Thisisanair‐cooledunitequippedwithaninternalfanthatmaintainsaconsistentinternaltemperature.


InstallingYourBeverageRefrigerator 

Thebeveragerefrigeratorshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithlocalelectricalcoderequirements.It
shouldalsobeplacedinalocationthatisstrongenoughtosupportitstotalweight,keepinginmindthatit
willweighsubstantiallymorewhenfullyloadedthanwhenempty.
Beforeyouplugthebeveragerefrigeratorintoapowersupply,besuretoletitstanduprightforatleast24
hourstoallowthecompressor’soilstosettle.












Note:Thecarbonfiltershouldbereplacedevery3‐6monthsdependingontheunit’sexposurelevelto
odor.Iftheunitisplacedinakitchen,regularreplacementeverythree(3)monthsisideal.

Tip:Gatherthemodelandserialnumberfromtheproductlabelandwritethemdownbeforeinstallingthe
beveragerefrigerator.

Warning:Usetwoormorepeopletomoveandinstallthebeveragerefrigerator.Failuretodosocanresult
inbackorotherinjury.Carefullyremovethepackagingmaterials.Removeanyshippingtapeandgluefrom
yourbeveragerefrigeratorbeforeusing.Donotusesharpinstruments,rubbingalcohol,flammablefluids,
orabrasivecleanerstoremovetapeorglue.Theseproductscandamagethesurfaceofyourbeverage
refrigerator.


TYPESOFINSTALLATION:
Thisbeveragerefrigeratorhasbeendesignedforfree‐standingorbuilt‐ininstallation.Ineverycase,there
mustbeadequateventilationandaccessforservice.
Free‐standingInstallation
Afree‐standinginstallationwillallowyoutoinstallthebeveragerefrigeratorinalmostanyplaceyou
desire.Youmustfollowthestatedinstructionsforelectricalrequirementsandlevelingthebeverage
refrigerator.
Built‐inInstallation
Arecessedinstallationwillallowyoutoinstallthebeveragerefrigeratorunderacounterorinakitchen
cabinetprovidedtheclearancespacerequirementsaroundthebeveragerefrigeratorarefollowed.Itis
necessarytoallowadequateventilationspacearoundtheunit(makesurethereisatleastsome
ventilationroomforthebackoftheunit).Thefollowingadditionalitemsmustbeobserved:
1. Placethebeveragerefrigeratorinfrontoftheinstallationlocation.
2. Adjustthefeetandplacetheunitflatonthefloororonaplatformdependingonyourinstallation
requirements.
3. Iftheelectricaloutletforthebeveragerefrigeratorisbehindthecabinet,pluginthebeverage
refrigerator.
4. Pushthebeveragerefrigeratorintoposition.

InstallationClearanceRequirements:
Wheninstallingthebeveragerefrigeratorunderacounter,followtherecommendedspacingdimensionsshown.
• Toensureproperserviceaccessandventilation,allowbetween2‐3inchesofclearanceatthebackasshownin
thediagram.
• Theinstallationshouldallowtheunittobepulledforwardforservicing,ifnecessary.
• Astandardelectricalsupply(115VAConly,60Hz),properlygroundedinaccordancewithNationalElectricalCode
andlocalcodesandordinances,isrequired.




















Warning:DONOTinstallthebeveragerefrigeratorbehindaclosedcabinetdoor.

Important:Onceyouarereadytoinstalltheunitinacabinetordirectlyonthefloor,youmustadjustthe
feettolevelthebeveragerefrigerator.



LEVELING:
Thebeveragerefrigeratorshouldbeinstalledonafirmandlevelsurfacethatwillbeabletosupportthe
entireweightofafullyloadedunit.Itisimportantforthebeveragerefrigeratortobeleveledinorderto
workproperly.Itcanberaisedorloweredbyrotatingtheplasticsheathsaroundeachofthefeetonthe
bottomofthemachine.Ifyoufindthatthesurfaceisnotlevel,rotatethefeetuntilthebeverage
refrigeratorbecomeslevel.Youmayneedtomakeseveraladjustmentstolevelit.Werecommendusinga
carpenter’sleveltocheckthemachine.Turnthelevelingfeettotherighttolowerthatsideofthe
refrigerator.Turnthelevelingfeettothelefttoraisethatsideoftherefrigerator.

RECOMMENDEDGROUNDINGMETHOD:
Foryourpersonalsafety,thisappliancemustbegrounded.Itisequippedwithapowersupplycordhavinga
3‐pronggroundingplug.Tominimizepossibleshockhazard,thecordmustbepluggedintoamating3‐
prongedwallsocket,andgroundedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCodeandlocalcodesand
ordinances.Ifamatingwallsocketisnotavailable,itisthepersonalresponsibilityofthecustomertohavea
properlygrounded,3‐prongwallreceptacleinstalledbyaqualifiedelectrician.










Beforeyoumoveyourbeveragerefrigeratorintoitsfinallocation,itisimportanttomakesureyouhavethe
properelectricalconnection.Astandardelectricalsupply(115V,60Hz),properlygroundedinaccordance
withtheNationalElectricalCodeandlocalcodesandordinances,isrequired.Itisrecommendedthata
separatecircuit,servingonlyyourbeveragerefrigerator,beprovided.Usereceptaclesthatcannotbe
turnedoffbyaswitchorpullchain.
Thefuse(orcircuitbreaker)sizeshouldbe15Amps.

InstallingYourDoorHandleandShelves

INSTALLINGTHEDOORHANDLE:
1. Openthedoorandcarefullypullthedoorgasketaroundtheareawherethehandleistobeinstalled.
2. InserteachPhillipsheadscrewthroughthegasketsideofthedooruntilthescrewpassesthroughthe
door.
3. AlignthehandlewiththescrewsandtightenusingaPhillipsheadscrewdriveruntilthehandleisflush
againstthedoorframe.
Caution:Donotover‐tightenthescrewsasthismaycausedamagetothehandleortothestainlesssteel
door.
4. Carefullypressthedoorgasketintoitsoriginalposition.


ElectricalShockHazard!
 Plugintoagrounded3‐prongoutlet.
 Neverremovethegroundingprongfromtheplug.
 Neveruseanadaptertobypassthegroundingprong.
 DONOTuseanextensioncord.
