Geachte klant,
Lees eerst aa dachtig de gebruiksaa wijzi g door voordat u uw ieuwe
koelapparaat i gebruik eemt. Hieri staat bela grijke i formatie over ee
veilig gebruik, over het opstelle e over het o derhoud va het apparaat.
De gebruiksaa wijzi g s.v.p. beware om lager og ee s iets a te ku e
leze .. Aa eve tuele volge de bezitters va het apparaat doorgeve .
Deze gebruiksaa wijzi g is voor meerdere, tech isch vergelijkbare modelle
i diverse uitvoeri ge bestemd. S.v.p. allee op de aa wijzi ge lette die
op uw apparaat betrekki g hebbe .
Met de waarschuwi gsdriehoek e /of door sig aalwoorde (Waar-
schuwing!, Voorzichtig!, Let op!) wordt de aa dacht gevestigd op aa wij-
zi ge die bela grijk zij voor uw veiligheid of voor het juist fu ctio ere
va het apparaat. Hier absoluut op lette .
Na dit symbool wordt uitleg gegeve over de bedie i g e het praktisch
gebruik va het apparaat.
Met het klaverblad worde tips e aa wijzi ge voor ee eco omische
milieuvrie delijk gebruik va het apparaat aa gegeve .

Veiligheid
De veiligheid va o ze koelapparate voldoet aa de Europese e Neder-
la dse orme . Deso da ks zie wij o s ge oodzaakt u met de volge de
veiligheidsaa wijzi ge vertrouwd te make :
Reglementaire toepassing
• Het koelapparaat is voor huishoudelijk gebruik bestemd. Het is geschikt
voor het koele , i vrieze e diepgevrore beware va leve smiddele
e voor het make va ijs. Als het apparaat voor a dere doelei de
gebruikt wordt ka de fabrika t gee vera twoordi g eme voor eve -
tuele schade .
• Het ombouwe va of vera deri ge aa het koelapparaat aa bre ge
is uit veiligheidsoverwegi ge iet toegestaa .
• Als het koelapparaat commercieel of voor a dere doelei de da voor het
koele , diepgevrore beware e i vrieze va leve smiddele gebruikt
wordt, s.v.p. lette op de hiervoor va kracht zij de wettelijke bepali ge .
Voordat het apparaat voor de eerste keer in gebruik
genomen wordt
• Co troleer het koelapparaat op tra sportschade . Ee beschadigd appa-
raat i gee geval aa sluite ! We d u i geval va schade tot de leve-
ra cier.
Koelmiddelen
Het apparaat bevat i het koelvloeistofcircuit de koelvloeistof Isobuta
(R600a), ee atuurlijk, zeer milieuvrie delijk gas, dat echter wel bra dbaar is.
• Bij het tra sport e het opstelle va het apparaat erop lette dat gee
o derdele va het koelvloeistofcircuit beschadigd worde .
• Bij beschadigi g va het koelvloeistofcircuit:
– ope vuur e bra dhaarde absoluut vermijde ;
– het vertrek waar het apparaat staat goed ve tilere .
Veiligheid van kinderen
• Verpakki gsdele (bijv. folies, piepschuim) ku e voor ki dere gevaar-
lijk zij . Verstikki gsgevaar! Verpakki gsmateriaal va ki dere weghou-
de !
• Oude apparate voor het weggooie o bruikbaar make . Stekker uit het
stopco tact trekke , stroomkabel doork ippe , eve tueel aa wezige
s ap– of gre delslote verwijdere of kapotmake . Daardoor wordt
voorkome dat spele de ki dere i het apparaat opgeslote rake (ver-
stikki gsgevaar!) of i a dere leve sgevaarlijke situaties terecht kome .

