Air Vent Cleaning

Why clean the air vents? Neglecting to clean the air vents results in
soil build up in and around the motor cooling ribs. Reduced air flow
creates excess heat buildup, leading to motor failure.

Place TRIO on work bench.

Disconnect power supply.

1.) Depress Foot pedal & move lower
handle assembly to run position.
2.) Remove the side cover screws.

Remove side cover and vacuum thoroughly.

Remove the 3 diverter cone nuts.

Remove the cone and wipe clean.

Vacuum area behind the cone, be sure vacuum motor fan blades.

When replacing the diverter note placement of the small indent.

Vacuum inside of side cover assembly. Remove all loose soil.

Vacuum the side cover vent openings.

Replace side cover assembly.
