1. Introduction
Thank you for the preference you have given to our product and congratulate you
on the purchase of your new electric mower.
We believe that, properly maintained, this unit will provide years of trouble-free
operation and you can fully appreciate its quality, performance and comfort.
This product was designed and manufactured with the utmost care in accordance
with strict standards of security, reliability and ease of use.
Please read this manual carefully. Familiarize yourself with all the controls of the
mower before starting to use it for the first time.
Please follow all the comments, explanations and instructions in this manual for
optimal and safe use of this product.

2. Safety Instructions
Your electric mower should always be used in accordance with this manual.
This device is intended solely for mowing grass in private gardens. Any other use
not expressly permitted in these instructions may result in damage and may pose a
serious hazard to the user and is not permitted.
In particular, the unit must never be used:
- On steep land.
- On a rainy day or in a humid environment.
- From intensively.
- For children under 16.
- For unaccompanied minors.
2.1 Safety Symbols and Labels
IMPORTANT : Some of the following symbols may be used on your tool. Be sure to
study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will
allow you to use the machine more effectively and reduce the risk of accident.

2.2 Before using
−Study this manual thoroughly.
−Familiarize yourself with the operation of the lawn mower and learn to use it
properly.
−Never allow others (especially children) who have not read the manual to use
the machine.
−If the unit must be given to other people, give them as this manual.
−Never remove the labels or security elements.
−Never operate the lawnmower when safety devices are damaged or missing.
−Check that the voltage and frequency indicated on the nameplate affixed to the
electric lawnmower correspond to the power electricity supply.
−Check the condition of the blade and the clamp. Check that the cutting tools are
not dull or damaged their bindings. If necessary replace them.
−To connect the unit to the power, use only compliant equipment appropriate
and in perfect condition.
−Use a flexible extension cord for outdoor use with a maximum length of 50
meters.
−Despite the double electrical insulation of the appliance, it is recommended to
use an AC outlet according to the regulations on the protection of persons
(taken protected by 30mA RCD).
−Fully unroll your cable and do not use multiple extension cords in series.
−Keep cord away from the radius of action of the device and make sure it is not
subjected to tension. Move the cable from water, heat and sharp edges.
−Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
−Do not use the power tool if the Power On / off does not work properly. If
necessary, contact your dealer for any repair.
−Never expose the product to rain or moisture. Never allow water or other
liquids enter the machine.
−Do not operate the electric mower in environments with flammable items such
as liquids, gases or dust. The sparks generated by the operation of the machine
can cause an explosion.

−Make sure to clean the area to be treated (no stones, branches, glass, metal
and any blunt object that could damage the machine and / or be thrown against
third parties.
2.3 When using
Attention : If you cut through the extension cord by accident, you are in a situation
of serious injury and danger. Move away from the machine slowly and remove the
plug of the extension cord from the electrical outlet when it is plugged.
−Operate the mower only in daylight or good artificial lighting.
−The use of power equipment can be regulated. Remember to comply with legal
regulations which may differ from one location to another.
−Do not use the machine if you are tired or ill. Also avoid use if you have
consumed alcohol or taken drugs. A moment of inattention can result in serious
injury.
−When using, keep the hair away from the machine. Never wear loose clothing
or accessories such as tie, cord, scarf or jewelry that could get caught in the
machine.
−Wear close-fitting clothing, convenient and protect you from cuts. Always wear
long pants, sturdy and non-slip shoes, and protective equipment such as gloves,
goggles, a helmet with a visor and acoustic shield, etc.
−Do not use the machine on slopes greater than 20%.
−On a slope, use the mower across a slope, and be careful when changing
direction.
−Never run, guide the machine and move slowly.
−Observe the minimum safety distance given by the handles of the handlebar.
−Do not put hands or feet under the mower deck, and near rotating parts.
−Always stand away from the ejection port.
−When mowing, avoid obstacles such as molehills, strains, borders, concreted
bases that can not be cut by the blade, or it will damage the cutting system.
−Do not drive too close to ditches, on soft ground or there is a risk of rollover.
−In case of intervention on the machine, stop the engine and remove the power
cable.
−Be especially cautious when you turn around with the lawn mower or when you
pull it towards you.
−Make sure the control switch is switched off before plugging the power to avoid
any sudden and unexpected risk.
−The user or operator is responsible for the safety of others present in the work
area of the machine. Never mow the lawn while others, especially children, or

