Introduction
Omnos 5.1.2 Soundbar utilizes state of the art audio technology to create
lifelike theater sound right in your home. The 5 indicates the horizontal
speakers that cover left, right, center rear left and rear right, similar to standard
5.1 audio systems. The 1 stands for the subwoofer channel, which is to create
deep bass. The 2 indicates the two height channels located above the
listener's head. The cumulative result creates a truly three dimensional sound
experience.
The Omnos can take any sound format from stereo to multichannel audio as an input
signal. The signal processing algorithm then converts the input audio signal to 5.1.2 audio
signal.
Omnos contains following components:
Soundbar Unit - Each speaker in the Soundbar has an independent audio signal that is
processed by a digital signal processer. Three face directly at you, two face toward the
sides of the room and two face the ceiling to bounce sound for a fully immersive effect.
Each speaker unit has its own cavity to deliver superior sound quality while minimizing

5/ 32
interference from speaker units. The available inputs include HDMI /3.5mm
Analog/Bluetooth/HDMI ARC, also the control buttons for the input switch/ volume control
and standby are available in the front panel.
Subwoofer - The subwoofer is connected wirelessly to the Soundbar and completes the
comprehensive sound package. With a phase-inverted tube structural design and unique
grid bottom, this subwoofer makes your bass much more powerful.
Remote Controller –Used for the volume control, input switch and power on/off operations.
Mobile App -The custom app allows you to control and fine tune your audio for each
room. Set your virtual sound field and room tuning preference and switch your devices
through a single click. Also the common control such as the listening mode switch, the
bass control and volume/input control are included in the MobileApp.

Audio Playback and Streaming
HDMI Streaming
You can select the HDMI source (either HDMI1 or HDMI2) for the Omnos Soundbar
input through the front panel button or remote controller. Just follow the above
chapters for the HDMI input/output connection and TV-Set settings.
The HDMI Device Setting
For better audio performance, it is recommended to switch to ‘raw data’or ‘bitstream’
for your HDMI input device. This setting could be under the control page like
[Settings][Audio][Digital Audio Output]. (For the detailed digital audio output
setting, please check your playback device user manual.)
Notice: not all audio format could be streamed, if no sound output, there may be
compatibility between the HDMI source and sink about the ‘raw data’or ‘bitstream’
format, you can switch back to “PCM”instead, then there’ll be audio output.
AUX Playback
Figure 11. AUX Audio Streaming
You can connect your phone or tablet with a 3.5mm analog cable and switch your

14 / 32
Omnos input device to Aux by the front panel button or remote controller. Then you can
enjoy the music content on your devices.
Bluetooth Playback
Besides the Aux playback from the mobile or tablet, Bluetooth devices are also
supported. Turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile device and search the available device
named like “Omnos”. After pairing with Omnos Soundbar, you can stream wirelessly
with Bluetooth connection. When you stream audio through Bluetooth, the input of
Omnos will switch to Bluetooth automatically and the AUX LED on the front panel with
blink slowly to indicate the current input as Bluetooth. When you switch the Bluetooth
input to any other input, the Omnos will disconnect the Bluetooth device and if you
want to stream through Bluetooth again, you have to pair and stream again.
Figure 12. Bluetooth Streaming
HDMI ARC
If you have a smart TV—that is, one that has an Internet connection and works with
streaming services. Firstly, in your TV’s audio settings, make sure the audio output
is set to “External Speaker,” or “Receiver” instead of “TV Speakers”. This option is
usually in the [Settings][Audio] tab. Then switch the current input to ARC by either
the Omnos Play App or the front-panel HDMI1 input button (by long press the HDMI1
input button for 5 seconds). When switching to ARC, the HDMI1 LED on the front-panel
will keep blinking slowly.
For compatibility, it’s recommended to set the Digital Audio output as PCM in the TV’s

15 / 32
audio setting, or some bitstream may not be handled properly on Omnos Soundbar.
As the TV’s audio output is switched to “External Speaker,” if you want the HDMI
audio passthrough functionality below, you have to switch the TV’s audio output
back to “TV’s speakers”, or no sound will be available on your TV.
HDMI Audio Passthrough
You can bypass the Omnos Soundbar and stream directly to your TV by turning on the
HDMI Audio Passghrough by turning on [Settings][Advanced Settings][Audio
Passthrough].
When you power off the Omnos, the system will turn to HDMI audio passthrough mode
if current input is HDMI.
To make sure sound playback works well on your TV, please make sure the TV’s audio
setting switch to “TV’s speakers”.

Adaptive Tuning Capability
Use the Omnos app to calculate your space and fine tune the Omnos
Soundbar for optimal performance. Your Soundbar emanates waves that
sweep the room in three dimensions to estimate the volume of the space. The
Soundbar then fine tunes its settings for optimal sound effects in that space.
To tune your Omnos, switch to [Settings][Room Tuning] [Room
Tuning]
Follow the tuning steps as the App guides, i.e. first set the distance from
your listening position to the Omnos Soundbar and start the tuning.
Please keep quiet during the tuning and also make sure you’re not very
close to the Omnos Soundbar as the loud sound during tuning process.
