on therating plate).Thisnaturalgas isenvironmentallyfriendlybutitisalso
combustible.Whentransporting and installingtheunitcaremustbetaken toensure
thatnoneoftherefrigerationcircuit componentsbecomedamaged.Intheeventof
damage avoidnakedflames orignitionsources andventilatetheroominwhichthe
unitisplaced.
Warning: Keepventilation openingsinapplianceenclosure,as perinstructionsfor
buildingin,clearofobstruction.
•Donotusemechanicaldevices orotherartificialmeans toacceleratethedefrosting
process.
•Donotuseelectricalappliancesinsidetheunit.
•Ifthisunitistoreplaceanappliancewithalock;break orremove thelockasasafety

SwitchingOntheAppliance
•Beforeswitching on,placetheapplianceinanuprightposition
andwaitatleastthreehourswithoutmoving theappliance. This
will givethe refrigerantcircuittimetosettleand operate
efficiently.
•Cleantheappliance thoroughly,especiallytheinterior,before
use(SeeCleaningandMaintenance).
•Installation oftheappliance andelectricalconnectionsmustbe
carriedoutbyaqualifiedtechnician,inaccordancewiththe
Installation Manualand localregulations.
•Theprocedureforinstallingtheapplianceintothekitchen unit
isgiveninthe InstallationManual.Thisproductisintendedto
be usedinproperkitchenunitsonly.
•Theappliancemustbe connectedwithaproperlyinstalled, fused
socket.Thepowersupply(AC)andvoltageatthesocketmust
match withthedetailson theratingplateoftheappliance.(this
islocatedontheinside leftoftheappliance)
•Insert theplugintoasocketwithanefficientearthconnection.If
thesockethas noearthcontactortheplugdoes notmatch,we
recommendthatyoucallan authorizedelectricianfor
assistance.
•The manufacturerisnotresponsibleforfailuretocompletetheearthconnection as
describedinthisbooklet.
•Therecan be an odourwhenyoufirstswitchontheappliance.Thiswilldisappear
once theappliancestartstocool.

Thefreezerthermostatautomaticallyregulatestheinsidetemperatureofthe
compartments.Byrotating theknob fromposition 1to5,coldertemperatures canbe
obtained.“0”positionshowsthatthethermostatisswitchedoff and no coolingisavailable.
FreezerThermostatSetting;
0: Theapplianceisswitchedoff.
1-2: Forshort-termstorage offoodinthefreezercompartment.
3-4: Forlong-termstorage offoodinthefreezercompartment.
5: Forfreezingfreshfood.
SF: Thecompressorwillstarttoruncontinuouslywithmaximumperformance.The
freezertemperaturewill decrease and theappliancewillswitch tothelowest
temperature.Placethe foodtobe frozen quicklyinsidethefreezer,preferablyin
themiddledrawers.Oncethefoodisfrozen,youmustsetthe thermostatknob
todesired position.
Note1; Observethattheorangelampwilllight whenthecompressorruns.SowhenSF is
active,the compressorwill run continuouslyand the lampwill lightcontinuously.
Note2; Theambienttemperature,temperatureofthefreshlystored foodandhowoften
thedoorisopened,affectsthe temperatureinthefreezercompartments.If
required,changethetemperaturesetting.
Display Panel
Compressorlight: Lightsorange,whenthe compressorruns.InSFmode,it will light
continuously.
Powerlight: Lightsgreenautomatically,when theappliance isconnectedtothepower
supply.
Alarmlight: Lightsred,when thetemperaturerisestoacriticalpointinsidethefreeze.

