3 hours to fully charge the camera.
In case you do not have a mobile phone adapter, you can connect the camera
to a computer for charging. When charging is completed, the indicator stays on.
Please insert a MicroSD/SDHC memory card before
taking any photo.

Switch off the power before charging.
Connect a mobile phone adapter (5V/1A or above)
with a mobile phone Micro USB cable for charging.
When charging, the power indicator continues to
blink. When charging is completed, the indicator
goes off.
Press the memory card into the slot until it clicks.
Press again to eject.

MicroSD memory card are not included in the package.
You are allowed to take 2MP photos even if a memory card is not inserted,
and the photos will be transferred automatically into your smartphone.

Turn on NFC* on your smartphone. Gently touch
the back of your smartphone with Cubic camera
until Cubic Camera application is launched and
the lens protrudes.
Please unlock the screen first. Otherwise,
the connection cannot be established
when the smartphone screen is locked.

Launch Cubic Camera application on your
smartphone.
Choose the camera ID** with which you want to
connect.

In the shooting mode, the camera takes photos with all settings, except the
flashlight control.
When a photo is taken, the 2MP copy will be transferred automatically into
your smartphone, and the 13MP copy will be saved in the memory card in
the camera.
Before you start to record videos, please change the
shooting mode from photo to video
After the recording is completed, videos categorized as Fast Sharing 1 and
Fast Sharing 2 will be transferred automatically to your smartphone. Full HD
videos are saved in the memory card in the camera.
To obtain more stabilized and perfect images, we suggest you take
photos using the shutter button on the screen.
Launch Cubic Camera application on your smartphone.
Use the shutter button on the screen of your smartphone or on the
camera to take a photo.
Use the shutter button on the screen of your smartphone or on the
camera to record a video.
Press again the button to stop recording.
Downloading photos from the camera / Viewing photos on your smartphone

To view high-resolution photos/videos, please use "Download from Camera"
function to download 13MP photos and Full HD videos to your smartphone.
On the application screen, tap "Download from Camera".
The download screen will appear, where users can select photos/videos
to download.
When the selection is completed, tap "Download".
After the download is completed, tap "Exit" to return to the application
screen.
To view photos you have downloaded, tap "View Photos" on the
application screen to access Gallery on your smartphone. Users can also
access Gallery from the main screen of the application to view the photos.
FAQ
1. How do I install Cubic Camera application on my smartphone?
Please make sure that your smartphone provides NFC connectivity:
If NFC is available, please contact the NFC of Cubic Camera with the NFC of
your smartphone to automatically download the application from Google Play.
If NFC is unavailable, please search "altek Cubic" or "Cubic Camera" in Google
Play and install Cubic Camera application.
2. What if I cannot find Cubic Camera application in Google Play?
Cubic Camera application only supports Android 4.0 or above. Please make sure
your operating system is supported.
3. How do I connect Cubic Camera with my smartphone?
Please make sure that your smartphone provides NFC connectivity:
If NFC is available, please contact the NFC of Cubic Camera with the NFC of
your smartphone to switch on the camera and the application for pairing.
If NFC is unavailable, please switch on Cubic Camera and launch Cubic Camera
application for pairing.
4. Why can't Cubic device be found through my smartphone?
Please make sure you have switched on Cubic Camera, and then reopen Cubic
Camera application.
5. Why can't I switch on Cubic Camera/application through NFC?
Please make sure the NFC function has been turned on. When the NFC sign on
the back of Cubic appropriately aligns with your smartphone where the NFC sign
is marked, you may wait for the camera and application to turn on.
6. How do I charge Cubic?
Please use a standard Micro USB cable and a 5V/1A power adapter
(recommended).
7. What is the maximum size of memory card supported by Cubic?
It supports MicroSD cards up to 32GB and Class 2/4/6/8/10.
8. How do I save the data inside Cubic Camera?
You can use your smartphone to download images from Cubic, or you can use
the USB connection to copy images to your computer.
9. Why can I find other Cubic SSID when opening Cubic Camera application?
There are other Cubic Cameras existing in the environment you are in. Please
choose the right SSID according to that specified at the bottom of your Cubic.
10. Can I switch on and use Cubic Camera when charging?
Yes, you can switch on Cubic Camera when you are charging it with a travel or
portable charger.
11. Why can't I use the Internet when my smartphone is connected with Cubic?
The Wi-Fi network will be turned off when you connect Cubic with your
smartphone through Wi-Fi.
12. How do I change the date/time?
The date/time of the camera will be adjusted automatically to the date/time of
your smartphone.
13. Why does the lens of Cubic Camera remain protruding or why doesn't
respond to any operation?
Please press the Reset button with a paper clip to switch off the camera and
reboot it.
About the shooting mode:
Face detection is a default function in the shooting mode.
Users can turn on/off the touch-to-shoot function in the setting menu.
Users can turn on/off the macro function in the setting menu.
About the size of images/videos:

About viewing the photos:
Users can choose to view high-resolution images or videos from
"Download from Camera".
Before sharing photos, you have to switch the Wi-Fi hotspot from the
camera to other Internet hotspots.
About switching off the camera:
Press the power button to switch off the camera.
By default, the camera shuts itself off if it does not detect any
operation within the period of 5 minutes. The default period can be
configured in the setting menu.

In the shooting mode, the camera takes photos with all settings, except the
flashlight control.
When a photo is taken, the 2MP copy will be transferred automatically into
your smartphone, and the 13MP copy will be saved in the memory card in
the camera.
Before you start to record videos, please change the
shooting mode from photo to video
After the recording is completed, videos categorized as Fast Sharing 1 and
Fast Sharing 2 will be transferred automatically to your smartphone. Full HD
videos are saved in the memory card in the camera.
To obtain more stabilized and perfect images, we suggest you take
photos using the shutter button on the screen.
Launch Cubic Camera application on your smartphone.
Use the shutter button on the screen of your smartphone or on the
camera to take a photo.
Use the shutter button on the screen of your smartphone or on the
camera to record a video.
Press again the button to stop recording.

To view high-resolution photos/videos, please use "Download from Camera"
function to download 13MP photos and Full HD videos to your smartphone.
On the application screen, tap "Download from Camera".
The download screen will appear, where users can select photos/videos
to download.
When the selection is completed, tap "Download".
After the download is completed, tap "Exit" to return to the application
screen.
To view photos you have downloaded, tap "View Photos" on the
application screen to access Gallery on your smartphone. Users can also
access Gallery from the main screen of the application to view the photos.

1. How do I install Cubic Camera application on my smartphone?
Please make sure that your smartphone provides NFC connectivity:
If NFC is available, please contact the NFC of Cubic Camera with the NFC of
your smartphone to automatically download the application from Google Play.
If NFC is unavailable, please search "altek Cubic" or "Cubic Camera" in Google
Play and install Cubic Camera application.
2. What if I cannot find Cubic Camera application in Google Play?
Cubic Camera application only supports Android 4.0 or above. Please make sure
your operating system is supported.
3. How do I connect Cubic Camera with my smartphone?
Please make sure that your smartphone provides NFC connectivity:
If NFC is available, please contact the NFC of Cubic Camera with the NFC of
your smartphone to switch on the camera and the application for pairing.
If NFC is unavailable, please switch on Cubic Camera and launch Cubic Camera
application for pairing.
4. Why can't Cubic device be found through my smartphone?
Please make sure you have switched on Cubic Camera, and then reopen Cubic
Camera application.
5. Why can't I switch on Cubic Camera/application through NFC?
Please make sure the NFC function has been turned on. When the NFC sign on
the back of Cubic appropriately aligns with your smartphone where the NFC sign
is marked, you may wait for the camera and application to turn on.
6. How do I charge Cubic?
Please use a standard Micro USB cable and a 5V/1A power adapter
(recommended).
7. What is the maximum size of memory card supported by Cubic?
It supports MicroSD cards up to 32GB and Class 2/4/6/8/10.
8. How do I save the data inside Cubic Camera?
You can use your smartphone to download images from Cubic, or you can use
the USB connection to copy images to your computer.
9. Why can I find other Cubic SSID when opening Cubic Camera application?
There are other Cubic Cameras existing in the environment you are in. Please
choose the right SSID according to that specified at the bottom of your Cubic.
10. Can I switch on and use Cubic Camera when charging?
Yes, you can switch on Cubic Camera when you are charging it with a travel or
portable charger.
11. Why can't I use the Internet when my smartphone is connected with Cubic?
The Wi-Fi network will be turned off when you connect Cubic with your
smartphone through Wi-Fi.
12. How do I change the date/time?
The date/time of the camera will be adjusted automatically to the date/time of
your smartphone.
13. Why does the lens of Cubic Camera remain protruding or why doesn't
respond to any operation?
Please press the Reset button with a paper clip to switch off the camera and
reboot it.

Face detection is a default function in the shooting mode.
Users can turn on/off the touch-to-shoot function in the setting menu.
Users can turn on/off the macro function in the setting menu.