• Ki dere ku e gevare die i het omgaa met huishoudelijke appara-
te schuile vaak iet herke e . Zorg daarom voor de odige toezicht
e laat ki dere iet met het apparaat spele .
Bij dagelijks gebruik
• Co tai ers met bra dbare gasse of vloeistoffe ku e lek rake door
de i werki g va koude. Explosiegevaar! Leg gee co tai ers met bra d-
bare stoffe zoals bijv. spraybusse , aa stekers, avulli ge va aa -
stekers etc. i het koelapparaat.
• Flesse e blikke moge iet i het vriesvak. Ze ku e spri ge als de
i houd bevriest – bij koolzuurhoude de i houd zelfs explodere ! Leg
ooit limo ades, sappe , bier, wij , champag e etc. i het vriesvak. Uit-
zo deri g: sterke dra k met ee zeer hoog alcoholperce tage ka i het
vriesvak gelegd worde .
• Co sumptie-ijs e ijsblokjes iet direct va uit de vriesruimte i de mo d
steke . Zeer koud ijs ka aa de lippe of de to g vastvrieze e verwo -
di ge veroorzake .
• Niet met atte ha de aa diepvriesartikele kome . De ha de ku e
daaraa vastvrieze .
• Gee elektrische apparate (bijv. elektrische ijsmachi es, mixers etc.) i het
koelapparaat gebruike .
• Voor het schoo make het apparaat altijd uitzette e de stekker uit het
stopco tact trekke of de zekeri g i de uitschakele huisi stallatie.
• De stekker altijd aa de stekker zelf uit het stopco tact trekke , ooit aa
het s oer.
Bij storing
• Als er ee stori g aa het apparaat optreedt eerst i de gebruiksaa wij-
zi g kijke o der “Wat te doe als ...”. Als de daar gegeve aa wijzi ge
iet verder helpe zelf iet verder aa het apparaat werke .
• Koelapparate moge allee dooor geschoold perso eel gerepareerd wor-
de . Door o desku dige reparaties ku e grote gevare o tstaa . We d
u zich bij reparaties tot uw vakha del of tot o ze service-afdeli g.
Weggooien

Changing the light bulb
Warning! There is a risk of electric shocks! Before cha gi g the light bulb,

temperature regulator to positio "0".

Weggooien van oude apparaten

Waarschuwi g! Apparate die hu tijd gehad hebbe o bruikbaar make
voordat ze weggegooid worde . Stekker er afhale , ets oer doork ippe ,
eve tuele s ap- of gre delslote verwijdere of kapotmake . Hierdoor
wordt voorkome dat spele de ki dere i het apparaat opgeslote worde
(verstikki gsgevaar!) of i a dere leve sgevaarlijke situaties terechtkome .
Aanwijzingen voor het weggooien:
• Het apparaat mag iet bij het huis- of grofvuil gezet worde .
• Het koelvloeistofcircuit, i het bijzo der de warmtewisselaar aa de ach-
terka t, mag iet beschadigd worde .
• I formatie over afhaaltijde of i zamelplaatse zij te verkrijge bij de
plaatselijke rei igi gsdie st of op het gemee tehuis.

Correcting Malfunctions
A malfu ctio may be caused by o ly a mi or fault that you ca rectify
yourself usi g the followi g i structio s. Do ot perform a y other work o

your specific case.
Warning! Repairs to refrigerators/freezers may o ly be performed by
qualified service e gi eers. Improper repairs ca give rise to sig ifica t

