READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY
YOUR SAFETY IS CRUCIAL.
PRE-USE RECOMMENDATIONS
Before using the product for the first time, read this manual
carefully and follow the information contained therein.
INTENDED USE:
LED STINGRAY is an all-round diving compact torch that can be
used either as a primary or as a back-up diving light.
LED STINGRAY is intended for use underwater as a primary or
secondary (back-up) source of light.
LED STINGRAY has been tested and approved for use up to a
maximum depth of 200 meters.
WARNING!
The metal parts can reach a high temperature while the
torch is being used on the surface.
TURNING THE TORCH ON / OFF
To prepare the torch for operation, the head should be unscrewed
out of the body; then the Li-ion 21700 battery should be placed
inside so that the negative (“-“) is located towards the spring. The
head should then be screwed in.

The torch is turned on by screwing the head until the LEDs turn on.
The torch is turned off by unscrewing the head until its LEDs turn off.
To protect the torch against accidentally turning on, unscrewing
an additional half turn is highly recommended.
Before using the torch, its integrity should be checked by verifying
whether all parts sealed with o-rings are correctly located.
The o-rings must be dirt and damage free, for example debris,
scratches, cracks or cuts can cause flooding and, consequently,
damage the torch.
LED STINGRAY is powered by a Li-ion 21700 rechargeable battery
with a USB Type-C charging port and surge protection.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
LED STINGRAY should be stored and transported with the battery
removed which helps to avoid accidental activation.
Specific directions regulate the carriage of battery-powered
electrical equipment.
Before travelling by land, air, or sea, please refer to carrier
instructions for (the - delete) Li-ion battery transport.
BATTERY CHARGING
The Li-ion 21700 rechargeable battery must be charged with the
use of the Ammonite System cable provided, or any other USB
Type-C cable.
WARNING!
While charging, do not leave the charging battery
unattended.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures lower than
0°C and higher than 40°C (32°F and 104°F, respectively).

Do not use rechargeable batteries other than those specified in
the manual. Doing so may damage the torch or weaken its
performance by breaking the circuit – such is the case with
unprotected batteries without USB Type-C sockets, since such
batteries are slightly shorter.
PRECAUTIONS
LED STINGRAY is a strong source of light.
Looking directly at the light should be avoided as it may damage
your eyes!
The torch is also a source of UV radiation. Do not expose your
skin to the light for extended periods.
The torch is not a toy, keep it out of reach of children.
Do not use the 21700 rechargeable batteries that are not
protected by the protection circuit and/or without the USB Type-C
charging port.
Do not use batteries when they heat up to temperatures higher
than 40°C (104°F) – high temperatures can destroy the battery.
Do not leave the torch in the sun or next to a heat source.
As a result of this, the Li-ion battery can reach a considerable
temperature, which may lead to significant gas emission or
self-ignition, or even the battery’s explosion.
Ammonite System® guarantees LED STINGRAY integrity up to
the pressure of 309 PSI / 21 atm, which is equal to 656 ft / 200 m
depth.
Do not use the torch if there is any visible damage to the o-ring
sealing.
It is recommended to check the o-rings located on the head after
every charge of the battery.
It is recommended to lubricate the o-rings with silicone grease
every few dives.
The o-rings will ensure integrity unless they are dirty or damaged,
and only when their specification complies with the specification
determined by the manufacturer.
Do not use the torch if the torch has flooded or has had water
inside.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
LED STINGRAY shouldn’t be repaired by the user. All repairs
(excluding o-ring checkout and lubrication, and rinsing the
tightened torch in fresh water) should be performed only by an
authorized Ammonite System service centre.
For repair and maintenance of the torch, only the components
and spare parts supplied by the producer must be used.
Components and spare parts from other sources, although
identical in appearance, may have slightly different properties,
which may negatively impact on the performance of the torch.
Using unauthorized components and parts may weaken the
performance or damage the torch.
In the event of flooding or malfunction, read the warranty terms
at the end of this manual and follow the instructions contained
therein.
In case of any questions, or if any of the information contained
in this manual is not clear, contact the manufacturer to get an
explanation.
Electrical and electronic components as well as standard or
rechargeable batteries used for their power supply can be
