brokerage by careless handling and force majeure in transportation, please call to our
customer center or sales representatives.
C. Quality Inspection
① Check out the clarity of object through eyeglass lens.
②Check out the clarity of object through telescope lens.
③Check if the Working distance through telescope is similar to wanted working distance.
④If any defect or damage is found, contact the Sales representative or customer center.
4. Adjustment
A. Adjustment of TTL type before use
1) Lever frame
① Check if your eyeglass rim are level with your eyes by adjusting the nose pad & frame
temples through a mirror to feel comfortable.
② Normally, take the telescope on and maintain 1~3mm gap between the top frame of
telescope and the lower eyelid as follows.
③ When placing the telescope on and looking at your side face, align your pupil’visual angle
with telescope’ declination angle at working distance.
④Your optician is best suitable to make such adjustments for you.
2) Checking Working distance
1~3mm

①Images of object located at your working distance and through your telescopes should
converge within one circle.
② If the Working distance through telescope is too short or long to use it, call technical
support.

3) Checking the pupil height and Adjusting
① When you check Working Distance (WD) and don’t see clearly the object around your
working distance, adjust the nose pad & frame temples to align your pupil’s visual angle
with telescope’s declination angle and to make it clear.
② Lift the frame to raise the axis of telescope lens for fitting if the upper image of field is
blurred or vignetted through telescope. If the lower image has such problem, lower the
frame and the axis.
③ When you lift the frame to raise the axis and to get clear image, squeeze the nose pad or
bend the end-pieces of temple arms downward and recheck the image.

B. Adjustment of Flip-Up type before use
1) Replacement of Eyeglass lens
- If you use any eyeglass when observing the objects located at the distance corresponding
to the Working Distance (in case of the presbyopia, myopia and/or astigmatism), then you
must replace the dummy eyeglass lens (already installed) in the product with your
prescribed eyeglass lens. When replacing with the prescribed eyeglass lens, the flip-up
system shall be separated first, and fabricated again after replacing the eyeglass lens.

After the adjustment
②Please adjust the nose pad and end-pieces of temple arms in order to feel comfortable
when placing the telescopes on your face.
3) Adjustment of the distance between the pupils
①Please turn the PD adjusting knob slowly until you see each ocular’s field of view
converging to one circle while looking at the one object located at the position
corresponding to your Working Distance.

②If several users are not involved (if your
telescopes is not adjusted for anyone else), it
is convenient to set locking screw for
adjustment stability.
③Please grip the PD adjusting knob (part B) and

driver at the screw groove(part A).
Caution: Do not overtighten the screw and knob as will wear out.
4) Adjustment of the pupil height
①Please place the Flip-Up telescope after the oculars should be in contact with eyeglass
lens or closely.
②Please check the clarity of vision by the object located at the WD (working distance).
③ Please adjust in the manner that the nose pad can be narrowed and/or temple arm can be
descended downward if the upper end part of the observed visual field through the
telescope is unclear, or spread the nose pad and/or fit the temple arm upward if the
lower end part is unclear.

5. Operating Instruction
A. After adjustment, take and use the surgical telescope. Some professionals with telescope
experience should use the telescope full-time, but most of first users could have experience
of such disorientation normally and require a break-in period. Depending on the
magnification level of telescope or personality, the break-in period should differ and does not
last more than two to three weeks normally. You had better to increase gradually the time of
daily use.

damage.
C. Use carefully because scratching and contamination can cause deteriorate the optical
quality and function.
D. Call the local sales representatives or customer center if you have difficulty or problem by
changes of working distance & eyesight.
E. Do not repair your telescope by unauthorized technician and not use it temporarily when
eyeglass lens or telescope lens is broken. It can cause headache and deteriorating eyesight
by misalignment of pupil with telescope lens. Call the local sales representatives to repair our
telescope
F. Do not walk around with the telescopes on, be sure to take them off or flip up when walking
