Thank you for choosing a A.N.T - Advanced Native Technologies - product!
In BBM BP/WP speaker series we have put our passion and our
technological background gained over the years, to offer products that
meet your needs, maintaining the quality over time.
Specically designed for an immediate and user-friendly application, meeting
the needs of those looking for a compact constant impedance or voltage
(70-100V) audio system, providing excellent performance and the best value
for money possible in its category.
Characterized by an elegant look and compact dimensions, these speakers
are able to amplify indoors and outdoors - thanks to IP55 protection - small
and medium-sized environments. All models are available in two colors,
black (BBM BP) and white (BBM WP).
Are also available, specically engineered for BBM speakers wall or ceiling
installation, the bracket kits BBM WBU and BBM 358Y in black or white, as
well as the SA-30/50/80 black kits specic tripod mounting.
Please, dedicate some minutes to read this instruction manual in order to
quickly achieve the best performances from this product.

3| DESCRIPTION
3.1 | INPUTS & CONTROLS
1 HEADED INPUT CABLE
Connect the signal from amplier outputs to these two wires.
To ensure correct sound reproduction, the speakers must be connected
in phase. Match the positive and negative polarities of the amplier with
the positive (White +) and negative (Black -) polarity of the speaker input.
2 CABLE GLAND
The cable gland guarantees IP55 protection of electrical connections
inside the speaker.
3 SEALED POWER SELECTOR
IP55 Selector with seven positions for constant impedance (8Ω) or
constant voltage (10W, 20W, 40W or 80W on 70V or 100V) connections.
Use a flat-blade screwdriver to select the desired mode.
NOTE:
All the BBM BP/WP series speakers guarantee IP55 protection, in particular:
• Total protection against item introduction.
• Protection against liquids entry in any form like drops, vapors, sprays
and weak jets of water in any direction.
• Dust and liquids intrusion must not damage the equipment.

4| CONNECTIONS
For the installation of the speaker and to guarantee its proper operation, strictly apply
the instructions below:
• It is recommended to contact qualied personnel, i.e. personnel with sufcient technical
knowledge, experience or specic instructions, able of properly making the connections
and preventing the dangers of electricity. The entire sound system must be made in
compliance with existing standards and laws concerning electrical systems.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, connect the speaker with the amplication system
turned off.
• Beforeoperatingthespeaker,carefullycheckthecorrectconnectiontoavoidaccidental
short circuits that can cause electric sparks. The speaker can be connected to 70V
or 100V constant voltage (high impedance) or 8 Ohm constant impedance (low
impedance) audio lines.
Make the connections using the White
(+)andBlack(-) wires in the back of the
speaker. (Fig.1)
4.1 | CONSTANT VOLTAGE SYSTEMS (Fig.2)
The input voltage of the speaker must match the voltage selected on the amplier, and
the sum of the power of all the speakers connected to the audio line must not exceed
the nominal power of the amplier.
Make the connections taking into consideration the following indications:
• Use cables of adequate section. A greater distance between the amplier and the
speakers requires larger section cables. This avoids signal losses due to line length.
• To prevent inductive phenomena from causing buzzing and disturbs, and
compromising the proper functioning of the system, the connection cables must
not be placed in the same cable duct or close to devices producing strong
magnetic elds (e.g. power transformers), conductors of electricity and
lines that power speakers. Furthermore, to minimize the inductive effects
due to coupling with electric elds, use cables with twisted conductors.
• To ensure correct sound reproduction it is necessary to connect the
speakers “in phase”. I. e. the positive and negative polarities of the amplier
must correspond to the positive (70-100V) and negative (COM) polarity
of the speaker input.
• To simplify the connection, it is possible to use bipolar cables with a
marking (e.g. different colors) which distinguishes the polarity.
4.2 | CONSTANT IMPEDANCE SYSTEMS (Fig.3)
The total load impedance of all the speakers must be higher than nominal
impedance of the amplifier and the length of the connection cables must
be reduced to the minimum.

Make sure that the connection cable between
the speaker and the amplier is working and
properly connected.
Make sure the loudspeaker power selector is set
correctly, ie too low power has not been chosen.

Make sure that the speaker power selector is set
correctly, which means that too high power has
not been chosen.

