BREAKING-IN
Helpassure

extraattentionto how you ride the first l000km. During this periodavoid
full throttleriding,besuretodriveataspeednomorethan807,ofeachgear I
andto continually changingspeed.After the break-in period,be sureto
conduct
maintenancesoas
to makecompensationfor initial wear.The ser-
vicelite will beextendedobviouslythroughsuch
maintenance.

parts
mayoccur.Makesurethe
gearshiftpedal
isoperated
gently
andexactly.
Ridingwithyour
footrestingonthebrake
pedal
maysuddenlychangea
speedand/ordamagethedrivingmechanism.
BRAKING AND PARKING
To stopthe motorcycle, close thethrottle anddisengagethecluich by pulling
in the clutch lever, then smoothly operatethe front andrearbrakesuntil
stoppingthe motorcycle.
Shift the transmission into neutral, tum the emergencyswitch to "m"
position.Then setthe fuel cock to "OFF" position, supportthe motor-
cycle with the centcr or side stand,After parking, turn the ignition switch to
"X" position
andlock thesteeringlock,followed by removingthekey.
