Charging:
•Remove the back battery compartment cover and insert battery correctly.
NOTE: Polarity +side and -side as indicated inside compartment must match battery sides.
WARNING: INSERT THE BATTERY CORRECTLY. DO NOT REVERSE BATTERY POLARITY AS THE FAN COULD
BE DAMAGED OR CAUSE A FIRE IF CHARGED
•Insert the provided micro USB cable into the side charging port of the fan.
•Plug in the other side of the cable with standard USB jack into a USB socket on PC, laptop or charger.
•Charging light will show RED when charging and GREEN or BLUE when full.
•Charging time may vary from 2-3 hours depending on the USB supply.

The fan will stop when the battery begins to go flat and a recharge is required.
Recharging is easy and safe as the battery cannot be overcharged. The charger will stop charging once full. Lithium ion
batteries do not have memory and can be recharged anytime. Life span of a battery is about 500-700 charge cycles if
used correctly.
Although the unit arrives partially charged from the factory, it must be fully charged for 3 hours before first use. This initial
charge pre-conditions the battery for full capacity. Failure to charge may shorten the life span of the battery. Once the
battery gets flat, recharge the battery immediately as it could get damaged if left very flat.

To replace the battery only use 18650 Li-ion type as supplied.
Operating:
•Press the ON/MODE (Green) button to switch the fan on and to change between speed levels and to activate
the side torch.
Press the OFF (Red) button to turn the fan off quickly at any stage of usage.
Working Time: SPEED LOW: 6 hours
SPEED MEDIUM: 4 hours
SPEED HIGH: 2 hours
Hold the fan at a distance from a person or place it standing on a flat surface.
WARNING!
•The fan blades rotate at a high speed when working. Do not place any foreign matter into the fan or it could be
damaged.
•Please do not place your finger or any foreign object into the protective screening of the fan.
•Children under 10 years of age must only use this product with adult supervision.
•Avoid placing the fan near lightweight objects that could be sucked into the fan.
•Do not use the fan if there are any signs of damage or cracks to the blades or casing.
•It is strictly prohibited to use the fan or battery when temperatures are over 60 °C.

•In order to ensure the performance and service life of the product, make sure that this product does not come
into any contact with water. It is not waterproof or water resistant.
•Fully charge the battery before storing for long periods. Keep recharging every few months or the battery may go
faulty.
•Do not dispose of the battery in a fire or ordinary waste. Only discard the battery in designated waste-bins.
•Do not operate the fan in high temperature, hazardous or explosive environments.
•Do not subject the fan to strong impacts.
•Do not disassemble or modify the fan as it contains protective devices which, if damaged, may cause the battery
to heat or ignite.
•Do not leave the fan in direct sunlight or hot spaces for extended periods.
•Never short circuit, reverse polarity, disassemble, damage or heat the battery packs over 100°C. If an exploded
Li-ion battery does ignite, it will burn more violently if it comes into contact with water or moisture. Never put
water on a burning Li-ion battery only use a fire extinguisher.
Maintenance:
All batteries lose charge over time. It is recommended that the fan should be fully recharged every 2-3 months when not
in use. If the unit gets dirty, gently clean the outer surface of the fan with a soft cloth moistened with a mild solution of
water and detergent. Store in a cool, dry place.
Warranty:
Your Zartek Breez has a 12 month factory fault warranty. This is applicable from the exact date of purchase. Proof of
purchase will be requested.
The factory fault warranty only includes issues with the product manufacturing process. Not included are any damages or
faults caused or induced by use of the product. This is because of the high level of quality control checks placed on this
product before it reaches the user.
This product is to be used fully at your own risk for its intended purpose. The supplier, manufacturer, distributor or seller
hold no accountability or responsibility whatsoever, in case of damage or harm caused from using this product.
