6. In case of manual transmission vehicles
If the vehicle is not placed in neutral, accidents may happen when trying to start
the engine with the remote control. Therefore, this product allows the remote
engine start only if the vehicle is parked through 'manual parking mode' to
prevent the accidents.
To stop the engine without entering 'manual parking mode', turn
the ignition key to ACC position or remove the key and press
the brake pedal. Then 'manual parking mode' is canceled.
Even after 'manual parking mode' is released, reopening door
disables remote engine start because the transmission may not be
in neutral by mistake. Thus, after opening the door, to return to
the 'manual parking mode', start the engine by turning the ignition
key without pressing the brake pedal, remove the ignition key
in 1 second, open door, exit the vehicle, and close the door.
Then the engine stops and the vehicle is in the 'manual parking
mode'.
