GASCYLINDERINFORMATION
•Thisapplianceisdesignedtobeusedwithagascylindernotexceeding(Australia9KG)
•Thegascylindersupplyvalvemustbeturnedoffwhentheapplianceisnotinuse.
•Gascylindersmustbestoredoutdoors,outofreachofchildrenandmustnotbestoredinabuilding,garageor
anyotherenclosedarea.
•Thegascylinderusedmustincorporateasafetycollartoprotectthevalveassembly.
*Neverstoreasparecylinderunderthebarbecueshelvesorinsidethetrolleyhousing.Any
LPGcylindernotattachedtotheBBQforuseshouldbestoredoutdoorsandwellawayfromthisappliance.
IMPORTANT:
•Whendisconnectingandremovingthegascylinderforthepurposeofrefilling,alwaysobservethefollowing
procedure.
•Ensurethatallgascontrolvalvesontheapplianceandthegascylinderareturnedoffbeforedisconnectingthe
regulatorfromthecylinder.
•Donotsmokeoruseanakedflameneartheapplianceorgascylinderwhiledisconnectingthegaslinebetweenthe
applianceandgascylinder.
•Removethegascylinderfromtheenclosurebeforedisconnectingtheregulatorfromtheappliance.
•Tightenallconnectionsbeforeplacingthegascylinderbackinitsenclosure.
•Thegasleaktestingprocedureshouldbeconductedeverytimethegascylinderisrefilledandreconnectedtothe
appliancebeforeusingtheappliance.
RegulatorConnection
1. Checkthatallcontrolknobsareinthe‘Off’position.
2. Makesurethecylindervalveisoff.
3. Removetheprotectivecapfromthecylinderifpresent.
4. Leaktesttheconnectionwithasoapywatersolution.
GasLeakTestProcedure
Neveruseanakedflametocheckforgasleaks.
Alwaysusethefollowingproceduretocheckforgasleaks.
1. Inasmallcontainer,mixupasolutionofwaterand
detergentorsoap.Mixthesolutionwell.
2. Makesurethatthegassupplyvalveonthegascylinder
isturnedon.
3. Makesurethatthegascontrolvalvesontheappliance
areallturnedoff.
4. Usingabrushorspraybottleapplythesolutiontothe
gaslineandeachjoininthegasline.
5. Bubblingofthesolutionwillindicatethatthereisaleak
present.
6. Re‐tightenorre‐sealanyjointsthatareleaking.
7. Ifaleakpersiststhencontactyourdistributororthe
manufacturerforassistance.

LIGHTINGYOURBARBECUE
Thisbarbecueisdesignedforuseoutdoors,awayfromanyflammablematerials.
Itisimportantthattherearenooverheadobstructionsandthatthereisaminimumdistanceof1000mmfromthe
sideorrearoftheappliance.
Itisimportantthattheventilationopeningsofthecylindercompartmentarenotobstructed.
Thebarbecuemustbeusedonalevel,stable,non‐flammablesurface.
Theapplianceshouldbeprotectedfromdirectdraughtsandshallbepositionedorprotectedagainstdirect
penetrationbyanytricklingwater(e.g.rain).
Partssealedbythemanufacturerorhisagentmustnotbealteredbytheuser.
Nomodificationsshouldbemadetoanypartofthisbarbecueandrepairsandmaintenanceshouldonlybecarriedout
byaregisteredserviceengineer
DONOTletchildrenoperateorplayneargrill.
DONOTusecharcoalorceramicbriquettesinagasgrill
DONOTlightorusethesideburnerwiththelidintheclosedposition.
DONOTattempttolightburnerwithlidclosed.Abuildupofnon‐ignitedgasinsideaclosedgrillishazardous
Thesideburnerisdesignedforpot/panwithdiameter60‐260mm.Sideburnerlidcannotbe
usedasworktable,donotputanythingonthesideburnerlidwhileitisnotworking
‐LightingtheAppliance
1. OpenthelidandmakesurealltheknobsareintheOFFposition.
2. PushdowntheknobandturntheknobanticlockwisetoHIGHposition,thenkeeppressingtheigniterfor2‐3
seconds(asoundcanbeheard),thustheburnerwillignite.Iftheburnerdoesnotlight,turnofftheknob
andwaitfor5minutesthenrepeatthisprocess.
3. AdjusttheheatbyturningtheknobtotheHigh/Lowposition.
4. Tolightotherburners,repeatthesameprocessfortheadjacentburnerandcontinueinsequenceuntilall
theburnersarelit.
5. ToturnthebarbecueOFF,turnthecylindervalveorregulatorswitchtothe“OFF”positionandthenturnallofthe
controlknobsonthebarbecueclockwisetothe“OFF”position.
ForMatch‐Lighting:
1. Followaboveinstructionstep1‐3.
2. Placethematchintomatchholderchainandfirethematch,thenputthematchintotheburners
3. PushdownandturntheknobanticlockwisetoHIGHposition,thentheburnercanbelit.Iftheburnerdoes
notlight,turnoffthegastapandwaitfor5minutesthenrepeatthisstep2‐3.
Beforecookingforthefirsttime,turnonallthemainburnersandkeepburningfor10minuteswiththelidclosed
andknobsatLOWposition.Thiswill“heatclean”theinternalpartsanddissipateodourfromanypaintedfinish.

