During the first operation:
As the heating elements are covered with a light film of oil at the factory for protection
reasons, you will notice a slight smell of burning and possibly some smoke when you first
use the appliance. This is quite normal at first and is caused by the oil film being burnt off
by the heating elements during operation.
Important safety instructions:

- Please note that the heater can become very hot during operation, so always keep a
sufficient distance from flammable or highly flammable objects!
- Do not place the heater directly next to a power socket!
- Do not use a timer or automatic on/off switch in conjunction with this heater!
- Never use the heater on moving surfaces, objects or vehicles! There is a risk of the
heater tipping over.
- It is recommended to use a separate power source (socket) only for supplying the
heater. (Please do not use multiple sockets to operate the heater.) Furthermore,
please ensure that the power cable is always laid at a sufficient distance from the heat
source.

sufficient space/clearance around the appliance!
- Ensure that there is sufficient air supply to the appliance, otherwise this can lead to a
reduction in performance and, in the worst case, to overheating and/or fire!
- Only qualified personnel or electricians are permitted to open the appliance!
- Make sure that no water gets into or onto the appliance!
- Ensure a minimum distance of 60 cm from bathtubs, showers or swimming pools!
- Only use the recommended voltage for operating the appliance!
- Make sure that the power cable is unfolded (untied) before you connect it to the
socket!

Instructions for use:
1. Commissioning
1.1. Insert the mains plug properly into the socket.
1.2. Switch the appliance on with the On / Off button. The appliance starts operating at
level 1.
Notes: This appliance is equipped with an anti-tilt device that stops the appliance if it falls
over or is not placed on a stable surface.
If you are not making any settings on the display, the appliance will show you the currently
measured room temperature and the currently selected appliance setting on the display.
The temperature display only shows the exact room temperature after approx. 20 minutes
of operation, as enough air has then been circulated to make a reliable statement.
If it is a larger room, it may well be that the temperature measured by the appliance in its
immediate vicinity differs from the room temperature at the other end of the room.
1.3. Select the desired device setting using the "Mode" button (left button).
= Level 1 (low operating level with 1,000 W heat output)
= Level 2 (highest operating power with 2,000 W heat output)
= Automatic mode (The appliance heats up to 21°C automatically.
At temperatures below 17°C, the heater operates at level 2 and at
temperatures between 17°C ~ 21°C at level 1. If the room temperature is
(already) above 21°C, the heater switches itself off completely).
= Frost monitor mode (The appliance heats automatically to 7°C. Once
the temperature is reached, the heater switches off automatically. The
appliance switches on again automatically as soon as the temperature
drops below 7°C. This prevents temperatures below 7°C).
1.4. If you are operating the appliance in normal heating mode (level 1 or level 2), you can
freely set your target temperature. Use the buttons for setting the target temperature to
set the desired temperature switch-off point (7 ~ 35°C). Whenever it gets colder in the
room, the appliance automatically starts heating and when the set temperature is
reached again, the appliance automatically switches off again.

Note: A short fan run-on may occur at high temperatures. When the internal thermostat
or the heating coil has cooled down sufficiently, the fan also switches off immediately.
1.5. If you want to activate/use the timer function (function for determining the remaining
running time or function for specifying a start time), press the TIMER buttons.
Determining the remaining running time:
Press the "Minus" TIMER button during operation
to set the desired remaining running time of the dehumidifier. (A value between 0.5 -
24 hours can be selected in 30-minute increments). After this selected operating time
has elapsed, the appliance switches off completely.
Determining a start time:
Press the "Plus" TIMER button during operation to select the desired start time. (A
value between 0.5 - 24 hours can be selected in 30-minute increments). After the
setting, the appliance switches off the heating function and after the selected duration
has elapsed, the appliance switches the heating function on automatically (with the
last settings used).
1.6. With the oscillation button, you can also optionally rotate your heater.
activate. Press the oscillation button again to stop the rotation.
Note: The heater automatically returns to the starting position when you switch off the
oscillator function or switch off the appliance.
1.7. You can also control all the settings and functions of your fan heater with the remote
control included in the scope of delivery.
The remote control requires a (CR2025) button cell battery (not included)!
2. Switch off
Press the On / Off button to switch off. The appliance continues to run for a few seconds to
cool down (without heating function) before it switches off completely.

- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the outside of the housing.
- Only use mild cleaning agents to clean your heater.
- It is also important to ensure that no aggressive cleaning agents are used, as these
can damage your appliance!
- Please ensure that no water gets inside your heater at any time!
3.2 Storage:
- We recommend that you put the appliance back in its original box for storage.
- Store the heater in a dry and sufficiently ventilated place.

Troubleshooting
The heater only provides "lukewarm" performance
The outlet temperature depends on the inlet temperature. As a rule, this is approx. 30-40°C
above the inlet temperature and the room is heated by the fact that, as with a normal
radiator, the room air is constantly circulated and the associated repeated heating (heating
progression).
If you are using the electric heater in a very cold room, e.g. in a garage at 5°C or even
colder, then it would be normal if the outlet temperature is only "lukewarm", as the electric
heater cannot heat this air to "hot" in the short time that the air passes through the heating
rods. This would only be possible with the fan switched off, but firstly the air would then not
be distributed evenly in the room and secondly the appliance would lose a lot of its overall
heating effectiveness.
