To update the firmware:
•Turn off the power to the device.
•Press and hold the service button.
•Connect the device to a PC via USB.
•Release the service button when loAd appears on the display.
•Run the firmware updater
Firmware_embSoft_smi2m_v1.0.8_EN.exe - For English firmware
Firmware_embSoft_smi2m_v1.0.8_DE.exe - For German firmware

Port information can be found in the Device Manager window of your operating system.

To close the window, press the second active button.
After rebooting the device, it can be used.