Heavy build up of frost, possi-

Opstellen
Opstelplaats
Het apparaat i ee goed geve tileerde e droge ruimte eerzette .
De omgevi gstemperatuur heeft i vloed op het stroomverbruik.
Het apparaat daarom
– iet aa directe strali g va de zo blootstelle ;
– iet bij radiatore , aast ee kachel of a dere warmtebro e plaatse ;
– allee op ee plaats eerzette waarva de omgevi gstemperatuur over-
ee komt met de klimaatklasse waarvoor het apparaat is o tworpe .
De klimaatklassees staa op het typeplaatje dat zich li ks aa de bi e ka t
va het apparaat bevi dt.
De volge de tabel geeft aa welke omgevi gstemperatuur bij welke kli-
maatklasse behoort:
Als het o vermijdelijk is het apparaat aast ee warmtebro te plaat-se ,
aa weerszijde mi imaal de volge de afsta de aa houde :
– tot elektrische for uize 3 cm;
– tot olie- e kole for uize 30 cm.
Als me zich iet aa deze afsta de ka houde , is ee warmte-isolere -
deplaat tusse for uis e koelapparaat aa te bevele .
Als het koelapparaat aast ee a der koel- of diepvriesapparaat staat, is ee
afsta d va 5 cm aa weerszijde aa te bevele , zodat zich gee co de s
vormt aa de buite ka t va de apparate .

Energy Saving Tips
• Do ot i stall the applia ce ear cookers, radiators or other sources of
warmth. High ambie t temperatures cause lo ger, more freque t opera-
tio of the compressor.
• E sure sufficie t air circulatio a d exhaust at the applia ce base
a d at the back wall of the applia ce. Never cover air ve t ope i gs.
• Do ot place warm foods i to the applia ce. Allow warm foods to cool
first.
• O ly leave door ope as lo g as ecessary.
• Do ot set temperature a y colder tha ecessary.
• Put froze food i the fridge to defrost. The cold i the froze food will
the be used to cool the fridge.
• Keep the heat emitti g co de ser, the metall grille o the rear wall of
your applia ce, always clea .

Overzetten van het deurscharnier
Het deurschar ier ka va rechts (sta d waari het wordt afgeleverd) aar
li ks overgezet worde als dat voor de opstelplaats odig is.
Waarschuwing! Bij het overzette va de deurschar iere mag het appa-
raat iet op het licht et aa geslote zij . Va te vore de stekker uit het
stopco tact hale .
Ga nu verder als volgt te werk:
1. Trek het ve tilatierooster (D), dat
door palwerk vastgezet is, uit.
2. Verwijder het o derschar ier (E) door
de twee schroeve , die het bevesti-
ge ; verwijder de deur va de vrie-
sruimte door hem aar be ede te
schuive .
3. Draai de schroeve weer vast.

Switching off the appliance
If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period:
1. Remove all refrigerated a d deep-froze packages as well as ice trays.
2. Switch off the applia ce by tur i g the temperature regulator to positio
"0".
3. Remove the mai s plug or switch off or tur out the circuit breaker or fuse.
4. Defrost freezer compartme t a d clea thoroughly (see sectio : “Clea i g
a d Care”).
5. Leave the door ope to avoid the build up of odours.
Cleaning and Care
For hygie ic reaso s the applia ce i terior, i cludi g i terior accessories,
should be clea ed regularly.
Warning!
• The applia ce may ot be co ected to the mai s duri g clea i g. Da -
ger of electrical shock! Before clea i g switch the applia ce offa d rem
ve the plug from the mai s, or switch off or tur out the circuit breaker
or fuse.
• Never clea the applia ce with a steam clea er. Moisture could accumu-
late i electrical compo e ts, da ger of electrical shock! Hot vapours ca
lead to the damage of plastic parts.
• The applia ce must be dry before it is placed back i to service.
Attention!
• Ethereal oils a d orga ic solve ts ca attack plastic parts, e.g.
– lemo juice or the juice from ora ge peals;
– butyric acid;
– clea sers which co tai acetic acid.
Do ot allow such substa ces to come i to co tact with applia ce parts.
• Do ot use a y abrasive clea sers.
1. Remove froze food a d the food from the refrigerator. Wrap froze
food i several layers of ewspaper. Store it i a cool place, well covered.
2. Defrost the freezer compartme t prior to clea i g (see "Defrosti g" sec-
tio ).
3. Switch the applia ce off a d remove the plug from the mai s, or switch off
or tur out the circuit breaker or fuse.

