Thank you for your purchase of this Garden Building. This manual is designed to simplify the assembly pro-
cess, however we recommend having an experienced carpenter involved in the project. Please read through
the entire manual before starting!
The Garden Building put together for this manual was a 10x14. This manual can also be used for other sizes. It
took 2 men, approximately 20 hours using the tools shown. However, it may take you longer since it will be a
new project for you.
Take a deep breath and get at it; the satisfaction and enjoyment of this Garden Building awaits!

You have purchased a product that consists of heavy, bulky pieces. With your purchase, you assume full
responsibility to have the necessary manpower and/or equipment available to unload the items. You also
agree that any damage that happens to the equipment, product, or individuals during the unloading
process, or during the entire construction process, is your responsibility , and neither the seller, nor the
manufacturer, will be held liable for any such damage.
In addition to the materials provided you will need approximately 9 packs of shingles, 5 gallons of paint
for siding, and 1 gallon of paint for the trim.

- Chalk line
- 2 - 8’ ladders
- Allen wrench
- Carpenter pencil
- Carpenter square
- Circular saw
- Sallzaw
Place the package as close to the
assembly location as possible.
Locate the parts to assemble the
oor joists.
Push joists tightly together and
align ush with joist connector.
Note: This is incorrect, the edges
should be aligned ush.
Unpack Floor Kit
Remove parts from package and
organize like parts together.
Assemble the joists using attaching the joist connector to each joist using
6 nails into each joist.
Cut package bands on smaller pack-
age.
Flip the joist over.
Assemble Sub-Floor
Add the band boards to oor layout
as shown.
Begin by attaching the bandboard to the end joist using two 3” screws through the pre-drilled holes keeping
edges aligned ush as shown.
Continue attaching bandboard to
joists using two 3” screws per joist.
Angle screws at bandboard splice into oor joist. The boards at the splice
should be tight.
Note: The bandboards have dado grooves precut to ensure proper joist
placement. The wider grooves should be placed at the edges of oor.
Attach joist connector on opposite
side repeating previous steps.
Note: The 2 end joists will only
have one connector as shown.
Assemble remaining joists and lay-
out according to oor plan.
Note: When attaching sheeting to
oor joists, match this pattern.
Note: It is important for sheeting to
remain ush with edges of suboor
as shown.
Continue attaching sheeting to edge of sub-oor making sure to keep the
edges ush. Space nails 8-10” apart.
Attach sheeting to subfoor at corner
of suboor.
Begin with front corner sheeting
piece.
Continue until sub-oor is complete
as shown.
Before proceeding, ensure sub-oor is square. Sub-
oor is square when corner to corner diagonal mea-
surements are equal.
Install Flooring
Continue attaching sheeting to sub-oor until all sheeting is complete. Floor should look like this when
complete.
Continue nailing sheeting to sub-
oor until entire sheet is secured.
Attach adjoining sheeting section repeating previous steps.
Before attaching middle joists,
mark sheeting to ensure joists are
spaced 24” apart.
Make sure joist at splice is centered on oor joist, then attach with nails
Layout framing for back wall. The
top and bottom plates have dado
grooves to ensure
Insert two 3” screws through the pre-drilled holes to attach bottom plate
to each wall stud. Make sure wall plates and oor joists remain ush.
Cut packaging bands. Unpack package keeping like parts together. Make sure to keep work
area clear.
Assemble Back Wall
Attach all wall studs to top and bottom plate.
Before fastening the double top
wall plate ensure that dado grooves
align with wall studs.
Attach double top plate to wall plate using 3” screws through pre-drilled
holes.
Attach siding at top corner. Make sure siding overhangs by 1/2”
and attach.
Attach siding to studs spacing nails
8-12” apart.
Use this pattern for the siding on
back wall.
Note: The siding should align at
splice between top plates.
Make sure siding is centered on
stud and overhangs by 1/2”
Place adjoining siding piece in
place.
Attach corner of siding section to
wall stud.
Next ensure that top edge of siding section is aligned at splice of top
plates and is centered at splice wall stud, then attach.
Repeat previous steps and attach remaining siding sections.
Align siding section along bottom
and at splice and attach along bot-
tom.
After ensuring siding section is properly aligned, rmly attach siding sec-
tion along all edges and into each wall stud spacing nails 8-12” apart.
Align edge of overlapping siding section with groove near edge of under-
lapping siding section.
Repeat previous steps on opposite end of wall, so both walls are ush
with wall framing.
If wall isn’t ush with edge of oor,
you may be able to move it slight-
ly hitting rmly with hammer at
bottom edge.
Pull wall and siding tightly against
oor and attach bottom plate to
oor using 3” screws.
Next repeat previous steps at oppo-
site corner.
Cut overhanging siding so siding is
ush with wall framing.
Lift and set wall, making sure edges of wall are ush with edges of oor.
Note: It is very important that one person is holding with wall in
place until wall is attached rmly to oor.
Note the bottom of siding should
overhang past edge of oor and
edge of wall should be ush with
edge of oor.
Note: See other steps and before
moving to step...
Align a chalk line with edges of wall framing and snap a line.