Thecolorofthecookingareamaychangealittle.Thisisnormalforstainlesssteelwhensubjecttohighheat.
Whileignitingmainburnersandinfraredrearburner,pleasemakesurethelidformainburnersisinopen
position.
Whileignitingsideburner,pleasemakesurethelidforsideburnerisinopenposition.
Whilecookingwiththehoodclosedandwithalltheburnerson,pleasemakesureallburnersaresettoLOW
position.
CLEANINGANDCARE
AllcleaningandmaintenanceshouldbecarriedoutwhenthebarbecueiscoolandwiththefuelsupplyturnedOFFat
thegascylinderaftereachuse.
DONOTmistakebrownorblackaccumulationofgreaseandsmokeforpaint.Interiorsofgasgrillsarenotpaintedat
thefactory(andshouldNEVERbepainted).Applyastrongsolutionofdetergentandwateroruseagrill
cleanerwithbrushoninsidesofgrilllidandbottom.Rinseandallowtocompletelyairdry.
DONOTapplyacausticgrill/ovencleanertopaintedsurfaces.
DONOTuseabrasiveorflammablecleanersasitwilldamagepartsoftheproductandmaystartafire.
Stainlesssteelsurfaces:Stainlesssteelwillcorrodeifnotmaintained.Tomaintainyourgrill’shighqualityappearance,
washwithmilddetergentandwarmsoapywaterandwipedrywithasoftnonabrasiveclothaftereachuse.For
furtherinformation,pleaserefertoourwebsite.
Cookinggrid:Useamildsoapywatersolution.Non‐abrasivescouringpowdercanbeusedonstubbornstains
thenrinsewithwater.
Cleaningtheburnerassembly
Followtheseinstructionstocleanpartsofburner
assemblyorifyouhavetroubleignitinggrill.
1. TurngasoffatcontrolknobsandLPTank.
2. Removecookinggrates,greasetrayandgreasecup.
3. Removescrewatendofburnerusingascrewdriver.
4. Carefullylifteachburnerupandawayfromvalveopenings.
5. Wirebrushentireoutersurfaceofburnertoremovefood
residueanddirt.
6. Cleananyblockedportswithastiffwiresuchasanopenpaperclip.
7. Checkburnerfordamage,duetonormalwearandcorrosionsome
holesmaybecomeenlarged.Ifanylargecracksorholesarefound
replaceburner.
8. Carefullyrefitburners.
9. Replacescrewattheendofburner.
10. Replacegreasetrayandcookinggrates.

Inspectburnerforanydamage(cracksorholes).Ifdamageisfound,replacewithanewburner.Reinstallthe
burner,checktoensurethatthegasvalveorificesarecorrectlypositionedandsecuredinsidetheburnerinlet.
Wesuggestthefollowingwaystocleantheburnertubes.
(A) Bendastiffwireintoasmallhook.Runthehookthrough
eachburnertubeandburner,severaltimes.
(B) Useanarrowbottlebrushwithaflexiblehandle(DONOTuseabrasswirebrush),runthebrushthrougheach
burnertubeandburner,severaltimes.
(C) Weareyeprotection:useanairhosetoforceairintotheburnertubeandouttheairports.Checkeachportto
makesureaircomesouteachhole.
NATURALHAZARDSPIDERS
FACT:sometimesspidersandotherinsectsclimbinto
thegrilltubesattachedtotheburners.Thespidersspinwebs,
buildnestsandlayeggs.Thewebsornestscanbeverysmall,
buttheyareverystrongandcanblocktheflowofgas.
Cleanburnerspriortouseafterstoring,atthebeginningofgrilling
seasonorafteraperiodofonemonthnotbeingused.
Spiderguardsareontheairintakesinanefforttoreducethisproblem,
butitwillnoteliminateit!Anobstructioncanresultina“flashback”
(afireintheburnertubes).Thegrillmaystilllight,buttheobstruction
doesnotallowfullgasflowtotheburners.

BUILTININSTALLATION
1. Pleasefollowtheseinstructionsforinstallation.
2. TheminimumclearanceofthesidesoftheBBQtowallsneedstobe50mm.
3. DONOTblockanyventilationslotsoftheBBQ.
4. Theenclosurematerialforthecutoutshouldnotbecombustible.
5. DoNotplacegascylinderunderneaththebarbecue,keeprequiredclearance.
6. Ensurefloorclearanceandthecavityunderneaththebarbecuearekept.

1. Apipewithminimumdiameterof15mmisrequiredforinletpiping.Aleveroperatedshut‐offvalveshouldbe
installedwithin1meteroftheapplianceforservingtheappliance.
2. WhereitisnotpracticaltoinstallasolidpipeAGAcertifiedtoAS/NZS1869classA,stainlesssteelbrainedhosemay
beinstalled.ThishoseassemblymustcomplywithAS5601Gasinstallations,pipesizingtablesandshallnotexceed3
metersinlength.Theinternaldiameterofthehosemustnotbelessthan10mm.
3. Allgaspipeconnectionsmustbesealedwithagaspipecompoundresistanttonaturalgas.

1. Unscrewandremovetherearpanelpictured.
2. Unscrewthemainburnersecuringscrewsandremovetheburnersittingittooneside.

3. Withtheburnerremoved,youwillseethebrassgasjetwhichisscrewedintotheendof
thevalve.PutthejetforLPGonthesocketdriverandscrewitinsidethegasjetforNG.
MakesuretheLPGjetisfixedbyglue.

Warranty Information
Limited 5 Year Warranty: The stainless steel body housing, burners, cooking grates and plates are warranted to be free
from defects in material and workmanship when subjected to normal domestic use and service for five years from the
original purchaser. This warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts, with the owner paying all other costs
including labor.
Limited 2 Year Warranty: The gas valves, ignitions and burner covers are warranted to be free from defects in material
and workmanship when subjected to normal domestic use and service for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