3.1 | INGRESSI & CONTROLLI
1 CAVO DI INGRESSO TERMINATO
Collegate a questi due fili il segnale proveniente dalle uscite
dell’amplicatore.
Per garantire una corretta riproduzione sonora è necessario collegare
in fase i diffusori. Fate corrispondere le polarità positive e negative
dell’amplicatore con le polarità positiva (Bianco +) e negativa (Nero -)
dell’ingresso del diffusore.
2 PRESSACAVO
Il pressacavo garantisce il grado di protezione IP55 ai collegamenti
elettrici interni al diffusore.
3 SELETTORE DI POTENZA A TENUTA STAGNA
SelettorecongradodiprotezioneIP55asetteposizioniperilcollegamento
a bassa impedenza (8Ω) o tensione costante (10W, 20W, 40W o 80W su
70V o 100V). Utilizzate un cacciavite a taglio per selezionare la modalità
desiderata.
NOTA: Tutti i diffusori della serie BBM BP/WP garantiscono il grado di
protezione IP55, nel dettaglio:
• Protezione totale alla penetrazione di corpi solidi.
• Protezione contro la penetrazione di liquidi da gocce, vapori, spruzzi e
deboli getti d’acqua in qualsiasi direzione.
• La penetrazione di polveri e liquidi non deve danneggiare l’apparecchiatura.
2| INSTALLAZIONE
I diffusori BBM BP/WP sono dotati di:

C| Piedini anti-scivolo in gomma
ATTENZIONE:
Per l'installazione si raccomanda di rivolgersi a personale qualicato.
Collocate e ssate il diffusore in modo stabile e sicuro per evitare qualsiasi
condizione di pericolo a persone e/o cose.
Installate il diffusore come spiegato nel presente manuale di istruzioni.

4| COLLEGAMENTI
Per l’installazione del diffusore e a garanzia del suo corretto funzionamento, attenetevi
scrupolosamente alle seguenti istruzioni:
• Si raccomanda di rivolgersi a personale qualificato, ossia personale avente
conoscenze tecniche, esperienza o istruzioni speciche sufcienti in grado di realizzare
correttamente le connessioni e prevenire i pericoli dell’elettricità. Tutto l’impianto di
sonorizzazione deve essere realizzato in conformità con le norme e le leggi vigenti in
materia di impianti elettrici.
• Per evitare il rischio di shock elettrici collegate il diffusore con l’impianto di amplicazione
spento.
• Prima di mettere in funzione il diffusore vericate attentamente il corretto collegamento
perevitarecortocircuitiaccidentalichepossonoprovocarescintilleelettriche.Ildiffusore
può essere collegato a linee audio a
tensione costante 70V o 100V (alta
impedenza)oaimpedenzacostante
8 Ohm (bassa impedenza).
Effettuate i collegamenti tramite i due
li intestati Bianco (+) Nero (-) nel retro
del diffusore. (Fig.1)
4.1 | IMPIANTI A TENSIONE COSTANTE (Fig.2)
La tensione d’ingresso del diffusore deve corrispondere alla tensione selezionata
sull’amplicatore e la somma della potenza di tutti i diffusori collegati alla linea audio
non deve superare quella nominale dell’amplicatore.
Effettuare i collegamenti tenendo in considerazione le seguenti indicazioni:
• Utilizzate cavi di sezione adeguata. Una maggiore distanza fra amplicatore e
diffusore, richiede cavi di sezione maggiore. Questo evita perdite di segnale lungo
la linea.
• Per evitare che fenomeni induttivi diano luogo a ronzii, disturbi e compromettano
il buon funzionamento dell’impianto, i cavi di collegamento non devono
essere posti nella stessa canalina o in prossimità di dispositivi che
producono forti campi magnetici (es. trasformatori di alimentazione),
conduttori di energia elettrica e linee che alimentano diffusori. Inoltre
per minimizzare gli effetti induttivi dovuti all’accoppiamento con campi
elettrici, utilizzate cavi con conduttori intrecciati.
• Per garantire una corretta riproduzione sonora è necessario collegare i
diffusori “in fase”. Ossia le polarità positiva e negativa dell’amplicatore
devono corrispondere con le polarità positiva (70-100V) e negativa (COM)
dell’ingresso del diffusore.
• Per semplicare il collegamento è possibile utilizzare cavi bipolari con
una marcatura (es. colori diversi) che ne distingua la polarità.
4.2 | IMPIANTI A IMPEDENZA COSTANTE (Fig.3)
L’impedenza di carico complessiva di tutti i diffusori non deve essere
inferiore all’impedenza nominale dell’amplificatore e la lunghezza dei
cavi di collegamento deve essere ridotta al minimo.