even pets, are nearby. Make sure that nobody can be injured by flying stones or
other objects while mowing.
−Always work in a stable position, balanced and firm. Do not work on slippery or
unstable ground.
−Never operate a damaged machine repaired poorly, poorly fitted or changed
arbitrarily.
−Do not overload the machine. Always use the proper equipment for the job.
WARNING: To reduce the time of exposure to vibration and noise, it is preferable
to use the machine with frequent breaks, and limiting the duration of continuous
work.
WARNING: The level of vibration and noise during actual use of the tool, may differ
from the total declared value depending on how the tool is used, and the need to
identify security measures protect the operator are based on an estimate of the
exposure in the actual conditions of use, taking into account all parts of the user
such as the times when the tool is turned off and when it is running cycle at the
idle.
2.4 After using
−Always unplug the unit from the power source before performing any service or
control.
−Never carry the lawnmower when it is not unplugged and completely stopped.
−Remove cutting waste and clean the dust of the mower before storing.
−Always follow the instructions provided for maintenance. Replace worn or
damaged parts.
−Do electric mower repair by qualified personnel. For safety reasons, use only
original spare parts.
−Keep the electric mower clean and keep it always disconnected in a dry place,
away from direct sunlight and out of reach of Children.
−Keep this manual carefully and consult it whenever you use the machine.
3. Instructions for use
3.1 Prepare the mower
Unauthorized modification can make dangerous machine and lead to sever injury
during use. Seller disclaims any liability in case of misuse or failure to comply with
the instructions and / or regulations in force.

3.1.1 Assembly the mower
Caution: Do not plug the device to the power supply until you have completely
assembled unit!
−Carefully unpack all parts. Check for all elements of the apparatus. Ensure the
cleanliness and condition of all these parts. If in doubt, contact your dealer.
−Assemble the two parts of the collection box to each other by matching the
male fastener elements and female.
−Install the two lower as shown in fig.1.
−Place the upper handle and lock as shown in fig.2
−Attach the grass catcher as shown in fig.3.

3.1.2 Adjusting the cutting height
CAUTION: It is essential to disconnect the machine to adjust the cutting height.
For a better result, always adapt the cutting height of your mower to the conditions
of mowing. If the grass is too high, it is better to cut two crossings rather than
trying to cut at one time once which is at risk of overload the machine.
In general, cut only half the height of the grass. The cutting height adjustment is
done by turning the machine upside down, by setting each axle to three positions
to choose 25mm, 43mm or 62mm.Fig 4.
3.2 Operating the mower
Before using, always visually check the presence and correct operation of safety
devices. Also check the status of the cutting blade and its attachment. If necessary,
replace or repair the defective parts.
Use only original parts or approved by Villager. If possible, do not use this machine
when the grass is wet.
Preferably mow when the grass is dry. If the grass is wet or is too high, make two
crossings: mower the maximum height firstly to avoid overloading the mower and
then the final height. If the grass had accumulated under the deck, stop the
machine and remove the power outlet before clearing the cutting unit.

3.2.1 Starting the mower
−Before starting the machine, refer to the safety of using the electric
mower. Make sure the mower is off before plugging into a socket to
avoid accidental start.
−Connect the electric mower to an appropriate safety approved
extension through the cable hook Fig 5 and 6.
−Make sure the extension cord is long enough for the job. It is
recommended to use a brightly colored cable.
−Plug in the extension cord into a socket approved.
−Start the mower in a cleared area. Do not start the motor when the blade is not
located in contact with the grass too high and uncut as it may cause difficult
starting.
−Stand behind the handlebars. Keep a distance between you and the cup.
−Press the safety switch (2), and simultaneously pull the Handle ON / OFF control
(1) to the handlebar. Fig .7.
−While holding the lever on / off on the handle, release the safety button.
−Hold the handle with both hands and wait a few seconds until the motor has
started working.

3.2.2 Mowering tips
−Fully unroll the power cord.
−Start working preferably beginning with the nearest part of the electrical outlet
you are away from as Fig.8.
−When mowing, make sure that the extension cord is always drawn behind you
the side already done.
−The cable hook allows you to easily pass the extension to one side or the other
of the machine when you change direction, to prevent it from being
disconnected or they are sectioned.
Remark: To reduce the risk of falling, be sure to run the extension on the other
side of your legs before turning back.
−Turn around on an already mowed not to crush the grass part.
−Make parallel passes, overlapping slightly.
3.2.3 Stop the mower
−Release the control handle on / off (Fig.7) to stop the machine.
−The machine stops completely after a few seconds.
−Disconnect the outlet for safety.

