FAQ & Troubleshooting
A) “Dolby Digital” means Dolby Digital which supports up to 5.1 channels (center,
front left, front right, subwoofer, rear left, rear right) of discrete surround sound.
When the sources (movie, music or game) outputs a Dolby Digital bitstream, the AON
decoder detects this and reproduces the sound through the six speakers of the AON
headphones.
A) “PL” means Dolby Pro Logic, which decodes a 2-channel signal into 4 channels.
(center, front left, front right, rear). When the source is 2-channel, the AON decoder
uses Dolby Pro Logic to expand the sound to play through the four speakers of the
AON headphone. A two-channel Dolby Digital bitstream can also be expanded to four
channels using Dolby Pro Logic.
A) The status LED’s on the front panel show which type of decoding is active.
