulations.
• Chemical hazards. DO NOT operate or refuel a petrol motor in a conned area
without adequate ventilation. DO NOT use with toxic chemicals, only use non-?
hazardous approved cleaning agents. NEVER spray toxic, harsh acidic or alkaline
liquids.
• High pressure water hazards. High pressure can cause serious injury including
injection of water under the skin if caution is not taken. NEVER point the spray gun at
people, animals or plants. NEVER put your hands or ngers over the spray tip. NEVER
try to stop or deect leaks with your hand or body. NEVER use powder detergents or
soaps not manufactured specically for use with pressure washers.

Service
• Have your pressure washer serviced by a qualied repair person using only
factory approved replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the pressure
washer is maintained. Incorrectly tted parts will void your warranty.
• The equipment may only be used, maintained or repaired by those persons
who understand and have been instructed in the potential dangers. Independent
changes in the equipment cancel any manufacturer’s liability for any damages that
result from these changes.
Appropriate use
• Use the equipment only when it is in technically perfect condition and only for
appropriate jobs, with an awareness of safety and possible dangers, based on
observation of the operating instructions! In particular, problems which could inuence
the safety of use must be immediately dealt with!
• All of the manufacturer’s safety, work, and maintenance regulations as well as the
given norms in the Technical Data must be observed.
• Know how to stop the engine. Be thoroughly familiar with proper use of the
equipment and all controls and connections. Know how to stop the pressure washer
and depressurize system quickly if needed.
Additional precautions
Thermal protection valve
CAUTION Before any operator uses this pressure washer
they must understand the pump is tted with a
thermal protection valve.
NEVER allow the pump to run for more than a 3 minute period without operating
the gun. The thermal dump valve is fail safe and pressure will release once the
temperature exceeds the limit. This feature protects the pump from damage. It is
strongly recommended that this feature be used as an emergency safe guard only. Once
released, the pressure washer cannot be used until the thermal dump valve is replaced
by a qualied technician which will not be covered under the warranty.
• Damage caused to the pump due to excessive water temperature will void the
warranty.
• NEVER let the pump run without being connected to a water supply.

• NEVER run dirty water through the pump.
• Check the supplied inline lter is connected to the pump inlet, and that it is not clogged
and in good working condition.
• NEVER run caustic (lye) or acidic substances through the pump.
• NEVER use chemical cleaning agents that are not compatible with the Buna-N and
PVC (polyvinyl) or neoprene covering of the hose.
• NEVER run water into the machine more than 60°C .
• ENSURE the water supply into the pump is sufcient, minimum 15lt/min 20psi.
• Before starting the machine be sure the pump is primed & air is purged from the
system by allowing water to ow through the pump.
• When drawing water from a pressure source you need a hose with a 5/8”outside
diameter for lengths up to 15 metres, and 3/4” diameter for lengths up to 30 metres.
Low oil shutdown
The engine is equipped with a low oil shutdown feature and will automatically turn off if
the oil level is below the satisfactory level. This should only be used as an emergency
fail safe. Always check and top up oil to the correct level before use.
Engine precautions
• Use quality fresh Unleaded RON 91 fuel only.
• Use suitable engine oil based on engine manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Ensure oil is lled to the thread on the inlet before use.
Pump oil
• The pump is shipped with correct amount of oil already lled directly from the factory.
The oil should be good for the life of the pump and will not require topping up or
replacement under normal use. Should you need an oil replacement, please contact a
qualied service agent as the pump must be completely removed. Instruction to do this
is not provided as we do not recommend customers doing this.

Assembly
!DANGER Remove the spark plug lead/wire prior to
performing any work or assembly of this
pressure washer.
Attaching foot assembly (g. 1)
1. Raise or tilt pressure washer so you can line up foot with the hole located at the
center of the frame.
2. Align the rubber foot (Fig. 1 - 1) with the hole in the frame. Attach foot by inserting
the bolt from the bottom up, then attach the locking nut (Fig. 1 - 2). Tighten the nut
with a wrech until there is a slight crush on the frame tube.
(Do not over tighten)
Install handle (g. 2)
Install upper frame (Fig. 2 - 1) onto the lower frame
(Fig. 2 - 2) by sliding the handle over the two upright tubes on the lower frame and
pressing down rmly until the handle is seated and the two detent pins snap in place.

