Vorbereitung:
1. Schalten Sie die Elterneinheit und die/alle Babyeinheit(en) aus, indem Sie kurz die Taste gedrückt
halten, bis das Display komplett leer ist
Elterneinheit:
2. Halten Sie die TALK-Taste auf der Rückseite der Elterneinheit gedrückt
3. Nun halten Sie die Taste für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis sich die Elterneinheit einschaltet und P/
PAIRING am Display mit einem blinkenden P erscheint. Jetzt lösen Sie beide Tasten
Erste Babyeinheit:
4. Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt, bis sich zuerst die Babyeinheit nach ca. 3 Sekunden einschaltet und dann
‘P’ im Display nach mindestens weiteren 2 Sekunden anfängt zu blinken, nun lösen Sie die Taste
5. Mit den Tasten und wählen Sie die entsprechende Babyeinheit aus (wählen Sie ‘baby-1’ für die erste
Babyeinheit, ‘BABY-2’ für die zweite Einheit, etc.) und drücken Sie
6. Mit den Tasten und wählen Sie den ersten Buchstaben des Namens und tippen Sie die M-Taste
7. Wiederholen Sie dies für alle folgenden Buchstaben (‘Leerzeichen’ kommt direkt nach ‘ABC’, gefolgt von
den Ziffern 1 bis 9. Der Name kann aus maximal 8 Zeichen bestehen)
8. Danach drücken Sie kurz die Taste , um den Namen zu speichern und dann drücken Sie kurz die Taste
erneut, um die Babyeinheit an der Elterneinheit zu registrieren
9. Jetzt schalten Sie die Babyeinheit aus (die Taste ) und legen sie für einen Moment beiseite
Zusätzliche Babyeinheiten:
10. Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 4 bis 9 für alle weiteren Babyeinheiten
Ausschalten:
11. Nachdem alle Babyeinheiten laut obigem Verfahren registriert sind, schalten Sie die Elterneinheit aus,
indem Sie kurz die Taste drücken
12. Jetzt schalten Sie die Elterneinheit und Babyeinheit(en) normal aus, wie in Abschnitt 4.2 beschrieben.

The DBX-68 is capable of registering up to 4 baby units. This way you can monitor 4 babies and because you can
assign an individual name to each unit, you can directly determine which child is crying. Additionally, for each baby
unit you can set the talk-back function, feeding timer, room temperature, lullabies and night light.
TO REGISTER & ASSIGN A NAME:
Attention: only during registration a name can be assigned to the baby unit. If the baby unit is already registered and
you only need to adjust or set the name, you’ll only be able to this this by following the registration process again.
When you’re only expanding your setup, ALL baby units must be registered (again), i.e. also the baby units that were
previously registered. However, the names of baby units previously registered will remain in the memory.
preparation:
1. switch off the parent unit and the/all baby unit(s) by briefly pressing and holding the button until
the display is completely empty
parent unit:
2. press and hold the TALK button on the rear of the parent unit
3. now press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds until the parent unit turns on and P/
PAIRING appears in the display with the P flashing. Now release both buttons
first baby unit:
4. press and hold the button until first the baby unit switches on after approx. 3 seconds and then
‘P’ starts flashing in the display after another 2 seconds or more, now release the button
5. use the and buttons to select the respective baby unit (select ‘baby-1’ for the first baby unit,
‘BABY-2’ for the second unit, etc.) and press
6. use the and buttons to select the first letter of the name and tap the M button
7. repeat this for all of the following letters (‘space’ is located directly after the ‘ABC’, followed by the
numbers 1 through 9. The name may consist of a maximum of 8 characters)
8. when finished, briefly press the button to store the name and then briefly press the button
again to register the baby unit on the parent unit
