Whenopeningthebottomcoverofazoom‐lenscamera
workingundernormalpowersupply(seeStep1in“Mounting
theMicroSDCard”),youcanseeamonochromaticindicatorat
theopeningpart,whichisthesystemindicator.Thefollowing
tabledescribesthestatesoftheindicator.

Blinkingrapidly(5Hz)Thedeviceisinitializedimproperly.

zUseapoweradaptermeetingspecificrequirementsora
PoweroverEthernet(PoE)device(supportedbyzoom‐lens
camerasonly).Otherwise,thecameracouldbedamaged.
zVerifythatthepowercablebetweenthepoweradapter
andthedeviceisequaltoorshorterthan1.5m.Ifthe
powercableislongerthan1.5m,thevoltageofthedevice
isloweredandthedevicefrequentlywillbeabnormal.Ifit
isrequiredtolengthenthepowercable,lengthenthecable
betweenthepoweradaptorandthemains(220V).
zBesuretodisconnectthepowerbeforemovingthedevice,
andexcisecautiontoavoidelectricshockwhenmovingit.
Oncethecableisconnectedtothemains,thedevicewill
bepowered.
zWhenmovingthedevice,donotholdthetailcableby
handforweightbearing.Otherwise,thecableconnectorof
thedevicecouldbeloosened.

zDonotcutoffthetailcableforconnectionpurposes.A
baretailcablemayeasilycauseashortcircuit,resultingin
abnormalityofordamagedtothedevice.
zDonotexposebutwellprotectthetailendofthetailcable.
Ensurethatthetailcableareaiswaterproof,andavoid
immersingthetailcableinaccumulatedwater.
zEnsurethatthevoltageofthehighlevelsignalofthealarm
inputinterfaceislowerthan5VDCwhenthealarminput
interfaceisconnected.
zEnsurethatthehardnessofthewallorceilingcanbearthe
weightofthedevicewhenmountingthedeviceonthewall
orceiling.
3Installation
MountingtheMicroSDCard
TheMicroSDslotofazoom‐lenscameraisinsidethe
device.Therefore,youneedtoopenthebottomcoverofthe

camera.Afterthecardisinserted,hotpluggingisnot
recommended.
FordetailsaboutrecommendedSDcardspecifications,
contactsalesortechnicalsupportpersonnel.TheSDcarduses
theFAT32filesystem,andsupportsonlyonepartition.
1. Openthebottomcoverofthecamera.
UnscrewtwoPhillips‐slotfillister‐headscrewsandopen
thebottomcoverofthecamera.
2. InserttheMicroSDcardintotheslot.
Tightenthescrewsonthebottomcoveragainafter
insertingtheMicroSDcard.

WallMount
Youcanadoptwallmountingorceilingmountingand
purchasehardwarefittingsbyyourself.Thefollowingparttakes
wallmountingasanexample.Ceilingmountingissimilarto
wallingmountingandthereforeisomittedhere.
1. Beforemountingthedeviceonthewall,checkthe
softwareversionandcompleteinitialconfiguration.
Connectthepowerandnetworkcable,poweronthe
camera,andlogintothecamerasystem.

2. Determinepositionsofholes.
a. Pasteinstallationpositioningstickersonthewallandalign
thecrosscentertothewallhole.
b. Leadcablestobeconnectedoutofthewallhole.
3. Drillwallholes.

Useadrillbitwithadiameterof6mmor6.5mmtodrill
30mm‐depthguideholesaccordingtothepositionsmarkedby
stickers.
4. Installtheplasticrivetsofself‐tappingscrews.
Knocktheplasticrivetsintotheholesandensurethatthey
aretightenedup.
5. Mountthedeviceontothewallandconnectallcables.
Leadself‐tappingscrewsthroughtheguideholesinthe
baseandfixthemonthewallbyusingascrewdriver.

6. Adjustthemonitoringdirection.
UnscrewtwoPhillips‐slotfillister‐headscrews,adjustthe
monitoringdirectionofthecameraasrequired,andtightenthe
screws.

Afterverifying thatthemountingprocessiscorrect,
connectoneendofthepoweradaptortotheAC220Vmains
andconnecttheotherendtothepowerinterface.Thenstart
thedevice.
4SettingtheCameraovertheLAN
ToviewandconfigurethecameraviaLAN(LocalArea
Network),youneedtoconnectthenetworkcamerainthesame
subnetwiththatofyourPC.Then,installtheEZStationsoftware
tosearchandchangetheIPaddressofnetworkcamera.

software.