1 CÂBLE D'ENTRÉE DÉNUDÉ
Connectez le signal des sorties de l'amplicateur à ces deux ls.
Pour assurer une reproduction sonore correcte, les enceintes doivent
être connectées en phase. Faites correspondre les polarités positive
et négative de l'amplicateur avec les polarités positive (blanche +) et
négative (noire -) de l'entrée de l’enceinte.
2 SERRE-CÂBLE
Le serre-câble garantit le degré de protection IP55 des connexions
électriques à l'intérieur de l’enceinte.
3 SÉLECTEUR DE PUISSANCE ÉTANCHE
Sélecteuravec degréde protection IP55 à sept positions pour connexion
basse impédance (8Ω) ou tension constante (10W, 20W, 40W ou 80W

4| CONNEXIONS
Respectez scrupuleusement les instructions ci-dessous pour installer l’enceinte et en
garantir le bon fonctionnement :
• Il est recommandé de s'adresser à un personnel qualié, c'est-à-dire un personnel
disposant de connaissances techniques sufsantes, d'une expérience ou d'instructions
spéciques et capable de réaliser correctement les connexions et d'éviter les dangers
de l'électricité. L’ensemble du système audio doit être réalisé dans le respect des
normes et des lois en vigueur concernant les systèmes électriques.
• Pour éviter tout risque d'électrocution, connectez l'enceinte avec le système
d'amplication désactivé.
• Avant de faire fonctionner l’enceinte, vériez soigneusement le raccordement correct
pour éviter les courts-circuits accidentels pouvant causer des étincelles électriques.
L’enceinte peut être connectée à des
lignes audio à tension constante de
70 V ou 100 V (haute impédance)
ou à une impédance constante de
8 Ohm (basse impédance).
Effectuez les connexions à l’aide des
deux ls dénudés Blanc (+) Noir (-) à
l’arrière de l’enceinte. (Fig.1)
4.1 | SYSTÈMES À TENSION CONSTANTE (Fig.2)
La tension d'entrée de l'enceinte doit correspondre à la tension sélectionnée sur
l'amplicateur et la somme de la puissance de toutes les enceintes connectées à la
ligne audio ne doit pas dépasser la valeur nominale de l'amplicateur.
Établissez les connexions en tenant compte des indications suivantes :
• Utilisez des câbles de section adéquate. Une plus grande distance entre l'amplicateur
et l’enceinte nécessite des câbles de section plus grande. Cela évite les pertes de
signal le long de la ligne.
• Pour éviter que les phénomènes inductifs ne provoquent des bourdonnements et
des perturbations compromettant le bon fonctionnement du système, les câbles
de connexion ne doivent pas être placés dans le même chemin ni à
proximitéd'appareilsproduisantdeschampsmagnétiquespuissants(par
exemple des transformateurs de puissance), conducteurs d’alimentation
électrique et lignes alimentant les enceintes. De plus, pour minimiser les
effets inductifs dus au couplage avec des champs électriques, utilisez
des câbles à conducteurs torsadés.
• Pour assurer une reproduction sonore correcte, connecter les enceintes
« en phase ». C'est-à-dire que les polarités positive et négative de
l'amplicateur doivent correspondre aux polarités positive (70-100V) et
négative (COM) de l'entrée de l’enceinte.
• Pour simplier la connexion, il est possible d’utiliser des câbles bipolaires
avec un marquage (par exemple des couleurs différentes) qui distingue
la polarité.
4.2 | SYSTÈMES À IMPÉDANCE CONSTANTE (Fig.3)
L'impédance de charge totale de toutes les enceintes ne doit pas être
inférieure à l'impédance nominale de l'amplificateur et la longueur des
câbles de connexion doit être réduite au minimum.

