SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1, READ INSTRUCTIONS – AII the safety and operating instructions should be read
before the appliance is operated.
2, RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS – The safety and operating instruction should be retained for
future reference.
3, HEED WARNINGS – AII warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions
should be adhered to.

5, WATER AND MOISTURE –
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled with

liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
13, DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE – The appliance should be serviced by qualified

14, SERVICING – The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that
described in the user’s operating instructions. AII other servicing should be referred to
qualified service personnel.
NOTES:
1), It is preferred to retain CD inside the unit even when it is not in use. This prevents dust
accumulation on optical lens.
2), Dirty or scratched CD may cause skipping problem. Clean or replace the CD.
3), If an erroneous display or malfunction occurs, disconnect the AC cord and remove all
the batteries (where applicable) to turn off the display. Then turn the power back on.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

Attention should be drawn to environmental aspects of battery disposal.
Use of the apparatus in moderate climates.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled
with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
The mains plug or appliance coupler is used as disconnect device, the disconnect
device shall remain readily operable.
BEFORE OPERATION
NOTES-CONCERNING COMPACT DISCS.
Since dirty, damaged or warped discs may damage the unit, care should be taken of the
following items:
1, a. Usable compact discs
Use compact disc only with the mark shown on the disc.
b, CD: compact disc only with digital audio signals.
2, A. NOTES ON HANDLING DISCS
Removing the disc from its storage case and loading it.
PRESS THE CLAWS AT THE CENTER OF THE DISC CASE.
INSERT WITH THE LABLE FACING UP.
LIFT OUT WITHOUT TOUCHING THE RECORDED SURFACE
PRESS THE DISC GENTLY TO INSERT IT.
Do not touch the reflective recorded surface
Do not stick anything to or write anything on the surface.
Do not bend compact discs.
Incorrect
3. STORAGE
After removing a disc from the unit, be sure to put it back in its case.
Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high temperatures from a heater, etc, high humidity,
or dust.
Cleaning discs
Before loading a disc, wipe off any dust,
Dirt or fingerprints with a soft cloth. Discs should be cleaned by wiping radially, from the
center to the edge.
Correct incorrect

This unit has been designed to play 8cm or 12cm compact discs bearing the identification
logo shown on the disc. Never use thinner, benzine, record cleaner or antistatic spray on a
compact disc.
BEFORE OPERATION NOTES ON SET
Beware of condensation
When water vapour comes into contact with the surface of cold material, water drops are
produced.
If condensation occurs, correct operation may not be possible or the unit may not function
correctly.
This is not a malfunction however, and the unit should be dried (To do this, turn the
POWER switch ON and leave the unit as it is for several hours.)
Be especially careful in the following conditions.
1. When the unit is brought from a cold place to a warm place, and there is a large
temperature difference.
2. When a heater starts operating.
3.When the unit is brought from an air-conditioned place to a place of high
temperature with high humidity.
4.When there is a large difference between the internal temperature of the unit and
ambient temperature, or in conditions where condensation occurs easily.
Protect your unit/set from rain, fire, moisture, sand, dust, chemicals & excessive heat
(e.g. Near heating equipment or in car parked under the sun light.)

Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat radiating appliances such as electric
heaters.
Dusty places.
Places subject to constant vibration.
Humid or moist places.
POWER SOURCES
This unit operates on 120V~ 60Hz or 6 x DC1.5V “C” (UM-2) batteries. Do not attempt to
operate the radio on any other power source. You could cause damage to the unit and
void your warranty.
Please be sure the power outlet you plug this unit into is working and receives constant
(un-switched) power.
AC OPERATION
1. When the AC power cord (included) is connected to the AC Power Socket on the back
of the unit and the other end is plugged into a 120V AC~ 60Hz wall outlet, the unit will
disconnect the batteries automatically, and operate on AC Power only.
2. Press the POWER button to turn O/OFF the unit and slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to
“CD_AUX” for CD or AUDIO IN, “FM” for FM radio, “AM” for AM radio. When the unit is
powered on, the Power LED indicator light will be on beside the LED display.
BATTERY OPERATION
1. Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the unit.
2. Install 6 x DC1.5V “C” (UM-2) batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram
inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover.
4.
IMPORTANT: Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly.
Wrong polarity may damage the unit and void the warranty.
For best performance and longer operating time, we recommend the use of
good quality alkaline-type batteries.
CAUTION
1. Do not mix old and new batteries.
2. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
3. If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery. Old or
leaking battery can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.
4. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the output sound of this unit becomes distorted or the CD player operation appears
unstable, the batteries are weak. You need to replace all the exhausted batteries at the
same time as soon as possible to avoid battery leakage.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AM" or "FM" for your desired radio band.

