1. AIRPULSE subwoofer is designed to deliver punchy bass and give you a stunning
audio experience for all your movies and music.
2. For the optimum performance, place the subwoofer in a corner of the same wall
as that of the front speaker to enhance bass output; otherwise the bass output
will be weakened if the subwoofer is placed in the middle of a wall or outside the
room.
3. You can try a variety of placements and control settings to find your preferred
ones.
Note: When setting up the subwoofer, connect its built-in amplifier to an AC power
socket.

Method A
Connect the "SUBWOOFER PRE OUT", "SW OUT" or "SUB OUT" port on the preamplifier/
av receiver/active speaker to the "LINE IN" port on SW8 using the RCA audio cable.
Before connection, please ensure that SW8 is connected to a power source and the
"VOLUME" knob is rotated to "MIN".
Method B
If the preamplifier, av receiver, etc. has an "LFE" output port, connect it to the
"L/LFE" input port on SW8 and set the "CROSSOVER" knob on SW8 to "LFE".

1. STANDBY
- Blue light on: work mode
- Red light on: standby mode
When powered on, SW8 will auto-enter
standby mode if no signal input is received
for 20 minutes. The indicator light turns red.
In standby mode, SW8 will auto-enter work
mode when a signal is input. The indicator
light turns blue.
2. VOLUME
Rotate towards "MIN" to decrease volume;
rotate towards "MAX" to increase volume.
To connect the subwoofer to the "SUB OUT"
port on a av receiver, first set the subwoofer
volume control on this amplifier to "HALF"
or "0 dB", then increase the subwoofer
volume to match the output volume of the
main speaker. Once set up, the main amplifier
volume control or preamplifier volume control
of your audio system can sync with the
volume control of the subwoofer and other
speakers.
3. CROSSOVER
The selected crossover point determines
the cut-off point for the bass.
When setting the crossover point on a av
receiver, rotate the "CROSSOVER" knob on
the subwoofer to the right maximum value
(160Hz) and set the crossover point based
on the size of the left/right main speakers.
For larger floor-standing speakers, generally set
the crossover point between 50Hz and 90Hz.
For small bookshelf speakers or satellite
speakers, set the crossover point between
90Hz and 150Hz. The smaller the speaker,
the higher the crossover frequency. You can
try adjusting the crossover point until it works
well with other speakers.
4. PHASE
Acoustically match the subwoofer output with
the main speaker output.
Select "0°" or "180°" phase to check which
phase will produce the most bass output at
your listening position.
5. LINE IN (L/LFE & R)
Connect to the "SUBWOOFER PRE OUT", "SW
OUT" or "SUB OUT" port on the preamplifier/
av receiver/active speaker.
If the preprocessor, preamplifier, av receiver,
etc. has an "LFE" output port, connect it to the
"L/LFE" input port on SW8. After connecting
to "LFE", rotate the "CROSSOVER" knob on
SW8 to the maximum value (160Hz).
6. POWER ON/OFF
Turn on/off speaker power.
7. AC INPUT
Connect to plug of power cord.
8. Power indicator
Turn on the speaker, and the indicator light is on.
