Mount th adapt r on th cantil v r umbr lla bas plat as d scrib d in th ass mbly instructions
"Scr w-on sl v for cantil v r umbr lla."
R mov th cantil v r umbr lla from its packaging and plac it on th adapt r. (Umbr lla canopy must
b on th sam sid as th adapt r foot p dal).
Scr w th umbr lla pol to th adapt r using th 2 cylind r h ad scr ws. You will n d th 6 mm All n
k y to do this.
Now fit th crank m chanism and tight n with th 2.5 mm All n k y.
Putting up the um rella:
St p 1: R l as th hand wh l at th umbr lla pol .
St p 2: Crank th umbr lla canopy into xt nd d position.
(Th locking slid automatically mov s upward as you do so).
St p 3: S t th umbr lla canopy to th d sir d angl and lock th hand wh l in position.
Th umbr lla can b rotat d around its own axis using th adapt r foot p dal.

M8x25 mm (or alt rnativ ly 4 x count rsunk scr w M8x20 mm, includ d with th cantil v r
umbr lla), 4 x wash r, 4 x snap ring, 4 x nut, 4 x flang sl v , 4 x flat-h ad scr w M10x60 mm,
1 x 5 mm All n k y
You will also n d th following from th cantilever um rella packaging: 1 x adapt r, 1 x 6 mm
All n k y
Scr w th adapt r plat to th adapt r using th 4 count rsunk scr ws (M8x25 mm or M8x20 mm)
and tight n using th 5 mm All n k y.
R mov th slid prot ction (wood n strips) from on sid of th pall t.
and s t th bas plat up.
Now plac on flang sl v in ach of th 4 hol s.
On th front sid of th bas plat , align th hol s in th adapt r plat with th bor hol s in th
granit plat and ins rt th flat-h ad scr ws (4 x M10x60 mm).
Plac a wash r follow d by a snap ring on th back of ach scr w and s cur with a nut.
Using th 6 mm All n k y, tight n all scr ws, holding th nuts on th back in position with a
17 mm offs t box wr nch as you do so.
Now put th bas plat in its final position. You can comp nsat for minor un v nn ss in th
subsurfac by scr wing th adjusting scr ws in or out, thus nsuring that th umbr lla is standing
firmly. To do this, you will n d a 17 mm op n- nd d wr nch.
