Required Components (Supplied by user)
1. Spectrum Analyser: It must include the necessary options to work with EMViewer (see
Supported Spectrum Analysers).
2. PC: Including a LAN or USB 2.0/3.0 port for the spectrum analyser and a USB port for
the webcam. It must be running Windows.

Installation and Hardware Setup
1. Install latest version of Keysight IO
Click here to open the website to download the latest version. On the website click on
the Download button and follow the steps.
2. Install the EMViewer Primum application
Install the EMScanner software by clicking on the Setup application icon. The
application must always be installed on the C: drive.

3. Verify that your camera works correctly.
Windows has a built-in camera application you can use for this. Type Camera in the
Windows search box.
4. Connect PC, spectrum analyser and probe as per the diagram below.
If you are using Ethernet between the PC and the spectrum analyser, use a
crossover Ethernet cable. If the spectrum analyser has multiple trigger ports, always
connect to Trigger 1 IN.

Taking Measurements
The EMViewer software analyse the camera video stream and identify the probe type,
position and its orientation based on the marker printed on the tip. For best performance,
keep this marker visible to the camera.

Open the EMViewer and add new node to the project.

In the Setting Dialog Box, check the `Probe Camera Tracking` check box:
