ASSEMBLY
The ALZO SHOCK MULTI-MOUNT can be assembled in
many configurations. The most common assembly has the 2
cages facing the same direction as shown below. In order
to accommodate different equipment, you may need to
reposition the parts to achieve the optimal arrangement.
The cages are mounted to the connecting bar with the
supplied cap screws, lock washers and the 5/32” Allen
wrench. Screws must enter the thin side of the cage mount
as shown. On first assembly the screws must be tightened
VERY firmly to compress the cage mount over the
connecting bar. This will prevent movement of the cages.
The connecting bar has several holes to allow for
repositioning the shoe mount. The shoe mount can be
repositioned to adjust the balance of the device when
loaded with gear.
USAGE GUIDE
The ALZO SHOCK MULTI-MOUNT is an accessory
mounting device that can be used with either a DSLR
camera or CAMCORDER. In addition, the device can be
used mounted on a tripod or a light stand.
The device is designed with a large cage with 4 standard
cold shoe mounts and 5 ¼” mounting holes to allow the user
many accessory mounting options. Although the small cage
has short shoe mounts like the large cage, these are not full
size and we do not recommend using them as shoe mounts.
Typical accessories may include a microphone, audio mixer,
audio recorder and/or a camera light.

Many mini-camcorders utilize a proprietary mini shoe mount and
the ALZO Multi-Mount will not directly mount to these cameras.
To use the Multi-Mount with small camcorders, we recommend
the use of a camera bracket like the ALZO TRANSFORMER
bracket.
Alzovideo.com has several camera bracket options suitable for
supporting the ALZO Multi-Mount and are compatible with all
mini CAMCORDERS.
MOUNTING AUDIO RECORDERS
When mounting audio recorders in the ALZO Shock Multi-Mount
you can employ 1 or 2 rubber bands in the cages.
EXAMPLE USAGE
Below the ALZO SHOCK MULTI-MOUNT is shown below is
supporting an LCD monitor, a ZOOM H4N audio recorder and a
shock mounted shotgun microphone on a DSLR camera.
The ALZO SHOCK MULTI-MOUNT can be converted to an
ALZO Multi-Mount by removing the connecting bar and the
small cage. This configuration is handy when you do not need
the shock mounting feature and you need a smaller footprint.
