GENERAL
The Airsled Stacked Dryer Shelf Kit is an accessory that can be used to safely and easily remove dryers
that are stacked on top of washing machines. This kit is specifically designed to be used with an Airsled
system and a Tall AllDolly®. Attempting to use this kit for other than its intended purpose may lead to
injury and damage to surrounding property and equipment.
SAFETY WARNING
Residential, stacked, laundry equipment can be difficult to move. Issues such as space constraints,
overall equipment weight and size, flooring conditions and actual installation factors (e.g., electric,
plumbing, etc.) can pose a risk during the move. Prior to using the Airsled Stacked Dryer Shelf Kit, identify
any possible issues and obstacles that may impact the move so that you can plan and prepare
accordingly for maximum safety. The Airsled Stacked Dryer Shelf Kit has specific safety features that
MUST be used during the move. Failure to use these safety features may lead to injury and/or damage.
The Airsled Stacked Dryer Shelf Kit is rated to support 400 lbs. when used with a Tall AllDolly.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE –DRYER REMOVAL
In many residential, stacked laundry equipment installations, both the washer and dryer may need to be
pulled out as a first step to gain access to necessary connections, components, or areas of the
equipment. When the stacked equipment is installed on a smooth, flat surface, an Airsled Appliance
Mover may be used to move the entire stacked, washer and dryer set. If you are not familiar with Airsled
Appliance Movers, you can view instructional and how-to videos at https://airsled.com/videos/
demonstrating how Airsled Appliance Mover system are used. Information about the Tall AllDolly can be
found at https://alldolly.com/.
Step 1: When sufficient and safe access is possible, disconnect any
brackets and safety mechanisms connecting the washer
and dryer. If connecting brackets are not disconnected, you
will be unable to remove the dryer. Different machines have
different safety brackets. The image to the right is intended
as a reference. Safety brackets will need to be reconnected
when the dryer is placed back onto the washing machine.
Step 2: Position the Tall AllDolly’s solid, support beam a ½” below the washer’s top. Once in position,
lock the beam in place by turning the respective knobs. Then align the two short supports (see
red) at the same elevation as the beam and tighten them as well.
Step 3: Place the HDPE shelf on the supports with the information sticker facing the equipment. Both
locking screws on the Tall AllDolly short supports MUST pass through the respective holes in the
HDPE shelf as shown below to lock the AllDolly legs in place for safety. All AllDollies come with
these two locking screws. However, each Airsled Stacked Dryer Shelf Kit includes a set of locking
screws in case the original ones are missing. DO NOT USE the Airsled Stacked Dryer Shelf Kit
without both locking screws in place as shown in the images below.
Step 4: Verify that the HDPE shelf is in line with the top of the washer and adjust the shelf’s elevation as
needed. With elevation set, secure the two locking clamps around the AllDolly legs to ensure the
shelf stays in place during the move. Once locked, you can position and secure the L shaped
safety stopper with the two clevis pins. The middle setting is recommended.

Step 5: The ½” thick HDPE shelf should be tight up against the washer’s top with little to no gap between
the two surfaces. Some washing machine designs have a curved front that can create a gap. If a
gap is present, Airsled’s Rough Surface Adapters (RSAs) can be placed over the gap to create a
continuous track. Once you are satisfied with the placement of the HDPE shelf (with or without
the RSAs), position the air beams under the dryer. They should pass completely under the dryer
and extend out the back.
Step 6: Connect all the Airsled components and turn on the blower to perform the move. Pulling the air
beams by the inlets is recommended. The safety stopper acts as a guide to ensure the dryer is
not pulled too far forward. The entire dryer must be pulled far enough forward so that is clears the
washing machine’s top.
Step 7: After the dryer has been pulled forward and has cleared the washing machine, you can turn off
your Airsled, remove the air beams and safely roll the dryer to the desired location.
WARNING
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOWER THE DRYER. THE ALLDOLLY
AND ARISLED STACKED DRYER SHELF KIT ARE INTENDED TO
ONLY SUPPORT THE LOAD AT THE FIXED HEIGHT REQUIRED
TO SAFELY REMOVE THE DRYER. ATTEMPTING TO LOWER
THE DRYER BY LOOSENING THE ALLDOLLY KNOBS MY LEAD
TO INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE –DRYER RETURN
When the dryer needs to be returned to its original installation on top of the washing machine, perform the
following steps.
Step 1: Roll the AllDolly and dryer directly in front of the washing machine. If a gap exists between the
edge of the HDPE shelf and washing machine, slide both RSAs under the dryer so they extend
out the back and cover the gap. Position the air beams under the dryer so that their edges clear
the top of the washing machine.
Step 2: Connect the Airsled system to the air beams and proceed with moving the dryer back into place.
Make sure that the dryer is fully over the washer before turning off your Airsled.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
ALL SAFETY BRACKETS ATTACHING THE WASHER AND DRYER
THAT WERE DISCONNECTED MUST BE RECONNECTED.