2. Rotate the TUNING CONTROL to your desired radio station according to the DIAL
SCALE on the unit.
3. Rotate the VOLUME CONTROL to adjust to the desired output level.
4. To turn off the radio, press the Power button.
TIPS FOR BEST RECEPTION
AM – The AM antenna is located inside the cabinet of the unit. If AM reception is weak,
change the position of unit until the internal antenna picks up the strongest signal.
FM – If a stereo broadcast program is being received, the FM STEREO INDCATOR will
light. During FM reception, always keep the FM TELESCOPIC ANTENNA fully
extended for best performance. However, if FM reception is weak, try repositioning
the unit near an open window until you get the best reception.
CD OPERATION
NOTE: This unit not only plays commercial compact discs but also self-complied CD-RW
discs.
Because of non-standardized format definition/production of CD-R/RW, playback
quality & performance is not guaranteed.
Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of CD-R/RW due to recording
conditions such as PC performance, writing software, media properties etc.
Do not attach a label or seal to either side of the CD-R/RW disc. It may cause a
malfunction.
PLAY MODE
1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to the “CD” position.
2. Open the CD DOOR, load a CD with the label side facing upward and then close the
CD door.
3. Disc information (total number of tracks) will appear on the LED DISPLAY.
4. Press PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON to start playing the CD, the PLAY INDICATOR will light
appear on the LED display.
5. While playing music, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON to pause playback and the
PLAY INDICATOR will blink on the LED display. Press PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON again
to resume playing.
6. Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL to the desired volume level.
7. Press STOP BUTTON to stop playing music.
8. To turn off the CD player, press the Power button.
NOTE: If skipping occurs during CD playback, try turning the volume down. Check the
CD to ensure it is not scratched or damaged.
Do not open the CD DOOR when a CD is playing.
REPEAT MODE
Repeat 1
When the REPEAT BUTTON is pressed once, the repeat LED INDICATOR will blink
continuously on LED display. The current track will be repeated.
Repeat All Tracks
When the REPEAT BUTTON is pressed twice, the REPEAT LED INDICATOR L light will
stay solid. The whole disc will be played continuously.
To Cancel Repeat Function:
Press the REPEAT BUTTON until the REPEAT LED INDICATOR light is off.

SKIP AND SEARCH MODE
1. During Play or Pause mode, tap the SKIP FORWARD "" or SKIP BACKWARD ""
Button to go to the next track or go back to the beginning of the current track.
2. During playback, press and hold the SEARCH FORWARD "" or SEARCH
BACKWARD "" Buttons to search within the current track with audible high speed
playback.
PROGRAM PLAY MODE
This function allows music tracks to be played in a programmed sequence.
NOTE: Program can only be set in STOP mode.
1. Press the PROGRAM BUTTON once. “01” in the LED DISPLAY will start to flash.
2. Press the SKIP FORWARD "" or SKIP BACKWARD "" BUTTON to select the track
to be programmed.
3. Press the PROGRAM BUTTON again to store the selection. The LED DISPLAY will
advance to “02” and flash to prompt for the next track.
4. You may repeat steps 2 to 3
to program up to 20 tracks. As soon as you have entered
the 20th track, the LED DISPLAY will automatically show the programmed tracks one by
one in their correct sequence starting from the first programmed track. If you wish to
program less than 20 tracks, press the Program button twice after confirming your last
track. At the end of the sequence, "01" will flash on the LED display, ready to play your
first programmed track.
5. Press PLAY BUTTON to start the programmed playback. Press the Stop button to stop
playback.
6. Programmed tracks will be played through once and then stop. However, you may use
the REPEAT function to repeatedly play a certain track (Repeat 1) or all tracks in the
program (Repeat All). You may also press SKIP Forward "" BUTTON to go directly
to other tracks ahead or use SKIP BACKWARD "" BUTTON to go back to previous
track(s) during program playback.
7. To cancel program play, press the STOP BUTTON twice during program playback.
AUX IN OPERATION
This player features an AUX-IN jack for connecting your smartphone, MP3 player or other
digital music player.
1. Connect the Aux-in cable(not included) from your external device to the AUX IN jack
located on the left side of this CD player.
2. Turn on the CD player and it will enter the CD/AUX function mode once an external
device is plugged into the AUX IN jack.
3. Start to play your music from the external audio device.
4. Adjust both volume controls on your CD player and on the external device to your
desired level.
NOTE: Once a cable is plugging into the AUX-IN jack, the CD player will automatically
enter the AUX-in mode. Remember to disconnect the cable from the Aux-in jack after use
in order to be able to use CD function.
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Pairing with other Bluetooth source devices:
1. Slide FUNCTION SWITCH SELECTOR the Bluetooth mode.
2. Press “STOP” button long time to change to select Bluetooth function. (PAIRING indicator blinks.)

3. Press and hold the PAIRING button for 3 seconds or more. PAIRING indicator blinks quickly. The unit is
now in pairing mode and is ready to be paired with other Bluetooth source devices.
4. Perform pairing procedure on the source device to detect this unit. “PRCD600B” will appear in the
detected devices list (if available) in the source device. (Refer the source device operating manual for
details).
5. Select “PRCD600B” from the source list. If Passcode is required, enter “0000”. Passcode may be called
PIN Code, Passkey, PIN number or Password.
6. Pairing indicator will stop blinking once the unit is successfully paired with the source device.(Pairing
information is now memorized in the unit.) Some audio source devices may connect with the unit
automatically after pairing is completed, otherwise follow the instructions in the source device operating
manual to start connection.
7. Press the play button on main unit source device to start Bluetooth connection.
NOTE:
• Place the devices to be paired within 1 meter (3 feet) of each other when pairing.
• Some source devices are unable to display lists of detected devices. To pair this unit with the source
device, refer to the source device operating manual for details.
Notes when using unit with a mobile phone:
• This unit cannot be used to talk over the telephone even when there is a Bluetooth connection made to a
mobile phone.
• Please refer to the operating manual supplied with the mobile phone for details on operation of your mobile
phone while transmitting the sound using a Bluetooth connection.
Pairing Bluetooth devices:
Bluetooth devices need to be initially paired first before they can exchange data. Once paired, it is not
necessary to pair them again unless:
• Pairing is made with more than 8 devices. Pairing can only be made one device at a time. This unit can be
paired to a maximum of 8 devices. If subsequent device is paired, the oldest device paired, will be deleted
and replaced with the new one.
• This unit is reset. All pairing information is deleted when unit is reset.
• Pairing information is deleted while re-pairing, etc.
