Procedure to Install Wheel Upgrade Kits
A91425 & A91426
For YS640 & YS480 Backyard Models

Tools needed:
10mm wrench (2)
9/16´´ wrench
9/16´´ socket
Floor jack (optional)
3 scrap pieces of 2x4 lumber
Parts required:
A91425: 3´´ caster kit (x2)
1. 91221 caster wheel arm
2. 91222 caster wheel
3. 91349 wheel bushing
4. 3816X1WHB
5. M6X1.0HNN
6. M6X1.0X38HB
A91456: 8´´ wheel kit (x2)
1. 24252 8´´ wheel
2. 90659 Axle
3. 701-212-02 Cotter Pin
** 2 people are required to perform the
following instructions **
1. Before proceeding, refer to your Operation
Instructions manual you received with your
pellet grill. Remove the cooking grates and
the heat diuser. Remove the burn grate and
vacuum out the burn pot. Make sure the inside
of the cooking chamber is free of grease, ash,
and debris. If applicable, scoop the pellets out
of the hopper. Remove the outer shelves and the
chimney and close the cooking chamber and the
hopper. On YS640 models, make sure the VDD
is in the fully closed position.
2. One person lift up on the hopper end, or use
the optional oor jack to lift the hopper side of
the cart up and secure the bottom shelf by using
the (3) 2x4 boards.
3. Pull the pin clip from the axle. Then remove
the wheel and axle from the leg.
4. Insert the new axle (90659) into the wheel
(24252) and reinstall into the tube in the leg.
Use the pin clip (701-212-02) to secure the axle
into the tube. After repeating procedure on
other side of unit, remove the boards supporting
the cart.

5. Lay a blanket on the ground underneath the
hopper side. Using two people, lift the chimney
end and GENTLY place the hopper on the
blanket.
6. Use a 9/16´´ wrench to remove the nut
located inside the caster leg.
7. Unscrew the caster wheel from the plate.
8. Install the new caster wheel by rst attaching
the arm (91221) to the leg with the provided
3816X1WHB. Then tighten the bolt using a
9/16´´ socket.
9. Secure the bolt in place with the 3816WHN
and using a 9/16´´ wrench to tighten the nut in
place.
10. Insert the bushing (91349) into the caster
wheel.

11. Use the M6X1.0X38HB to install the wheel
to the arm and hand tighten the M6X1.0HNN
onto the bolt. Secure the wheel in place using
two 10mm wrenches to tighten the nut and bolt
onto the arm.
*Attention* the next step requires two people
to perform
12. Using 2 people, carefully lower the chimney
end back onto the ground. Refer to the
Operation Instructions Manual you received with
your pellet smoker and re-assemble the smoker.
