2.2 Transport Requirement
During transportation, the battery packaging box must be placed horizontally, and avoid
strong vibration, shock and heavy pressure during transportation.
2.3 Storage Requirements
If the battery system is not put into operation immediately, it needs to be stored under specific
environmental conditions. Amerisolar is not responsible for any failure caused by storage.
When storing, ensure that the power of the battery system is not less than 60%; the storage
environment temperature should not exceed 40°C, and the relative humidity should not
exceed 80%. At the same time, it should be kept away from flammable and explosive
materials, dust and metal powder, and acid or other corrosive gases. The battery system
should be stored in a place away from rain, humidity and sunlight.
3. Product Description

3.1.2 Operational Safety
For safety reasons, it is the installer's responsibility to be familiar with the contents of this
document and all warnings before performing the installation.
(1)When operating and maintaining this product, please follow the operating regulations of
the high- voltage DC power supply and take good personal protective measures. If you need
to directly dispose of the battery, please wear insulating rubber gloves;
(2)Keep away from children;
(3)Before touching the battery, please avoid touching exposed metal parts;
(4)To prevent static electricity from accumulating, maintenance personnel should discharge
static electricity from the human body before operating the battery;
(5)Never put tools or metal parts on top of the battery;
(6)During the assembly process, please be careful not to touch the positive and negative
terminals of the battery with your hands or other metal objects at the same time to avoid
electric shock or short circuit;
(7)Do not step on or sit on the battery;
(8)Do not short-circuit the positive and negative electrodes of the battery directly, otherwise it

will cause the battery to leak, heat up and rupture;
(9)It is strictly prohibited to modify the battery without authorization. To prevent danger, a
protection system is installed in the battery. If the protection system is damaged, charging
and discharging may not be controlled, or the charging and discharging current may exceed
the set boundary value, resulting in battery leakage, heat generation and rupture;
(10)It is strictly forbidden to cover the battery during charging and discharging. Otherwise, the
generated heat will accumulate, the battery performance will decrease, and liquid leakage will
occur.
3.1.3 Responding to Emergencies
Electrolyte leakage
If electrolyte leakage occurs, avoid contact with the leaking liquid or gas. If the user is
exposed to the leaked material, please immediately follow the instructions below:
Inhalation: Evacuate the contaminated area and seek medical attention immediately;
Eye contact: Flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes, and seek medical attention
immediately;
Skin contact: Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water, and seek medical
attention immediately;
Ingestion: Cause vomiting and seek medical attention immediately.
(2)The battery catches fire
If the battery catches fire, move it to a safe area before the battery catches fire. When the
battery is heated to above 150°C, it may explode; when the battery pack is burned, toxic gas
will be leaked, please do not approach it.
(3)The battery is immersed in water
If the battery is immersed in water, please do not use it before maintenance and inspection by
professionals.
(4)The battery is damaged
A damaged battery may leak electrolyte or produce flammable gas. Damaged batteries are
dangerous and must be handled by professionals.
