Introduction
Aelius Jupiter Series models are integrated with Bluetooth connectivity to manage and program the
features you desire. You may freely adjust the light intensity, motion detection, and timing options. The
adjustable solar panel enables the installer to direct the panel to the most advantageous direction and tilt
before securing it to the fixture .

Jupiter Fixture Installation Instructions
1. Connect the Azimuth bracket electrical quad
connector tothe light housing connector.
Be sure to line up the alignment tooth.
Complete connection by securing threaded
sleeve finger tight.
2. Place Azimuth bracket on top of circular
housing. Start to fasten the hex screws to light
body. Do not completely tighten screws as PV
panel will be adjusted after mounting the fixture
in its final position.
3. Fix the PV Panel Bracket to the solar panel.
There are 5 holes. NOTE: The side with 3 screws
will be toward the fixture when the panel is
mounted - the side with 2 screws will be
towards the sky.
4. Mount the PV panel to the Azimuth Bracket.
First insert the bottom bolt. Adjust solar panel to
desired tilt (usually angle of tilt approximates
latitude). Insert top bolt through the pre-drilled
options and tighten
5. Connect the solar panel quad connectors to
the Azimuth bracket connector. Be sure to line
up the alignment tooth. Complete connection by
securing threaded sleeve finger tight.
6. Place light fixture on pole and direct light
fixture to desired position. Tighten all six set
screws on fixture. Adjust the direction of the
solar panel and tighten the three set screws on
the Azimuth bracket.

REMEMBER
1. Handle components carefully while installing.
2. We recommend all models be installed with two people!
3. This is an automatic solar light fixture. Once the PV panel is connected, the light will turn on at
dusk and off at dawn automatically until programmed otherwise.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If there are nearby strong artificial lights hitting the PV panel, it may fool
the light sensor into thinking that it is daytime. This may cause the fixture to not turn on
during the night. Make sure there is no appreciable artificial light hitting the panel so that
this is not an issue.
4. Make sure fixture placement is in an area with adequate sun exposure to hit the solar panel.
Adjust the PV panel to the optimum azimuth and tilt angle. This is usually facing due south (180
degrees on the compass) and at a tilt angle that approximates your latitude. Call with any
questions regarding special circumstances.
5. When mounting fixture to top of pole, be sure to tighten all six set screws to the pole.
6. Use Bluetooth smart phone application (“Solar Flying”) to connect to the fixture and adjust the light
settings. (see separate Mobil App instructions).
