Usage and Maintenance of Disc
This unit is compatible with the following disc formats:

Disc features
Different discs contains different feature combinations. The difference is mainly due to the design coding division and
manufacturer of the disc.The icons provided above represent some features of common discs.
Note: Certain functions of this device need to be supported by the disc. If the disc doesn’t support these functions or a special
setting is required, the functions may not be usable. Please check these functions before playing the disc or follow the tips
displayed on screen. If the disc is contaminated or damaged, sound skipping may occur. To optimize the sound effect, follow
these steps:

MCU update method
Method 1: Button update method
1. Preparations before update: power off, copy unzipped
update file (suffix.img) to U-disk or SD card (insert in GPS
slot), insert storage device (U-disk or SD card) with update
file into unit.
2. Press start button for a while and then power on at the
same time. Release buttons after 3s and then press again
for a short time.
3. Update interface appears after 30s.
4. Press start button or rotate volume button for a short
time, choose Update system/MCU from SD card (if update
file in the GPS slot) OR Update system/MCU from USB (if
update file in USB slot).
5. Press start button for a while to start update after
selection.
6. When progress bar runs out: restart unit to successfully
complete the update.
Method 2: Boot state update method
1. Preparations before update: power off, copy unzipped
update file (suffix.img) to U-disk or SD card (insert in GPS
slot), insert storage device (U-disk or SD card) with
update file into unit.
2. Select settings icon, click settings, enter settings
interface.
3. Slide option to the end in the settings interface, choose
“About this machine”.
4. Click option bar: system update.
5. After clicking system update, a pop-up dialog will appear.
6. Click “Installation”, restart unit, enter into update
Interface. The system will start the update automatically.
7. Wait two to three minutes for the update, re-start the unit
to complete the update.
Caution: turn off the power and note that other operations
are prohibited during update. Otherwise the unit will crash.
If you cannot enter into the update state, please try another
USB or TF port after checking that there is no problem with
the USB/SD and update file
.
Steering wheel button settings
1. At the Ul main interface, click “ ”, and then click “ " to enter steering wheel settings
interface
2. First press “ ” button to clear previous data
3. Press any button on steering wheel, then find the corresponding icon on the left side list (see picture
2 below) of the device, select OK, finished button will be displayed on this interface (see picture 3
below). Repeat the same procedure for others settings.
4. After completing the setting process, please press “ ” button to save settings
5. If an error occurs in the process and needs to be reset, please repeat steps 2-4.
**This operation is for Universal Aftermarket SWC setting. For models with a CANBUS do not require
settings for the steering wheel Setting.
Note: Please make sure the “key cable” and “SWC” cable are connected properly, as shown below.
Two SWC cable should be connected to the anode of the steering wheel button cable, GND to cathode.

This device will enter the main
interface every time when started. The
interface can be swiped to the left and
right. You can also press the upper left
corner in any state to switch to the
main interface directly.

3. DVD Function(only for with DVD models)
In the main interface or other modes, place disc into the disc port. It will be drawn into the device
automatically and the DVD player interface will also be started automatically to begin disc playback

4. Radio Function
In other modes press the BAND button on the panel or click radio in the main menu to enter the radio
mode.
1) Short press search to move forward 0.1 M, long press forward to receive a radio station;
2) Short press to move backward 0.1 M, long press backward to receive a radio station;
3) Press one time to enter automatic radio station search mode, press again to stop automatic search;
4) Stereo on
5) Long-distance on
6) AM: general broadcast, can store 12 stations
7) FM: general FM radio, can store 18 stations;

5. Bluetooth
Click the Bluetooth icon in the main menu or press the Bluetooth button on the panel to enter the
Bluetooth mode. After successful pairing, all the icons in the interface will be active and the Bluetooth
icon will also appear at the top of the interface.

7. Video play
Click the video play icon to play audio and video files saved in the system or external multimedia files
from a SD card or USB device; supported video formats: H.263, MP3, MPEG-4 Simple Profile,
H.264/AVC etc.. The video play interface is described below:

8. Music play
Click video play icon to play audio and video files from the system or external audio files on a SD card
or USB device; supported audio formats :WMA, MP3, ape etc..

9. Photo
Click the picture/gallery icon to open the picture/gallery play mode with all pictures in flash memory or
SD/USB; in addition to loading pictures the application can also play video files from SD/USB sources,
as shown in the picture below:

10. AV-IN
Choose the "AV-IN" icon to display external audio and video on the device screen, as in the picture
below:

File management can be used to copy files to flash device, as in the picture below:
1. flash; memory files in device;
2. copy; select file and click copy button;
3. paste; select the location to paste the copied file;
4. delete; delete the selected file

Pair phone Bluetooth with unit and connect (Wireless Mode)
Connect phone with unit using a USB2.0 cable (Wired Mode)
**For the first time connection via USB wire, .Please follow
the instruction to download and install the “EasyConnected”
App
“EasyConnected" installation finished.
Find the developer option on the phone and tick “USB
debug”.
The phone and unit will connect automatically. Then
you can operate any phone application software on this
unit.
**If the connection fails, please repeat above steps. To
confirm the installation of the APK, check whether the
“EasyConnected " icon appears on the phone UI or use
another USB port to try again.
13. iPhone
Pair phone Bluetooth with unit and connect
Open Wi-Fi hotspot on phone
Cick ”connect hotspot”, input password to complete
connection (connect directly without password)
Open quick control bar on phone, select “Airplay”, open
“Mirror” function on phone page
When the above steps have been completed, the phone
image will be projected onto the unit’s screen
Note: iPhones can only project the image on to the
screen of the device, but is not able to operate the phone through
the touch screen of the unit.

14. OBD connection(OBD II scanner is not included) This Featrue is an Optional Feature.
Insert the OBD II to your car slot and make sure your car is compatible with OBD II
MainPage > Call > Find the OBD II device and pair it
Open the APP “TORQUE” and you can enjoy the OBDII Functions
**Please make sure your car is compatible with OBD II standard.
**Please make sure the OBD II is connected before open the “Torque”APP.

15. APK the other third-party application installation
Click the icon to open the APK installer. Choose the installation and find the installation package via
the selected file storage path. Follow the prompt steps to install it; The following safety tips will appear
during installation.

16. Map software installation
1 Copy the map installation file (APK) and map data file to an SD card and insert the card into the GPS slot.
2 Click “GPS” on the left side of the file manager and find the APK installation file on the SD CARD.
3 Select the APK installation file and then click “next” on the pop-up window to complete the installation.
4 During the initial installation of applications, a pop-up reading “no installation” may appear. Please click settings and tick “unknown sources”,
then return and install the file again.
5 Once the map has been installed, open setup and click “GPS" to open the map selection interface. Then click “GPS application selection”
and tick the installed map application. Note: ticking means “ “ button on the panel binds the map software. Press the “ ” icon to quickly
enter or exit the map interface. If different map is installed, the map can only be started by clicking the main interface icon.

17. Device setting
Click the settings icon on the main interface to enter the setting interface. You can change the settings
for the following functions: WIFI, sound, applications, GPS, driving, language, time and date etc.. These
will not be described individually here and instead a few commonly used functions are shown below:

18. 3G network
When you insert a 3G USB device, the 3G icon prompt will appear automatically on the top bar within
30s. You will then be able to use 3G internet