•The freezer isusedforfreezingfreshfoodsand forstoringfrozenfoodsfor theperiod
oftime indicatedonthepackaging,andformaking icecubes.
•Forfreezing freshfood;wrapandsealfreshfoodproperly,that isthepackaging
shouldbe airtightandshouldn’tleak. Special freezerbags,aluminumfoil (heavy
grade, in doubt doublewrap), polythenebags andplasticcontainers are ideal.
•Foroptimumapplianceperformancetoreachmaximumfreezingcapacity,turnknob
tothefastfreeze(SF)positionwhen placing freshfoodinthe freezer.
•After placingfreshfood inthefreezer,24 hours on fast freeze functionis generally
sufficientafter 24 hours,deactivatethefastfreezefunction.
•Attention;Inorderto saveenergy,Whenfreezing smallamounts offood,thefast
freeze functioncanbe deactivated.
•Do notallowthefresh food tobefrozentocomeintocontactwith the already frozen
food.
•Alwaysmarkthedate andthe contentonthepackanddo notexceed the stated
storage time.
•In case of apower failure or malfunction,thefreezer compartmentwill maintain a
sufficientlylowtemperature forfood storage.However,avoidopeningthefreezer
doorto slow down thetemperaturerisewithinthefreezer compartment.
•The maximumamount offresh foodsthatcanbeloaded inthe freezer within24
hours is indicatedonthenameplate(see FreezingCapacity).
•Neverplacewarmfoodinthe freezer compartment.
•Whenpurchasing andstoring frozen foodproducts;ensurethatthe packagingis not
damaged.
•Thestoragetime andtherecommendedtemperature for storing frozenfoods are
indicatedon thepackaging.For storing and using,follow themanufacturer’s
instructions.Ifno information isprovided,foodshouldnotbestoredformorethan3
months.
•Placefrozenfood inthefreezercompartmentassoon aspossible afterbuying it.
•Once thefood isthawed, it mustnotbe refrozen;youmustcook itas quicklyas
possibleinordertoconsumeor tofreezeonceagain.
•Whenmaking icecubes,filltheicetraywithwaterand placethe infreezercompart-
ment. After thewatercompletely turned intoice, youcantwist thetray asshown
below to theicecube.
Storage: If youwant to use themaximumnetcapacity,youcan remove thedrawers
and store theitemsdirectly onthe cooling tubes.Thiswill enable youto makeuseofthe
entirevolumeofthecompartment.

•Disconnecttheappliancefromthepowersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donotpourwaterovertheappliance.
•Cleanthe accessoriesseparatelywithsoapandwater.Do
notputtheminthedishwasher.
•Donotuse abrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps.After
washing,rinse withcleanwaterand drycarefully.Whenthe
cleaning operationshave beencompleted,reconnectthe
plug withdryhands.
DefrostingtheFreezer
WARNING: Neveruse sharpmetaltools,forthisoperationastheycan damagethe
refrigeration circuit.
Afteraperiodoftime,frostwillbuildupincertainareasinthefreezercompartment.
Thefrost, accumulatedinthefreezer,shouldberemovedperiodically(use theplastic
scraperifavailable).
Completedefrostingwillbecomenecessaryifthefrostlayerexceeds 3-5mmto
maintaintheefficiencyofthe freezer.
•Thedaybeforeyou defrost,setthethermostatdialtoposition “5”tofreeze the foods
completely.
•Duringdefrosting,frozenfoods shouldbe wrappedinseverallayersofpaperand
keptinacoolplace.Theinevitablerise intemperaturewillshortentheirstorage life.
Remembertousethesefoods withinarelativelyshortperiodoftime.
•Setthe thermostatknob toposition“0”and switchofftheappliance.
•Leavethedooropentoacceleratedefrosting.Removethedefrostwaterfromthe
compartment.

Ifthereisdefrostwateron the freezerfloor,you canclearitaway byusing asponge.
•Clean theinteriorbyhand withlukewarmwaterand alittledetergent.
Neveruseabrasive productsoraggressive cleaningagents.
•Drytheinside oftheunit, plug on the mains,andsetthe thermostatknob
toposition “5”.After24 hours,resetthe thermostattothedesiredposition.
PART5.
Ifyourfreezerisnotworking properly,itmaybeaminorproblem,thereforecheck the
following.
Theappliancedoes notoperate,

•Thereisapowerfailure,
•Themainsplugisnotproperlypluggedin,orisloose
•The thermostatsettingisonposition“0”,
•Thesocketisdefective. Tocheck this,plug inanotherappliancethatyou knowwhich
isworkingintothesamesocket.
Theapplianceperformspoorly;
Check if;
•You have overloaded theappliance,
•The doorsarenotclosed perfectly,
•Therearenotenough ventilation ductson thekitchenunitas mentionedinthe
Installation Manual.

Ifthereisnoise;
Thecoolinggas which circulates intherefrigeratorcircuitmaymake aslightnoise
(bubblingsound)even whenthecompressorisnotrunning.Donotworry,thisisquite
normal.Ifthesesoundsaredifferentcheckif;
