Assembly Procedure:
- Prior to assembling each wooden part, liberally apply the Wood Glue from the supplied bottle (o1) to both wooden
parts. After assembly (and before glue dries) wipe off any excess glue. While not absolutely necessary, the glue will
add additional strength to each joint, and is recommended.

little one years of enjoyment! Please first be sure
you have all the necessary components listed on
page 2. We suggest that you lay them all out on
the carpet before assembling. If for any reason
you think a component may be missing, please
contact our customer service team. Please read
the General Safety Instructions and Assembly
Procedure below before beginning assembly.
General Safety Instructions
- Your bench is safety tested for all ages, however it is recommended that caution be used at all times.
- This item is recommended for children up to 100 lbs.
- This item must be assembled by an adult. Please do not leave any spare parts near children.
- CAUTION: Although a safety hinge is installed, be careful when opening and closing the lid to avoid injury to small
children.
Tools You Will Need
- Standard Phillips Head Screwdriver. CAUTION: It is highly recommended that you not use power tools or electric
screwdrivers as screws should not be over-tightened.
Care Instructions:
- We recommend this item be wiped down with a non-bleach wipe.

1. Place Toy Box Lid (H) on the floor with the design facing up.
2. Insert the posts on the Seat Back (D) into the pre-drilled holes on the Toy Box Lid (H).
3. Insert machine screw (s3) through spring washer (w4) and small washer (w3) and tighten securely.
4. Insert machine screw (s4) into pre-drilled holes on
the back board (G) and secure the safety hinge by
tightening the screw.
5. Please see Figure 2 for proper alignment and
positioning of the safety hinge (I).

6. Remove the protective plastic strap from
the box lid and gently raise the hinged Lid (H)
until it comes in contact with the Seat Back
(D). Do not let the Lid (H) hit hard against the
Seat Back (D) because it may scratch or
damage it.
7. Lay the toy box lid assembly on a soft
surface with the seat back resting on the
floor. Place the Right Side Board (B) next to
the pre-drilled holes on the toy box lid.
8. Insert the 1” machine screw (s3) through
the spring washers (w4) and small washer
(w3) and tighten securely.
9. Repeat the procedure to assemble Left
Side Board (C).
10. Place the back board (G) on the assembly. Insert 1” machine screw (s3) through the spring
washers (w4) small washers (w3) and tighten securely into all pre-drilled holes.

11. Be sure Lid (H) is laying flat against the
Seat Back (D). Insert 1/2” machine screw (s5)
into pre-drilled holes on the Safety Hinge (I).
12. Tighten screws securely. If the safety
hinge (I) is not connected to the lid, the lid
will fall by itself and may cause a danger to
children. After the safety hinge is assembled,
the lid will not fall by itself when it is opened.
13. Apply glue (o1) to the pre-drilled holes
on both ends of arm rests.
14. Align each Arm Rest (EL and ER) with
the pre-drilled holes on the Toy Box Lid (H)
and Seat Back (D).
15. Insert 1” machine screw (s3) through
spring washer (w4) and small washer (w3)
and tighten securely to attach each arm
rest to Lid (H).
16. Insert 1- 3/4” machine screw (s1)
through spring washer (w4) and small
washer (w3) and securely tighten to attach
each arm rest to Seat Back (D).

17. Line up the Front Board (F) with the
assembly. The thicker side should be on the
bottom.
18. Insert the 1” machine screw (s3) through
the spring washer (w4) and small washer
(w3) and tighten securely into all pre-drilled
holes.
19. Flip assembly so Seat Back (D) is resting
on floor as shown in Figure 8.
20. Attach the Base Board (A) to the
assembly.
21. Insert 1” machine screw (s3) through
spring washer (w4) and small washer (w3)
and tighten securely into all pre-drilled
holes.
22. Your storage bench assembly is
complete! Turn the bench over into an
upright position, and enjoy!
