2 Settings
2.1 General
Set connection intervals
Yepzon ONE 2.0 has two basic modes: Awake and Sleeping. Yepzon has an
acceleration sensor. When the device stops registering movement for 20 minutes,
it will go into Sleep Mode in order to save battery life.
Connection intervals determine how frequently the Yepzon will connect to the server
in each mode and how quickly you get the accurate location (see 3.1 Locate
accurately).
The connection intervals aect battery life. The longer the connection intervals, the
longer the battery life.
Example: Paul is going to park his car for a month, and he is worried about thieves.
He hides the Yepzon under the hat shelf of the car and sets the connection interval
in the Awake mode to 10 minutes and in the Sleeping mode to 12 hours. During the
week, he occasionally checks the Yepzon’s status on his phone. Paul finds out that
the Yepzon had entered Sleeping mode and remained there, meaning that his car
has not been moved. The battery will easily last for the entire month.
Manage access rights
Add and allow more users to locate and manage the Yepzon tracker. There is no
upper limit to how many users can follow one Yepzon tracker.
Note: All users will have full access.
2.2 Notifications
Edit notifications
Yepzon can be set to send notifications for specific situations, such as when Yepzon
starts moving aer a period of stillness. By selecting Edit notifications you can check
the boxes for the events you want to be notified of.
2.3 Service
Data tank
Yepzon tracker has a built-in SIM card and it uses mobile data to transfer positioning
information to the mobile app. Your tracker includes 1 month of unlimited usage,
aer which you can easily purchase more via Yepzon App or yepzon.com/shop.

6
International use
If you want to use your tracker outside EU, USA, Russia or China, you must buy a
roaming package via the app or yepzon.com/roaming. Price depends on country and
length of visit.
Note: Please check yepzon.com/roaming for covered countries.
2.4 Power o and restore
Turn o the Yepzon
The Yepzon device can only be turned o from the Yepzon App. This is only required
in rare circumstances (e.g. during flight).
Note: Aer shutdown, the tracker must be plugged in to charge to turn back on.
Create restore link
You can request a restore link that enables you to reset your Yepzon. The reset simply
removes all the connections between Yepzon and any smartphone or tablet it has
been connected to. Your e-mail address is not collected, saved or used by Yepzon for
anything else than sending the reset link.
3 Location
3.1 Locate accurately
Yepzon One 2.0 uses GSM, GPS and Wi-Fi for positioning.
By default, the app always displays the last known location based on either GSM cell
towers or Wi-Fi hotspots.
Yepzon One 2.0 locates accurately on demand. To activate the GPS/Wi-Fi positioning,
tap Locate accurately. Time for accurate positioning to start depends on connection
interval settings. The waiting time is the connection interval at maximum. Each
session lasts for a few minutes and can be repeated sequentially as many times as
needed.
If GPS signal is not strong enough (e.g. indoors) and Wi-Fi hotspots are not present, a
rough position based on GSM towers is shown.
Example: Connection interval is 5 minutes. The last connection was at 12:00. The user
taps the Locate accurately button at 12:01. Yepzon starts tracking aer four minutes,
at 12:05.

7
Example: Connection interval is 3 hours and the device is sleeping. The last
connection was at 12:00. The user taps the locate accurately button at 12:01. Tracking
starts at 15:00 except if the device starts moving before that, in which case the
tracking starts immediately aer detecting the movement.
3.2 Accuracy
Accuracy of the position can be checked by tapping the location pin on the map. 2 km
means that the real position is not in the center of the red circle but anywhere within
the radius of 2 km.
A typical GSM tower accuracy is from a few hundred meters to several kilometers.
Whereas GPS accuracy is typically around 5-20m and Wi-Fi 20-50m.
Note: In some cases, GPS signal reflections and interference might cause the location
to shi a little- called dri. These reflections might happen if the device is indoors, by
water, or around tall buildings.
3.3 History
The History view lets you check the tracker’s previous states and locations either on a
list or map view.
You may filter the history data by selecting a date/time range. Locations can be also
connected into a route by lines with direction arrows. The history data can be viewed
backwards until the moment the device was paired.
Symbol explanations:
Note: Wide date range and inaccurate locations may cause the route to look not clear.
Note: If you want to receive better route information, we recommend using Constant
tracking. In Constant tracking mode, the Smart Tracker sends its accurate location at
regular intervals.
Filter history data by date and time.
View the history data on map.
View the history data on list view.
Connect the locations into a route by lines with direction arrows.
Set date and time to filter history data.

4 Safety
Yepzon is not a substitute for parental or guardian supervision.

This product meets applicable national SAR limits of 2.0W/kg. The specific maximum
SAR values can be found at yepzon.com/support. When carrying the product or
using it while worn on your body, either use an accessory such as a holster or
otherwise maintain a distance of 0,5 cm from the body to ensure compliance with
RF exposure requirements.
All wireless devices are sensitive to interference, which can impair the functionality
of the device.
In principle, Yepzon is water resistant, as long as the rubber plug covering the USB
port is tightly closed. If fastened e.g. to a schoolbag, rainfall on the way home will
not bother it at all. However, we recommend not wearing it while swimming, nor
drop it underwater. Also, do not allow it to fall onto hard surfaces or be hit by sharp
objects, as this may damage the electronics. The device is designed to be used at
temperatures between -10°C to +40°C. Coldness may impair the battery capacity.
Do not subject the device to great temperature variation to prevent condensation
from forming inside the device.
The device includes an integrated rechargeable battery, which cannot be removed.
You should not dispose of the device with household waste. Instead, return it to the
place of purchase or to a recycling point. You can check the location of the nearest
recycling point from the local waste management authorities. Do not attempt to
remove or modify the battery, as this may damage the device and create a hazard.
Only use standard undamaged chargers equipped with a Micro USB connector.
Avoid using excessive force when plugging the connector into the Yepzon port.