Defrosting
Refrigerator
Frost is automatically elimi ated from the evaporator of the refrigerator
compartme t every time the motor compressor stops, duri g ormal use.
The defrost water drai s out through a trough i to a special co tai er at
the back of the applia ce, over the motor compressor, where it evaporates.
Freezer
The freezer compartme t, however, will become progrssively covered with
frost. This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whe-
ever the tick ess of the frost exceeds 4 mm. Duri g this operatio it is ot
ecessary to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
However whe the ice becomes very thick o the i er li er, complete
defrosti g should be carried out as follows:
1. Remove the froze food from the
freezer, wrap it i several layers of
ewspaper a d put it i a very
cool place.
2. Switch off the applia ce a d pull
out the plug, or remove or

Ice pack
There are two ice packs i o e drawer of the freezer.
I the eve t of a power failure or malfu ctio , the ice packs will le gthe
the amou t of time it takes for the froze food to become too warm by
several hours. The ice packs ca o ly fulfil this task optimally if it is placed
i the uppermost drawer, at the fro t, above the froze food. You ca use
the ice packs for cooli g cold bags.

You ca use your freezer for freezi g fresh food yourself.
Important!
• The temperature i the freezer compartme t must be –18 °C or colder
before freezi g food.
• Please observe the freezi g capacity give o the rati g plate. The free-
zi g capacity is the maximum qua tity of fresh food that ca be froze
withi a period of 24 hours. If you wish to freeze food several days i a
row, please observe a maximum capacity of o ly 2/3 to 3/4 of that o the
rati g plate. The quality of the food is best preserved whe it is froze
right through to the core as quickly as possible.
• Allow warm food to cool dow before freezi g. The warmth will cause

• Let op het op het typeplaatje aa gegeve vriesvermoge . Het vriesver-
moge is de maximale hoeveelheid verse ware die bi e 24 uur i ge-
vrore ku e worde . Als er gedure de meerdere dage achter elkaar
i gevrore wordt, eem da slechts 2/3 tot 3/4 va de hoeveelheid aa -
gegeve op het typeplaatje. De kwaliteit is beter, als de leve smiddele

• Warme leve smiddele voor het i vrieze late afkoele . De warmte leidt
tot verhoogde ijsvormi g e verhoogt het e ergieverbruik.

High ambie t temperatures (e.g. o hot summer days) a d a cold setti g o

If this happe s, tur the temperature regulator back to a warmer setti g
(positio "3" to "4"). At this setti g the compressor will be switched o a d

Het ontdooien van de koelruimte
Als de compressor loopt vormt zich op de achterwa d va de koelruimte
ee rijplaag. Deze laag wordt automatisch verwijderd, wa eer de com-
pressor stilstaat. Het dooiwater wordt i ee gootje i de achterwa d va
de koelruimte opgeva ge e via ee afvoerope i g aar ee verzamelbak
bove de compressor gevoerd, alwaar het verdampt.
Het ontdooien van de vriesruimte
I het vriesvak slaat het vocht dat o tstaat tijde s de werki g va het
apparaat e tijde s het ope e va de deur eer. Daardoor vormt zich i
de vriesruimte ee rijplaag. Deze die t regelmatig verwijderd te worde
met behulp va de speciale ku ststof schraper. Ee dikke rijplaag i de
vriesruimte beteke t ee hoger e ergieverbruik. O tdooi daarom mi ste s
éé maal per jaar, resp. als zich ee rijplaag va ca. 4 mm gevormd heeft, de-
vriesruimte. Dit ku t u het beste doe , wa eer de vriesruimte leeg of sle-
chts voor ee klei deel gevuld is.
Ga als volgt te werk:
1. Verwijder de diepvriesproducte e
bewaar ze op ee koele plaats.
2. Schakel het apparaat uit e haal de
stekker uit het stopco tact of
schakel de zekeri g i de huisi stal-
latie uit.
3. Laat de deur va de vriesruimte
ope staa .
4. Steek de ku ststof schraper i de ope-