3.1 | EINGÄNGE UND BEDIENELEMENTE
1 KONFEKTIONIERTES EINGANGSKABEL
Schließen Sie an diese zwei Drähte das von den Ausgängen des
Verstärkers bereitgestellte Signal an. Zur Gewährleistung einer
korrekten Klangwiedergabe müssen die Lautsprecher phasengleich
angeschlossen werden. Ordnen Sie die Plus- und Minus-Polarität des
Verstärkers der Plus- (Weiß +) und Minus-Polarität (Schwarz -) des
Lautsprechereingangs zu.
2 KABELVERSCHRAUBUNG
Die Kabelverschraubung garantiert die Schutzart IP55 der elektrischen
Anschlüsse im Lautsprecher.
3 WASSERDICHTER LEISTUNGSWAHLSCHALTER
Wahlschalter mit Schutzart IP55 und sieben Schaltstellungen für den
Anschluss mit geringer Impedanz (8Ω) oder konstanter Spannung (10W,
20W, 40W oder 80W bei 70V oder 100V). Stellen Sie den gewünschten
Modus mit einem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher ein.
HINWEIS: Alle Lautsprecher der Serie BBM BP/WP garantieren dieSchutzart
IP55, und zwar:
• Vollständiger Schutz gegen feste Fremdkörper.
• Schutz gegen Strahlwasser (Düse) aus beliebigem Winkel.
• DasEindringenvonStaubundWasseredarfdasGerätnichtbeschädigen.

Beachten Sie bei der Installation des Lautsprechers zur Gewährleistung seiner
einwandfreien Funktion unbedingt folgende Anweisungen:
• Wenden Sie sich bitte dafür an Fachpersonal, also an Personen, die aufgrund
ihrer technischen Kenntnisse, Erfahrung oder Unterweisungen in der Lage sind,
die Anschlüsse einwandfrei auszuführen und dabei die möglichen Stromgefahren
vermeiden können.Die gesamte Beschallungsanlagemuss gemäß deneinschlägigen
Vorschriften und Regeln für Elektroinstallationen ausgeführt werden.
• Zur Vermeidung von Stromschlaggefahren schließen Sie den Lautsprecher bei
ausgeschaltetem Verstärker an.
• Überprüfen Sie vor Einschalten den einwandfreien Anschluss des Lautsprechers,
um versehentliche Kurzschlüsse mit Bildung elektrischer Funktionen zu vermeiden.

DieEingangsspannungdesLautsprechersmussderamVerstärkereingestelltenSpannung
entsprechen, wobei die Gesamtleistung aller an der Audioleitung angeschlossenen
Lautsprecher die Nennleistung des Verstärkers nicht überschreiten darf.
Beachten Sie beim Herstellen der Anschlüsse bitte folgende Hinweise:
• Verwenden Sie Kabel geeigneten Querschnitts. Je größer der Abstand zwischen
Verstärker und Lautsprecher, umso größer der Kabelquerschnitt. Somit werden
Signalverluste in der Leitung vermieden.
• Um Brummen, Rauschen und Störungen des einwandfreien Anlagenbetriebs
durch
induktive Erscheinungen zu vermeiden, dürfen die Anschlusskabel
nicht im gleichen Kabelkanal oder in der Nähe von Geräten, die starke
elektromagnetische Felder (zum Beispiel Netztransformatoren) erzeugen,
vonStromleiternundVersorgungsleitungenderLautsprecherverlegtwerden.
Verwenden Sie zur Minimierung der durch die Kopplung mit elektrischen
Feldern verursachten induktiven Effekte Kabel mit verdrillten Leitern.
• Zur Gewährleistung einer korrekten Klangwiedergabe müssen die
Lautsprecher "phasengleich" angeschlossen werden. Die Plus- und
Minus-Polarität des Verstärkers müssen also der Plus- (70-100V) und
Minus-Polarität (COM) des Lautsprechereingangs zugeordnet werden.
• Als Anschlusshilfe können Sie zweipolige Kabel mit Markierung (z.B.
verschiedene Farben) der Polarität verwenden.
4.2 | ANLAGEN MIT KONSTANTER IMPEDANZ (Abb.3)
Die gesamte Lastimpedanz aller Lautsprecher muss mindestens
der Nennimpedanz des Verstärkers entsprechen und die Länge der
Anschlusskabel auf ein Minimum reduziert sein.
