General Characteristics
Terminal strips: they allow to connect the control panel with the unit and with power supply.
Heating unit with self-adjusting carter, guaranteeing constant temperature at the compressor base, especially
during winter, thus preventing the refrigeration gas to contaminate with oil and avoiding the migration of oil into
the refrigeration circuit.
Electronic Speed Control (CVTR). It adjusts the speed of the condenser motor. A sensor located in the
condenser coils detects the gas temperature and keeps pressure stable when the unit works under low
outdoor temperatures.
Dehydrating filter. First quality molecular sieve type, preventing humidity or impurities to get into the
refrigeration circuit.
Washable air filter cartridges.
Cabinet made of galvanized and pre-painted steel sheet, assuring a long, maintenance-free life.
High-efficiency hermetically-sealed compressor, designed for continuous operation.
Electric motors, especially designed for continuous operation.
High- and low-pressure pressure switches protect the system against gas leaks, clogged filters or coils, burnt
motors, etc, thus insuring long system life.
Electrical resistors for heating, located in accesible places.
Bronze valves for gas charge or pressure measurement, located in accesible places and easy to operate, thus
simplifying inspection or maintenance.
Evaporation and condensation coils, built with aluminum fins and mechanically expanded copper tubes, which
insure efficient heat transfer even in extreme conditions.
Fans. High efficiency centrifugal type for the evaporator. Low noise axial type for the condenser
Economizer: The economizer system starts working when the outdoor temperature falls below 12°C. Then the
external thermostat cancels the control signal to the compressor and triggers the opening of a motor-driven
blind which lets outdoor air into the room, thus lowering the temperature to the desired value, as controlled by
the sequencing unit.
When the temperature reaches the desired value, the blind is closed and the air conditioner remains in
ventilation mode. If the outdoor temperature rises above 12°C, the blind is closed and the compressor is
started up, as long as the room temperature so requires.