Attaching upper and lower gun hooks (g. 3)
1. Attach the upper gun hook (Fig. 3 - 1). Align the upper gun hook with the holes.
Attach using the included nuts and bolts.
2. Attach the lower gun hook (Fig. 3 - 2). Make sure that the gun hook is straight and
correctly aligned before tightening. Wrench tighten until the nut is snug. Do not over
tighten.
Attaching the spray gun (g. 4 & 5)
1. Screw the spray wand (Fig. 4 - 1) and the trigger handle (Fig. 4 - 2) together until
they are secure.
2. Insert the inlet coupler of the spray hose (Fig. 5 - 1) into the threaded tting on the
high pressure spray gun
(Fig. 5 - 2) and thread the black nut on by turning clockwise until it is hand tight.

Fitting the pressure release caps
To prevent oil leaks, the appliance is delivered with the oil intakes sealed with red caps
which must be replaced with the pressure release caps supplied.
Engine
!DANGER Read the operating instructions in the engine
section of this manual before start-up and
follow the safety instructions carefully.
1. Check oil level of the engine. Do not operate the pressure washer if the oil lever has
fallen below “MIN”. If required, top up oil carefully.
2. Fill the fuel tank with unleaded petrol (fresh RON91 recommended)
Water supply connection
!DANGER Only clean or ltered water should be supplied
to the appliance. The ow rate of the water inlet
tap should be equal to the pump ow rate.
1. Place the appliance as close to the water supply system as possible.
2. Connection to the mains water supply. The appliance may only be connected
directly to the mains water supply if the supply hose is tted with a backow
preventer valve as per current regulations in force. Make sure that the hose is at
least Ø 13 mm, that it is reinforced and that it is not more than 25 m long.
3. Suction of water from open containers. Screw the inlet hose with lter to the water
INLET and insert it down to the bottom of the container. Vent the air from the
appliance by unscrewing the lance then start the appliance and keep the gun open
until there are no air bubbles in the water owing out. Switch the appliance off and
screw the lance back on.
Note: The maximum suction height is 0.5 m. The suction hose should be lled before
use.

Adjustments
Pressure adjustment
The pressure on the pump is preset at its maximum operating pressure to optimize
performance and pump life. We recommend not adjusting the pressure setting. Use the
nozzles supplied to adjust the pressure.
!WARNING ALWAYS ensure the spray gun trigger is not on
when changing the nozzle. The nozzle must
‘click’ when inserted to be properly connected.
Do not twist nozzle when spraying.
Adjusting the spray nozzle
Water ow is adjusted by regulating the nozzle. Your pressure washer comes in 5
different colour coded quick connect nozzles that provide spray widths from 0°, 15°, 25°,
40° & a chemical (soap) nozzle. You can simply adjust the spray pattern & pressure by
selecting a different nozzle.
Red Nozzle = 0°
The highest pressure nozzle producing a pencil point pattern with no fan coverage. Ideal
for aggressive cleaning such as removing caked mud from equipment, removing stains
from concrete, steel & aluminium. Not recommended for decks, painted surfaces & cars.
Orange/Yellow Nozzle = 15°
Referred to as a chiseling tip. Narrow fan for high performance. Held at a 45° angle
to the work area it can be used as a chisel or scraper to remove dirt & debris such as
peeled paint or mildew.
Green Nozzle = 25°
Known as the wash tip it has a medium fan for multi-purpose application. It delivers
medium impact pressure and cleaning coverage.
White Nozzle = 40°
With the largest fan area it delivers relatively low pressure ideal for delicate surfaces.
Ideal for washing & rinsing large areas or washing vehicles.
Black Soap Nozzle
This tip is used for chemical / detergent application. It is the lowest pressure nozzle
creating the largest orice.