3.3 Cleaning, maintenance, transportation and storage
Before any work on the electric mower, remove the plug!
3.3.1 Cleaning the mower
−Regular cleaning after use will ensure a better functioning and greater life of the
electric mower.
−Tilt the machine on its side and clean the cutting of grass remains off with a
spatula and brush. Straighten the mower on its wheels.
−Clean grass catcher with a brush or water jet to keep the vents clear. Let it dry
naturally and put it into place later.
−Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth. Never clean plastic with a chemical
that might damage them.
3.3.2 Maintenance of the mower
Cutting system
Before and after each use, check the blade, the blade bolts and cutter assembly are
not worn or damaged. A deformed or worn blade must be replaced. Never
straighten a bent blade. When the blade is damaged, replace it as soon as possible.
Use only original parts or approved by Villager.
Excessive vibration during operation of the machine must warn you because it
comes a very often problem with the cutting system.

WARNING: Never work with a bent or damaged blade, because it generates
vibrations and may cause damage to the mower. Never work with excessively worn
blade because you might hurt yourself.
WARNING: It is better for security reasons, to entrust all the work (replacement
and / or sharpening blades, repair of the cutting system), a specialized workshop.
Sharpen the blade
For best results, make sharpen and balance the blade at least once a year by a
specialist workshop.
Remove the blade.
Get yourself a pair of gloves to avoid injury when handling the blade.
Disconnect the plug and tilt the mower on its side.
Loosen the screws holding the blade with a wrench while holding the blade firmly
with one hand and stuck with a plank of wood.
Install the blade
Get yourself a pair of gloves to avoid injury when handling the blade.
Disconnect the plug and tilt the mower on its side.
Ensure the cleanliness and condition of the blade support and screw blade.
Place the blade on the support, cooling fins to the motor. Check the alignment of
the blade and centering pins of the support with the blade. The blade must be
perfectly positioned on the support.
Tighten the screw until it touches all parts. Make a final visual inspection of the
alignment of all parts and tighten screw firmly with a wrench while holding the
blade with one hand and stuck with a plank of wood.

3.3.3 Transport and storage of the mower
Do not lift or carry the device without having totally disconnected from the outlet
sector. Loosen the fasteners upper handle to fold the handlebars. Be careful not to
pinch or bend the power cable.
CAUTION: When you fold the handlebars, keep your fingers away from joints to
avoid injury.
−Keep clean and dry electric mower when it is in any case protected against rust.
−Keep it always in a dry height and dark.
−Keep power tools out of the reach of children.
−is not advisable to cover the lawn with a tarp because it could cause an
accumulation of moisture on thedevice and cause corrosion and / or electrical
problems.
−For long-term storage and / or winter, wipe all metal parts with a cloth soaked
with oil or spray with cooking spray on these parts.

6. Protection of the environment
To act for the protection of the environment, we recommend taking consider the
following.
Use a biodegradable lubricating oil.
Take care of your lawn mower regularly and replace damaged parts.
When your device is end of life, return it to your dealer for recycling.
Waste Disposal
According to the European Directive on the disposal of waste electrical and
electronic equipment, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected and
follow a path of appropriate recycling. Do not dispose of electric tools together
with household waste.

2. Bezbednosne instrukcije
Vaša električna kosačica se uvek mora koristiti u skladu sa ovim uputstvom.
Ovaj uredjaj je namenjen samo za košenje trave u privatnim vrtovima. Svaka
drugačija upotreba koja nije posebno navedena u ovom uputstvu - može dovesti do
oštećenja i može stvoriti oziljnu opasnost po korisnika i nije dozvoljena.
Uredjaj se posebno ne sme koristiti u sledećim slučajevima:
- Na strmoj zemlji.
- Po kišnom danu niti u vlažnom okruženju.
- Intenzivno.
- Deca ispod 16 godina starosti.
- Maloletnici bez nadzora.
2.1 Sigurnosni simboli i nalepnice
VAŽNO: Neki od sledećih simbola mogu biti korišćeni na Vašem uredjaju. Obavezno

2.2 Pre početka korišćenja

shvatile ovo uputstvo –da rukuju ovim uredjajem.
−Ukoliko uredjaj prosledjujete drugoj osobi (prodajete, pozajmljujete i sl) –
obavezno uz uredjaj, dajte i ovo uputstvo.
−Nikada nemojte uklanjati nalepnice niti sigurnosne elemente.
−Nikada nemojte raditi sa električnom kosačicom, ukoliko su bezbednosna
sredstva oštećena ili nedostaju.
−Proverite da li su napon i frekvencija koji su naznačeni na nazivnoj pločici sa
tehničkim karakteristikama (koja je pričvršćena na uredjaj) - u saglasnosti sa
karakteristikama napojne električne mreže.
−Proverite stanje noža i steznog elementa. Proverite da rezni alati nisu tupi ili
oštećeni, da nisu oštećeni stezni elementi. Po potrebi – zamenite ih.
