THERE ARE TWO OPERATING MODES TO CHOOSE FROM:
1. HORN MOMENTARY MODE: When the remote’s push button is pressed, it will illuminate blue, to advise
that a coded signal is being wirelessly transmitted to the receiver. The receiver will then turn on and power
the horn until the remote’s push button is released. Press the remote’s button switch, the horn will sound;
release button switch and the horn will turn off.
2. ACCESSORY ON / OFF MODE: When the remote’s push button is pressed, it will illuminate blue, to advise
that a coded signal is being wirelessly transmitted to the receiver. The receiver will then turn on and power
the accessory. The accessory will remain powered until the remote’s push button is pressed and released
a second time. Press and release the remote’s button switch, turn on the accessory. Press and release the
remote’s button switch a second time and the accessory will turn off.
Before installation of the Wireless Wizard is attempted, it is important to read these instructions completely and
note any messages marked “IMPORTANT”.

3. Open the battery compartment by pushing downward on the cover. Insert
the battery provided. IMPORTANT: Position the battery as illustrated by
the diagram inside the battery compartment.
4. Press the remote’s button switch and it will illuminate blue. If the button
does not illuminate, remove the battery and reverse the direction.
5. Slide the battery cover back into position. The remote control transmitter
is now ready to be mounted. Locate a flat surface that can easily be
reached. IMPORTANT: Always carefully inspect mounting location to
ensure that it will not interfere with the air bags, vehicle’s operation,
or impair the driver’s vision. Consult the vehicle’s shop manual or
dealer if the installer is not familiar with the deployment area of the air
bags.
6. IMPORTANT: Never mount the remote transmitter on the steering wheel.
Doing such could cause injury or death if the air bag is deployed.
7. Using the Velcro®tape provided, mount the remote control transmitter to the desired location. Make sure
that mounting surface is free from dust, wax, oil and etc. A clean mounting surface is necessary for the tape
to adhere properly.
IMPORTANT: THE TAPE’S ADHESIVE HOLDING POWER BECOMES MAXIMUM IN 24 HOURS. LIMIT
MOVING OR PUTTING PRESSURE ONTO THE REMOTE TRANSMITTER UNTIL THEN.

8. Locate the desired mounting location for the receiver, which should be in
close proximity to the horn, or the accessory that the Wireless Wizard will
control.
IMPORTANT: The receiver should always be mounted in a dry location.
If mounted in the engine compartment, make sure it is safe from engine
exhaust heat and moving parts.
9. Using the receiver’s base as a template; mark two hole locations and drill
to size, 1/8.
10. Mount and secure the receiver using the screws provided.

IMPORTANT: The Wizards POWER OUT wires are extended
from the back of the receiver case. Please note, the case has
been clearly marked above the wires:
• POWER OUT TO HORN OR ACCESSORY– RED & BLACK
wires will be connected to device you want to turn on/off,
horn or accessory.
11. RED WIRE FROM WIZARD’S POWER OUT PORT:
Connects to the device’s (+) terminal or post (Fig 3).
IMPORTANT: some devices such as replacement horns
do not have polarity markings such as: (+) positive or (-)
negative. For such devices, the red wire can be connected to
either terminal (Fig.4 or Fig. 5).
12. BLACK WIRE FROM POWER OUT PORT: Connects to
the device’s (-) terminal or post (Fig.3). IMPORTANT: some
devices such as replacement horns do not have polarity
markings such as: (+) positive or (-) negative. For such
devices, the black wire can be connected to either terminal
(Fig. 4 or Fig. 5).

IMPORTANT: The Wizards POWER IN wires are extended from the back of the receiver case. Please note,
the case has been clearly marked above the wires. Always make sure that the power connection point can
handle the current load of the device being powered.
• POWER IN 12-VOLT – RED &
BLACK wires will be connected to
12-volt power source, such as the
vehicle’s battery.
13. BLACK WIRE FROM WIZARD’S
POWER IN PORT: Connect to ground
by securing wire under any metal body
bolt or the negative (-) battery post.
Make sure that the METAL surface
around the bolt securing the wire is
clean of rust, oxidation and paint to make a good electrical connection.
14. RED WIRE FROM WIZARD’S POWER IN PORT: Connect to positive (+) 12-volts such as the fuse block
or the positive (+) battery post. Always use the provided inline fuse. IMPORTANT: The fuse should never
be more then ten (10) inches from the power source. Make sure the connection is at a location free from
corrosion or oxidation.

15. FUSE SELECTION: The Wireless Wizard comes with three popular Type ATC blade fuses to choose from:
15, 20 and 25-amp. Check the manual of the device that the Wireless Wizard will be powering to find the
manufacturer’s recommended fuse size. Install the recommended fuse into the fuse holder. The Wireless
Wizard comes with the 20-amp fuse factory installed in the fuse holder. IMPORTANT: Use only ATC Type
fuses.
16. If you need to lengthen any wires use 18 gauge or heaver wire. To ensure dependable service and to
prevent shorts, make sure all wire connections are made using terminals and secured with electrical tape.
PROGRAMING REMOTE TRANSMITTER & RECEIVER: Fig. 7
The Wireless Wizard uses self-learning technology to identify the remote’s coded radio signal. When
programming is completed, the receiver will lock the coded signal into its memory, and then will only be
controlled with the your remote. IMPORTANT: You will need to program the Wizard (steps 17-19) the first time
being used, if the Wizard is electrically disconnected from the vehicle’s power source or if you change the
transmitter.
17. Locate the programming button on the side of the remote transmitter.
18. Press and hold the programming button, the push button with the Wolo
name will illuminate blue and flash. After 3 flashes release the
programming button.
19. The Wireless Wizard has been successfully programmed and it is now
ready to use.
OPERATION
20. Position the switch on the front of the receiver to either ACCESSORY ON /OFF or HORN MOMENTARY.
20A. HORN MOMENTARY: The horn will turn on when the remote’s large push button is pressed. When the
remote’s push button is release, the horn will turn off.
20B. ACCESSORY ON: The accessory will turn on and stay on when the remote’s push button is pressed and
released. To turn off accessory, press and release the remote’s push button.
21. The fuse located on back panel of the receiver protects the Wireless Wizards electronic circuit. Replace
only with a 1-amp type GMA.

Warranty
Wolo Manufacturing Corporation (“Wolo”) warranties to the original purchaser, for three months from the
date of purchase, that this product is free from defects in workmanship and materials. If there is such a
proven defect, Wolo, at its option, will either repair or replace the item free of charge, if it is returned to
Wolo within three months from the date of purchase together with proof of purchase as described below.
Wolo reserves the right to inspect any defect prior to settling any warranty claim by repair or replacement.
This warranty is limited as above provided and Wolo will not be responsible for fire or other casualty
or accident, due to neglect, abuse, abnormal use, modifications, faulty installation of this product, or
natural causes.