Operation
Pre-operation check
For your safety, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations in Australia, and to
maximize the service life of your equipment, it is very important to take a few moments
before you operate the pressure washer to check its condition. Be sure to take care of
any problem you nd, or have your servicing dealer correct it, before you operate the
engine.
The following pre-start-up inspection must be performed before the start of each work
session and after every four hours of use. If any fault is discovered, the pressure washer
must not be used until the fault is rectied.
1. Thoroughly inspect the pressure washer for signs of damage. Check components are
present and secure.
2. Check for damage, kinks or twists in all lines and hoses before each use. Replace
any damaged hoses.
3. Check the ENGINE oil level and top up if necessary.
4. Check the FUEL level and top up if necessary.
5. Check for fuel and oil leaks.
6. Check the pressure washer is connected to an appropriate water supply - minimum
ow 15lt/min 20psi.
7. Check & tighten all connections.
8. Check the pump is primed & air is purged from lines by squeezing the spray gun
trigger allowing water to ow through the pump. YOU WILL DAMAGE THE PUMP IF
THIS STEP IS NOT PERFORMED BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE.
Pressure washer start up
!WARNING Before starting up the pressure washer check
that it is receiving water correctly; use of the
appliance without water will damage it. Do not
cover the ventilation grilles when the pressure
washer is in use.
Running the pump dry will cause damage and
void the warranty.
1. Turn on the water supply tap fully.

2. Release the safety catch on the gun
3. Squeeze the gun trigger to purge the air for a few seconds and start the engine
according to the operating instructions of the engine manufacturer.
Engine start up
!WARNING During operation the pressure washer must be
positioned on a rm, stable surface.
Start the engine and follow all safety precautions according to the operating instructions
of the engine section in this manual.
Recommended cleaning procedure
1. Hold the spray gun rmly with two hands and a sturdy stance -- Gun kicks back when
triggered.
2. Dissolve dirt by applying the detergent mixed with water to the surface while still dry.
When dealing with vertical surfaces work from the bottom upwards.
3. Leave the detergent to act for 1-2 minutes but do not allow the surface to dry. Starting
from the bottom, use the high pressure jet at a minimum distance of 30 cm. Do not
allow the rinse water to run onto unwashed surfaces.
4. In some cases, scrubbing with brushes is needed to remove dirt. High pressure is not
always the best solution for good cleaning results, since it may damage some
surfaces. The nest adjustable nozzle jet should not be used on delicate or painted
parts, or on pressurised components (e.g. tyres, ination valves, etc.).
5. Effective cleaning depends on both the pressure and volume of the water used, to
the same degree.
6. When not spraying, use the spray gun safety catch/safety lock to prevent accidental
high pressure discharge.
Stop the engine
!WARNING During operation the pressure washer must be
positioned on a rm, stable surface.
Stop the engine according to the operating instructions in the engine section of this
manual.
1. Run unit with clean water only to purge any chemical or detergent solution in the line.
2. To stop the engine, set the throttle to idle and turn the engine ON/OFF switch to the
“OFF” position.

3. Turn the fuel off according to the engine section of this manual.
4. Squeeze trigger to relieve pressure from lines & pump.
5. Turn water supply off & disconnect.
Chemical and detergent application
1. Fill detergent tank with appropriate detergent suitable for your applications. Follow
instruction and safety guidelines set out in detergent manufacturer’s manual.
2. To deliver the detergent at the correct pressure, t black chem/soap nozzle to the
lance. Be sure the pressure washer is off when switching the nozzles.
3. Connect the detergent bottle to the pump with the hose via the detergent inlet on the
top of the pump.
!WARNING To prevent accidental starting that could cause
serious personal injury, always switch off the
engine and disconnect the spark plug wire/lead
before carrying out maintenance work.
Regular maintenance will improve the performance and extend the life of the pressure
washer. Failure to maintain the machine in line with the services outlined in the manual
will invalidate warranty. High pressure accessories carry a 3 month warranty. The
pressure washer’s warranty does not cover items that have been subjected to operator
abuse or negligence. To receive full value from the warranty, the operator must maintain
the pressure washer as instructed in this manual, including proper storage as detailed in
“Storage” section below.
All maintenance tasks must be performed with the engine and water supply shut off.
